We selected this place to celebrate Mother’s Day. Unfortunately the experience was not good, service was mediocre, we got our appetizers but did not have plates, the main courses were all cold, and overall service was not good. However, they charged 20% service charge without asking, I suppose with that there is no incentive to provide good service.
It is a nice place , nice ambiance, but sadly the service needs to improve and the food temperature and timing as well
This was such an eclectic restaurant. IT's the old court house and they kept the beauty of the building. The food was amazing, ambiance great, staff attentive. Will definitely eat here again.
For the price, I expect food to look, and taste appetizing. Food was bland, in some cases on the verge of being overcooked, and not any kind of WOW factor. I can slice a piece of polenta off of a package, I don't need to pay an excessive price. Steak skewers were medium well, not medium rare, making them tough. The "sauce" could have come out of a Heinz jar. If the quality was higher, then I could justify the price, but this meal was in the Olive Garden range...and the prices just did not justify the higher price.
Great service and they have a nice breakfast. A fun and relaxing atmosphere. They could have done more with the "courthouse" setting and played on that more. The breakfast menu could be a bit more varied but the items that are on there were very good.
Great service. Food was amazing.
A nice easy walk from our hotel. Great building. Very accommodating waiter and delicious burgers and mahi mahi
Nice intimate atmosphere!! Highly recommend anyone going there.
Great Valentines dinner with my love
My girlfriend always wanted to go there ever since she saw there menu.
So I planed out a entire Valentine’s Day for her and I starting with brunch at Bizou Brasserie. Hostess was Great Ambiance excellent for Valentines Day! But when it came to our service and our food we were very disappointed and dissatisfied. Food was cold grits were cold couldn’t get our server, he was nowhere in sight. I’m in the hospitality business and I’ve never not tip or under tip my server until that day..I can’t even recall his name. The busser paid more attention to us then our server. 1 bad apple won’t stop me from coming back one more time, I just pray that on my next visit I get better service.
Menu is small/limited. I expected more, maybe my hopes were too high. I got the burger, it was good but nothing special.
The service couldn't have been better and dinner was good. It's a beautiful restaurant and I enjoyed the live guitar music.
Great service and beautiful ambiance!
I would not go there again.
Unique Architecture. Restaurant resides in a historic courthouse featuring stunning architecture, marble hallways and original oak doors. Menu and service was limited because of Covid but drinks, food and staff were still excellent. We ordered old fashions, a charcuterie board, bacon wrapped scallops, Caesar salad and a honey glazed Salmon that were all delicious.
Great service and food!! Atmosphere was very nice and loved the decor in the entire restaurant.
I love the ambiance and decor. Food is pretty good too, and reasonably priced for a more upscale place.
We left. Service was so bad we couldn’t get a drink and the restaurant was empty! Menu options were terrible as well. 10/10 would not ever go back or recommend.
Only positive is the restaurant itself was nicely decorated and very clean.
Great NYE thanks!
Service and food left much to be desired. Will not return.
We loved our server Shawn I believe was his name!
I have dined at other Le Meridian properties and my expectations on patron attention were not met. I had requested a special dessert to be presented for our 34th wedding anniversary, but the wait staff made no mention and presented only what was on the menu. It made our experience rather average. The food was superb. The dining room flooring should be replaced as it is covered in stains and appears dirty - not to Le Meridian standard in my opinion.
I’m extremely disappointed in the food. For the price we paid it was not worth it at all. My steak was way under cooked, I had to send it back to be cooked further and it was so fatty and tough for a filet. I wish I had saved the time and money and just stayed home. Very very disappointing.
Made a reservation for 7 people for breakfast and when we arrived we were told the manager decided the night before they weren’t going to open and we received no notification whatsoever. Quite embarrassing because it was three different family members that drove quite a ways to meet us there. I would think with an online reservation system like this the manager could’ve at least sent out a notification to the customers that had booked a table??
Great ambiance and service. Food quality not so good.
Everything was good, not great, not unsatisfactory
It was in a hotel setting. Beautiful atmosphere. Service and drinks were good. Food on other hand was disgusting and not worth the money.
Food was not very hot and we were the first table there so I feel like they have it ready sitting under a lamp maybe? And definitely not enough choices on the menu
Sometimes you just want to try something new when family tradition would say otherwise. I decided to eat a solo meal and was so satisfied. The traditional turkey dinner was delicious and so very affordable. Many thanks to the chefs, staff and restaurant for being open on Thanksgiving day.
They said they were closed when we got there even though we had a reservation. I felt really bad for the girl who was waiting on us, I am pretty sure she’s not actually trained as a waitress. We wanted mimosas, we were having a celebratory brunch for a friend who got married, and the lady said she’d have to find a manager to get champagne, but none were available. It was very bizarre.
We were not aware that only the bar area was reopened or that they had a very limited menu. Food was still good but there was only one fish dish on the menu and only one vegetable for a choice of sides. We will wait for them to fully reopen before returning.
We came to this restaurant with high expectations and were not disappointed. The food was really good, the staff was very friendly and we got all the time in the world to make pur choices
Great service, food and vibe.
We had two burgers, split the chips with hummus and guac on the small plate menu for an appetizer, and for drinks a beer and two cocktails. It was $100.00 with tip. The service was a little bit slow but I sensed they may have been short handed somewhere. Not an issue as we were in no rush and I am sympathetic and acknowledge those things happen. We had an earlier reservation so the place felt a bit empty. It started to pick up as we were leaving. The burgers were excellent and the cocktails very good. The atmosphere was nice, but felt a bit odd to be there so early. Yes, it was pricey for two burgers and some chips, but so good that we’ll definitely be back. It was a nice evening.
Okay atmosphere. Food okay, but nothing special. Hard to judge service since we were the only people on the restaurant side.
Great food with healthy options. Restaurant Manager very helpful and informative.
Great ambiance and the food is really great! The wine was served at the right temperature.
Very limited menu and the food was sub par. Service was very slow even though we were one of maybe 4 tables in the entire restaurant. The decor was super cute but I will not be returning.
Our experience at Bizou Brasserie was fantastic! Our server, Niko, was very polite and helpful, and the food was delicious!
Food was fantastic! Management was amazing! Wait staff was ok. Noise level when the live performer was playing made it hard to hear each other across the table. When he took his breaks we could talk normally. Over all great experience. Totally recommend for a date night!
We chose this restaurant for our Valentine's day dinner because it was close to Amalie Arena where we would be enjoying a concert later that evening. They have very reasonable valet parking and the restaurant has a very nice upscale atmosphere.
We were surprised to find that they did not have their regular menu. Instead they had a limited Valentine's day menu. We were disappointed because we were already looking forward to some choices from their regular menu that we had viewed online. The Valentine's day menu was also quite expensive ($50 fish is an example). Dinner for two with no drinks was $180.00. Also, the tip is built in to the bill.
The appetizers were very good. The sales was cute in presentation, but short on flavor. My fish was excellent, but my wife's Cornish Hen was a bit dry. Overall we had a good experience, but not at the price they charged. It seemed like the Valentine's day menu was just a tactic to price gouge.
We might still consider going back when they have their regular menu.
