Bistro Byronz Willow Grove
A Southern version of the quaint cafes in Paris, with the sophistication and casual flare of New York City bistros, incorporating the flavors, culture and lagniappe of Louisiana was to us the perfect and distinct approach.

classic étouffée w/ crawfish tails (White rice on the side)
cranberry almond chicken salad, mixed green salad, House Dressing, grilled pita
! Suppose to be Eggplant Napoleon with some kind of cheese between the slices. The Caesar salad was old bag lettuce. Do I need to continue? I won’t be back?
This place is usually wonderful, but not so much on this visit. The hamburgers were a bit overdone and my salad was drenched in dressing. Couldn't even eat tuna off of it, as it was too heavily seasoned and overcooked. The restaurant was extremely busy, so maybe that was the issue on this visit. Saving grace of the meal was the bottomless champagne/mimosas. Delish. :-)
One of my favorites places to eat. Always a wonderful experience.
Menu in the restaurant is not the same, is very poor and the food was greasy and salty, not recommend it.
Nice casual lunch—very good food and service!
Great food with a cool atmosphere
We enjoyed the Nice brunch at Bistro Bryonz! We will be back!!
We went for date night and our server did not come to our table for awhile. We totally understood because it is short staffed everywhere. However, I ordered chicken and a house salad and indicated that I didn’t want the pita because of an allergy and got croutons instead, which I’m also allergic to and had told the waitress.
I remember loving Bistro Byronz. I don't know that i will return.
- My "debris" poboy. was a small, cool temp, roast beef with no gravy. If I had ordered a "roast beef poboy" i might be happy. But I ordered a "debris"
- My son's gumbo was cool temp and "weird". It had french overtones not cajun. again, if was some french soup, maybe but words have meanings.
- all of our food was slightly above room temperature.
- the bread pudding was really good.
Very disappointed the chicken paillard dish has changed. It was perfect with the mixed vegetables and roasted potatoes and whatever sauce was on it. Last night it was over cooked and dry (first time) and the mixed vegetables with zucchini and squash weren’t on the menu. I won’t order it again. My sons steak was delicious and my husbands burger was also quite good. The other diner has the chicken paillard and had the same experience as I did.
Extremely small portion of appetizer spinach dip (should put for individual only on menu). Way more rice than crawfish étouffée in the cup.
They changed the menu since our last visit. Some additions look good but they took away some favorites (boo).
The food was mediocre at best. I had the "chicken pot pie" which was some shredded, very tough chicken, very few veggies in a very salty broth over two very stale pieces of biscuit not a "flaky crust" as the menu described. My son had the bbq burger which was very thick which isn't necessarily bad but it lacked flavor and the BBQ sauce had a strange taste to it. We received our appetizer about 20 minutes before our drinks (one which was a beer!) The server did what she could while attempting to wait on half the restaurant and dealing with a slow bar, etc. I have come to accept slower service in the post covid world but the fact that there was a floor manager just walking around and not checking with tables or apologizing for the long wait for drinks, etc. (or better yet, jump behind the bar) was disappointing. We likely won't be back.
In general our meals at Bistro Byronz are quite good. But this particular night the kitchen seemed to be running a bit behind and the coordination with the service was a bit off. The salmon fillet I ordered was a bit overcooked, as well. This was somewhat unusual based on our prior experience so it won't prevent me from returning.
Great server was wonderful attentive and friendly
The French dip sandwich had little meat. No flavor except for the garlic bread. The burger was drenched with cheese and fries were thrown on top. Not appetizing. But the service was great and atmosphere comfortable.
I’ve always liked - and still like this restaurant. The service, ambiance, and food have always been very good.
However, although the first two were on point last night, the food was not quite as good as previous visits.
I had to return my entree twice because the rice was undercooked. I finally ordered a different dish which had a good taste and texture but had a bit too much salt. The server never faltered, understood the situation, and took care of it with no issues. Well done there.
Great service and great food.
we have eaten here several times and have NEVER had service this bad. They neglected to give us menus, take drink orders and greet us for 20 minutes after we were seated. The table usually has a table cloth and was bare and sticky all over. One dish was cold and the other lacked all the ingredients listed on the menu. Drink orders took a VERY long time to come out.
When there was an issue with the seating for my reservation, I received a phone call asking if we were ok with a high top table. I appreciated the communication. The food and atmosphere were great and the mosow mule was on point! Even with homecoming tables everywhere (I am a high school teacher) it was still a pleasant experience.
The server and atmosphere were great but the food was disappointing. I would go again but would choose items that any restaurant can make. Sandwiches or burgers.
My food was cold and I had to ask if they could heat it for me. It was my Birthday lunch and I noted that when I booked the reservation. Absolutely nothing was said are done for my special day. I was very disappointed.
I am hearing impaired and requested a corner table which was not what was reserved. The host said that he would try to rearrange things for us and sat us at a very small table for two that he said was all that was available. My son is 6’6” and looked like he was wearing the table. Other parties of two we bring seated at 4 person tables. There was a four person corner table in the room where we were seated. I asked the waitress if we could move to that table and without hesitation she said yes and we did move and were much more comfortable. Obviously the host could have seated us there in the beginning but chose not too even after I asked. With my degree of hearing loss, it is helpful for me to be seated in a corner.
The Shrimp Acadiana and Blackened Shrimp Salad were super delicious and the portions were generous! It was nice to sit at the table and talk without having to yell over loud people and music. Very pleasant evening!
I celebrated my birthday. This was my first time at this restaurant and I wasn’t disappointed. The food was pretty good, the service was great, and I loved my drink. I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family.
I ordered pork chops-they were delicious. The carrot soufflé was scrumptious. The gravy was tasty. Th rice was “crunchy”-as if it had dried out or been scraped from the bottom of the pan.
This experience will not keep me away. I’ve been a Byronz fan for decades. Just think this should be brought to your attention. Your staff is doing the best they can with staffing shortages. I still enjoyed my lunch.
Poor menu choice. Salmon ordered med. served well done
Both, my wife and I had the steak. It was great, cooked exactly the way we requested (medium rare). The service was outstanding.
The vodka freeze was perfect for a late lunch on a hot August day. We munched on the blue cheese chips before our delicious salads arrived. Great brunch place!!
Everything was great, but our server rarely came to the table, and we had to request our water refills more than twice, and we had to wait a good while before we just found him to ask for our check.
Food was great and nice casual atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to friends
We enjoyed the atmosphere and our server was very kind and attentive. The manager stopped by to check how everything was - which was nice. We had vodka freezes in orange flavor and also in raspberry flavor. Both flavors were great! The blue cheese chips were, as always, fantastic! I enjoyed my chicken Ceasar wrap with fries. My friend enjoyed the steak. She said the flavor was great but it was a little tough. My other friend got a shrimp salad and although she ate the entire salad, she wished the shrimp would have been warm and that they had been seasoned more. Overall it was a wonderful time enjoyed by all!
Food was good, atmosphere was good, service was a little slow. Waters were not refilled unless we asked.
Love this local restaurant. It’s such a comfortable, South Louisiana dining venue with the food that we love.
Consistently excellent. They are also taking COVID seriously, which I really appreciated.
I live in the neighborhood and go to Byronz quite often.
I made reservations online and when we arrived - we were told that I had made reservations for outside. They showed me their screen and it did say outside but mine screen didn’t indicate that. I told her that we wished to sit inside and she was VERY rude and said she had no place for us inside. The place was almost empty!! She said they were all reserved. Do finally she stomped off and found a big round table for the three of us. I told her that wouldn’t work - ways too big for us. Well after more arguing, etc. she found us and 4 top in the bar. What happened to the customer is right. When we left - there were still several tables available that had not had a sole sitting in them. This was a Wed night and I know you were not as busy as she let on.
Our server - Lilly - was very sweet but got our order wrong and we ended up getting our mashed potatoes for desert.
We overheard the table next to us and she got their table wrong, as well. The food was very good - in fact I was supposed to split and order of pork chops with my 10 year old grandson and ended up eating both pork chops and the green beans and most of the mashed potatoes I ordered. Haha I hate to complain but like I told my friend - if this were our first time at your restaurant - I doubt I would return.
Always enjoy a visit to Bistro Byronz.
We had our usual order of Blue Cheese Chips to start. I opted to try their Chambord flavored Vodka Freeze, and it will now be my usual. Their standard vodka freeze is delicious, but the added raspberry flavor really turns it up a notch.
Any time you can get their carrot soufflé, get it. The Les Pork Chops plate is one of my favorite entrees, especially because it comes with the carrot soufflé.
Food too spicy and very cold. Cute place. Parking is a challenge.
