Bistro Byronz Mid City
A Southern version of the quaint cafes in Paris, with the sophistication and casual flare of New York City bistros, incorporating the flavors, culture and lagniappe of Louisiana was to us the perfect and distinct approach.

Restaurant is closed, this ruined my Easter Sunday because we could not get into anywhere else.
It sucked. They were closed.
Why take reservations when you are CLOSED?
This restaurant was closed, evidently permanently. We reserved online and showed up and to our dismay, it was empty.
When we arrived at the restaurant for our reservation, the restaurant was closed. It is unfortunate that they restaurant was listed with open reservations on OpenTable. Very disappointed!
Everything was great, except for the service. Our server, Adam, was pretty disrespectful. Told us to “hold on” when we attempted to order drinks and threw the plates on the table. Food was great though.
Went in for dinner Saturday night. Our table was one of two in the restaurant. The service was average. The French fries were hard, my salad was missing eggs which was one of the three ingredients in the dish wish no notification and chicken stew was cold.
Brunch menu limited due to COVID and it was not what we expected when we chose this location for brunch. This place is generally really good, I was the only party at our table who ordered off of brunch menu and the only disappointed diner.
Food and service was amazing. Will go back I am sure. Waitress was very good and polite.
One of my very favorite places!!!!! We go at least a couple of times a month!
Great service and food!
Had a nice dinner with my family. Would definitely return and recommend to others!
The food was very good. The service was amazing. Definitely a good choice. I recommend the brunch bowl.
in this age of pandemic, I especially appreciate the need to make a reservation, the clean down after a table clears & the mask wearing, distancing of the staff while still being of great service...brought a friend from Lake Charles in residence her in BR & she alos loved it, took a menu back to the hotel for future Waitr deliveries
It was for a birthday dinner
The food is consistently high quality and extreme fresh! The wait staff are friendly and very efficient. We have never been disappointed with our food or service at Bistro. Keep up the great work!
Has always been one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants. Was very impressed by their diligence in following recommended CDC protocol!
I requested a quiet table for a date night and we were placed in the perfect location. We arrived early and they were still able to accommodate our special request.
Bistro Byronz Mid City is just the perfect place to go out to eat. Lovely, but never fussy. The menu has something for everyone, and it is all amazing.
Food is good. Like the restaurant. Pot pie is not a traditional pot pie. Beware.
Since the coronavirus pandemic has begun, safety is my number one concern when I chose to dine out. It was clear from the moment we entered Bistro Byronz that safety was also their top priority. And the food was excellent! Would highly recommend.
Food was very good and the service was excellent. Great atmosphere!
Delicious food and great service!!! Fun bistro atmosphere
in a rush to eat and get to parade - no problem - thanks Byronz
My chair at the high top we were seated at was broken... waiter had to bring a new one. Got the rosemary spritz, it was just ok especially considering it was $12. They undercooked my steak. That’s the second time that’s happened there... I love this place but in the past year I’ve really noticed it isn’t as good as it once was.
Been here several times before... always think the value for the quality is excellent. Server did a fantastic job. Think where we sat was a bit noisier than previously experienced. My wife had a dish that fell short of expectation. My salmon was cooked beyond the requested temperature. So, overall it wasn't our best Byronz experience. But it'd certainly not keep us from returning or recommending.
Sunday brunch was fantastic. Staff was friendly and attentive to every detail. They assisted with selections and special requests from the various menus. The food was creative well presented and most of all delicious. Service was seamless and unobtrusive allowing us to take our time and enjoy the food, the experience as well as each other.
Music a little too loud. Hard to hear conversation at table
The new chicken and biscuit dinner was a winner. Chicken was tender. Breading was quite flavorful. The hot biscuit was the perfect compliment.
Everything was so -so. Drinks and food were average, service friendly but rushed to give us the check. Understand that it’s Tuesday but the day after LSU won the college football National Champions, the place was mostly empty.
Wonderful service and DELICIOUS food!
Always come here whenever in Baton Rouge. Great restaurant.
Extremely noisy! Could not even carry on a conversation! There was a corporate function - I believe Bistro Byronz and Flambee Cafe employees- going on in the MAIN (not private) dining room which was extremely loud and annoying. Service was slow, and the waitress was not very attentive. My Cassoulet was barely warm, but I didn't send it back for fear of a long delay. Don't plan to go back anytime soon.
We are so sorry that you were not able to enjoy your dining experience. The corporate function in the bar area was for City Year, a local non profit. Please let us know more details about where you sat so that we can follow up. We certainly could have gotten you a hot dish if you had let us known. We always want to have an opportunity to correct any issues . We certainly understand if you do not want to return but if you change your mind let us know and we will have a gift card waiting.
I have been a loyal patron of BB for years. This visit was a disaster. The service was great, but the food was terrible. My shrimp and corn soup had one small shrimp as did my companion's. The Poisson Acadian tasted old and fishy, and again, there were no crawfish in the etouffee. Immediately after leaving BB I got sick and we returned home missing the BR Theatre production. My ticket number was 30050.
Great live music!
The atmosphere is inviting and the food choices are interesting and varied enough for everyone to find something to enjoy. The wait staff was excellent!
Waited 5+ mins for service, finally went to manager. Food was fine as always. Disappointing experience yet again.
Noise level was higher than usual in a good way. We were there for a band. In our reservation, I requested to be near the band. We were front and center. Yay!
I would recommend your restaurant and your food but I would tell everyone to make sure they are Not sat at the table in the corner between the main dining area and the exit door to the patio area. We were placed there and with a table of 6 sitting to the other end of the room. We were unable to hear each other speak, the talking and laughing of the other table just echoed into our corner making it not only unpleasant when we were hoping to have a relaxing pleasant meal. It was also physically uncomfortable and both had ringing ears when we left. I would suggest making that an area for a service table with water, utensils, menus, etc or just put a pretty plant there. It is definately not condusive to a pleasent eating experience.
We are sorry that you were not happy with your location. Typically that is actually a quiet area to sit. However, it seems that in this situation the addition of the larger table in that room resulted in too much noise. In the future, please notate if you prefer to not sit in that area and we will make sure to find you a table in another area of our restaurant! We hope to see you soon!
Delicious food and drinks! Tables are a little close together. Very affordable and big portions.
