   Mother’s Day brunch was great in the end. Server was covering too much territory and we waited for an hour after ordering the main course. It was excellent upon arrival!

   We were in town celebrating our son's graduation from Liberty University. Set this reservation in advance & like most family outings, we had to call & change number attending multiple times & they were easy to do with. Food was phenomenal for everyone in our family from the Filet's, to Salmon, to Crab Cakes, to Pork Chop and the appetizers of Bacon Wrapped Scallops & chips/salsa, I must say they exceeded my expectations!!! If you are in the Roanoke area, Billy's is a MUST visit if you want an excellent dinner with a great wait staff. They even allowed us to bring in our own cake to celebrate!

   I had a large table of 7 for a family dinner. Our sever was decent, but she seemed rushed & unfriendly. We ordered from the dinner menu to varied results. The Cowboy Ribeye, crab cakes & Mornay Chicken were great and enjoyed. The crab stuffed flounder and Prime Rib dishes were dry. The Crab stuffed flounder was particularly unpleasant. The cheddar mashed potatoes were awesome, but the risotto had a slight crunch. We enjoyed the drink selection, ambiance, and I would try something else there again. I’d love to give an amazing review, but this was a solid “good”

   I thought it was lovely. I appreciated the fact that they accommodated my request for a quiet space as I had two 90 year olds eating with us. The food was delicious and arrived hot and served beautifully. The waiter was also very professional.

   Bill's is okay for brunch, although we are still unhappy that they no longer do the Easter Brunch buffet. The eggs were cooked perfectly and everything was served hot. the server was attentive and quick. The only problem is that there is not enough for children. There is no lemonade or apple juice, for instance. There is no ranch dressing to dip chicken fingers in. They just have limtied their offering to make it difficult with 2 children ad\nd that is why we rarely go there.

   My young family of 4 dined here on a Saturday evening while on a stopover in Roanoke on a longer road trip vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience in general. The wait staff was amazing and the service was great - they took great care of my youngest daughter regarding some food allergies she has. The bacon-wrapped scallops appetizer and the chocolate tort for dessert were the stars of the show for me - absolutely amazing. My only disappointment with the experience and the reason I wasn't able to give 5-stars is the fact that my $50 8oz filet, which I had ordered medium-rare, was woefully overcooked with only scant trace of any pink hue to the meat. I am not the type to complain to the wait staff (likely not their fault) or ask to send something back, so I powered through the well-done steak and made the best of my meal. It still tasted good after all, but just not cooked to my preference unfortunately. A meal with 2 apps, 4 entrees (1 of those a kid's menu entre), two desserts and 4 or 5 cocktails totaled over $300 before tip, so come prepared to spend some money. We would dine here again on a future visit to Roanoke.
