   Our food was good. Unfortunately due to a cook mistake a medium rare prime rib was not available, the cowboy cut alternative was still also over cooked. The server did a nice job at describing the menu and options for enhancements. The server also highly encouraged the bacon wrapped scallops appetizer, which were good. What came as a total surprise was the scallops were ‘market price.’ Market price that day was $13.00 a scallop, making the appetizer $16.00 more than the cost of the prime rib. I understand market pricing but I’ve never had an appetizer cost more than an entree. And probably something that should be communicated upfront. Management did reduce the pricing after we expressed our concerns.

   Excellent dinner. Randy enjoyed fried oysters on his salad. He had the Mediterranean spices on his grouper. I got the crab cakes. We finished with the lemon cake. Our server was delightful.

   Service was excellent given we had a large party. Some food items were reported a mildly overcooked (chicken) and salty (steak). Crab cakes while good do have some shell which took away from their overall appeal. Desserts were good all around. Would consider going back if in the area again due to the quality service and atmosphere.

   Mother’s Day brunch was great in the end. Server was covering too much territory and we waited for an hour after ordering the main course. It was excellent upon arrival!

   We were in town celebrating our son's graduation from Liberty University. Set this reservation in advance & like most family outings, we had to call & change number attending multiple times & they were easy to do with. Food was phenomenal for everyone in our family from the Filet's, to Salmon, to Crab Cakes, to Pork Chop and the appetizers of Bacon Wrapped Scallops & chips/salsa, I must say they exceeded my expectations!!! If you are in the Roanoke area, Billy's is a MUST visit if you want an excellent dinner with a great wait staff. They even allowed us to bring in our own cake to celebrate!

   I had a large table of 7 for a family dinner. Our sever was decent, but she seemed rushed & unfriendly. We ordered from the dinner menu to varied results. The Cowboy Ribeye, crab cakes & Mornay Chicken were great and enjoyed. The crab stuffed flounder and Prime Rib dishes were dry. The Crab stuffed flounder was particularly unpleasant. The cheddar mashed potatoes were awesome, but the risotto had a slight crunch. We enjoyed the drink selection, ambiance, and I would try something else there again. I’d love to give an amazing review, but this was a solid “good”

    I thought it was lovely. I appreciated the fact that they accommodated my request for a quiet space as I had two 90 year olds eating with us. The food was delicious and arrived hot and served beautifully. The waiter was also very professional.
