Mr. Baan’s Bar and Mookata is a place to gather and share unique cocktails, wine, and spirits while feasting on charcoal grilled Thai barbecue.

Mookata translates is “cook it yourself” barbecuing experience. It consists of a domed grill surrounded by a moat of broth, which is enriched by the drippings of the meat. A mookata set comes with various marinated meats, vegetables, eggs, and dippings sauces. Come enjoy Mookata on Mr. Baan's patio which has misters when it's hot or heaters when it's col.

Mr. Baan's is run by Yotaka and Alex Martin.

The service was great - friendly but not pushy. The food was delicious and all orders for our party came out of the kitchen quickly and at the same time. Atmosphere was relaxed, although the lighting was a little too low. A little pricey, but overall a very nice experience.

Always a wonderful meal and wonderful experience. The wine list is incomparable in the Flagstaff area. The only things they could consider to enhance the dining experience is a wilted spinach salad with hot bacon dressing prepared tableside and tournedos prepared tableside. This would fit nicely with their Bananas Foster prepared tableside. How about flaming Viennese coffee with dessert? Nai is the best server in the Flagstaff region. We very much look forward to seeing him every time we dine here.

The Service was immaculate, the food and view was beyond what I’ve ever experienced at any restaurant ever the feng shui entirely made the experience worth the visit, and our server gave me and my wife two pieces of a delicious chocolate treats even though we were practically full from our meals, we were glad we didn’t leave this place without having a taste of something off their desert menu Thank You, Differente Ponte of View.
