My only gripe about the dinner was the service. We waited about 20 minutes before being asked if we wanted any drinks. There some other small things, but I will say the staff were friendly and polite. The food was great and fairly priced given the location. Very lively atmosphere, without being too loud. I'd go back again.

Good place to meet friends but the bar service was slow, and it wasn't possible to start a tab at the bar, which was annoying. Food is generally good but my dish (sea bream) didn't give me much for my money

The Benugo at the BFI doesn't seem fit any role, it is more than a bar but less than a resturaunt while charging resturaunt prices and serving resturaunt meals. On the first floor of the BFI South Bank building, a dark wood and low lighting carpeted bar area sits at the back with tables for food spreading further out onto th concerete floor with a typical bench on one side plastic chair on the other arrangement. Food was good, good portion size, service wasn't with a smile.

A nice bar. Our experience started well. We ate and then moved to the bar. The bill for our drinks arrived and when we politely queried it the bar tender launched into a tirade about how it was not his fault. So a nice place to go as long as you don't get him for bar service. Rest of the team and food were good. But blighted by the experience we had at the end.

We did have a pre-theatre dinner menu, but really it was expensive so didn't represent good value for money. Service and setting really good though.

Great "non outside" location close to Southbank, right at BFI, friendly and knowledgeable service. Yummy dishes.

Tiny starter, undressed salad of beanshoots, grated carrot and crispy duck does not constitute a man course. Overpriced and underwhelmed. Service was good though.
