   Delicious food and great service! My family and I had a wonderful time seated at a table in the back area of the restaurant. Our chef Adrian was very entertaining and prepared our food to our liking.

   There is no point having reservations as they would make you wait for more than an hour even if you go with reservation. The service is also not so good.

   Christmas eve is not the night to go to Benihana. We had a reservation for 7:45 and weren't seated until 8:50. The lounge was packed and when we snagged a table, it was filled with empty glasses/dishes from the previous people. No one cleaned it off, so my husband ended up moving the dishes to the bar counter himself. My 4 and 8 year old were exhausted since we didn't get out of there until almost 11:00! The manager explained dining guests were staying longer than usual and they were trying their best. I'm sure the staff was trying their best. The server we had was attentive enough, and the chef was great, but overall, the experience was probably the worst we had at a Benihana, and we've been to many Benihanas. They served my parents hot tea in a styrofoam to-go cup because they were out of mugs. Kind of ridiculous.

   They were running 1 hour behind with reservations. The place was packed and noise level high. Food, server, and Chef Ivan were amazing. Once we were seated after an hour with reservation, it was great.

   The meal was fantastic and our chef was amazing! We were greeted by the manager and our waitress was constantly checking on us for drinks and needs. The only reason for 4/5 stars was once our “entire party” checked in, our wait was 40 minutes. Very overbooked and people were crammed in the waiting area and bar. Reservations should be limited (we did ours 6 weeks prior)

    Had reservations at 7:30pm showed up 5 minutes before didn’t get seated until 8:30pm no drinks for another 30 minutes so it’s 9pm at that time they finally take our order we didn’t start eating until 9:45pm, waiters were arguing the whole time because we were seated with a big party which took up both sides but they were fighting who would get the tips, the plates and forks were disgustingly dirty with food on them still from previous people who ate on them they don’t wash anything correctly even the alcohol cups we got had something disgusting fall in it from the vent above us overall horrible experience and service here the Newport Beach and Ontario Benihana is a lot better never going to the Anaheim one again
