   Food was excellent! Chef was great! Would definitely recommend! The only reason I wouldn’t give 5 stars is some of the issues with communication. My daughter never received her steamed rice and my husband asked for no mushrooms and had mushrooms put on his plate without asking first.

   had a reservation at 8pm, waited 1 hour from reservation time to be seated, waited another hour to order, this location always over books I will never come to this location again. they were seating walk ins before people who had reservations. horrible experience. food is always good but this location sucks. every time i come to this location its the same thing. go to downey its better

   With reservations and arriving early we still waited an additional 45 minutes. We were told we were next several times then proceeded to take other guests ahead of us, with no explanation as to why when asked why.

   We made reservations in advanced and when we arrived they sat us down at the sushi side where there was no performance. We don’t get a show for a birthday we were celebrating, no picture, no ice cream. Very bad service

   Incredible birthday dinner I order the Surf side the Seafood was so fresh and tender loved every bite.

   Our favorite place! We meet there as a halfway spot between LA and San Diego. Fun happy hard working staff and very entertaining chefs!

    We had a really disappointing experience. Despite having an 8:15 PM reservation for my kid’s birthday, we weren’t served until after 10 PM. It was a long wait, and by the time the food was ready the kids at our table were already falling asleep and didn’t even get to enjoy dinner. To make matters worse, the hibachi chef didn’t seem very friendly or engaging. We were seated with another family, but the chef only interacted with them and ignored our side of the table. The management really needs to address these issues—it’s not what you’d expect when planning a special celebration.
