Beaver Creek Chophouse
Good service and great food. A little on the noisey side.
Worst dining experience in 6 years of visiting Beaver Creek. The restaurant was understaffed, the waitstaff was inattentive and indifferent. My son had a steak that he enjoyed, however otherwise all of the food was mediocre at best. The bar music was too loud, so that diners had to yell to carry on conversations. The end result was an e extremely loud restaurant. The menu is massively overpriced, especially with such poor quality food. The microscopic crabcakes didn't even taste fresh at $20. All in all, it was a very disappointing experience after reading the attractive ads the restaurant puts out in local publications. Given the excellent dining choices in Beaver Creek, I don't know how this place is still in business. On top of it all, the staff just didn't seem to care.
Amazing as always! Top notch service and great food!
The food at the chophouse is always consistent the service is outstanding. The location makes for a great view of the ski slopes and crowds !
Family dinner, so 8 of us (half kiddos, 8-11) and the service couldn’t have been better. Food was fabulous. Ambiance always great. We enjoy it every year. It’s definitely a “dining experience”, so consider this from a value perspective, but highly recommend!
We love to come see Dan, the magician. He is great. Food is pretty good. Service is consistently slow. Our server was nice but way too sloooooow.
We had dinner here before a concert. They seemed a bit short staffed as our server just covered the basics. Salad was great....pear and cheese. Kobe burger was just ok.
Service was unprofessional, they brought starters and entrees all together
The food was surpassingly delicious. The service was a little slow but the staff was really friendly.
Amazing food! Had an issue with timeliness of service, so they quickly relocated us and we had a great rest of our evening. Would strongly recommend!
We were sat in the bar area which was super loud. We asked to be moved which was excellent because we could barely hear ourselves think. The menu was ok. Nothing over the top. Service was poor at best. Overall not worth the expensive price tag.
Took 2.5 hours to have a normal dinner. Restaurant was busy but not over the top.
Magician by table was great!
We enjoyed the lobster Mac and cheese as an appetizer, Kobe steak, and Colorado lamb chops! Paired with a red wine by the glass from a great wine list. The manager even brought another lamb chop because he said the two looked small (looked ok to me!). It has been awhile since a manager initiated service like that!
Great location. The staff is amazing. Very professional, kind and helpful. The food is good and we are looking forward to our next visit to Beaver Creek Chophouse
After spending 5 days in beaver creek this was by far the best restaurant. The spicy bacon was awesome, the braised rib tacos were phenomenal and the bone in ribeye was top notch. Highly recommend!!
I have eaten at this restaurant for the past 15 years. Through a couple of changes in ownership, the Chophouse has always been consistent. Some years better than others but always good. My family enjoys the magician who always amazes as well as the steaks.
Really enjoyed dining here a couple of times while in Beaver Creek. Kids enjoyed too.
Very disappointing. We waited 45 minutes for appetizers and my husband’s onion soup was luke warm. My husband’s steak was served at room temp. Don’t charge $59 for a steak id you can’t serve it hot.
45 minutes to get the food, hamburger was completely burned. Crabe cake ridiculously small and cold.
Came here 2008 - 2010, 3 years in a row and was excellent. Returned in 2020 and the quality has really dropped off. Menu is very expensive and food not worth the value.
Food was delicious. Service was good.
Second visit and we will be back. We will recommend to everyone.
Hostess was not friendly. Girl sat us at the a table right next to the door, we asked to move and she sat us at a table next to the kitchen after we walked by a table for 2 in the middle of the restaurant. She told us the table was reserved. I explained that we made our reservation 4 weeks ago and had a reservation as well. All three times she spoke to either the hostess or some guy standing off to the side who looked like he just got off the slopes. This was our second visit on Valentine’s Day, the first was a great experience. Not this time, the place is now extremely noisy and it appeared that the restaurant was only about making money not providing an experience equal the the pricy menu. Food was great, but I’m not sure we will be back. The drink menu showed a price of $11 for Ketal 1 Vodka, we were billed $14 and my wife’s Citron was not Kidel 1. We ordered asparagus as a side, our waitress asked if we wanted it wrapped in bacon as the menu states and we said no. However, we were still billed $14. One would assume the price would be less. Early on we asked for bread only to wait 10 minutes having to ask the waitress again. When you are charging high prices one would expect better.
Great service and food. The magician came to our table and made my 5yo’s night, he loved all the tricks.
Best king crab ever!
Always a great slopeside evening.
I brought a party of 8. it took about 10 minutes after first ordered to receive our drink. They said there were only 2 Bartenders on duty. 4 of our steaks came over cooked. we sent 2 back. I only finished half my steak and went to the bathroom. I came back and asked the waitress if I could have the left over steak to go. she went to try to retrieve it but it had be thrown out. Vegetable potions were very small when we were told they were family style portions. I live in Bachelor Gulch and most likely will not bring my guests there again.
The service was above and beyond. All 4 of us ordered something different and we loved the presentation and the food was prepared perfectly. 5 Stars for sure!
Ordered the French onion soup. One of the wait staff didn’t know which table to give it to so it sat on the bar near me for 10 minutes before our waiter came by. Luckily he got me a new one. He did- it was extremely mediocre and very lukewarm. Ordered the filet medium rare. It was semi-flavorful and raw in the middle. Sent 1/2 of it back to get cooked and it was brought back crispy and beyond well done. Waiter was nice. And the manager comped us two mediocre desserts. For well over $100/person this meal should’ve been amazing. Also I never write reviews, so this was a particularly disappointing experience that prompted me to write this.
The slow cooked pork shank was amazing and the craft cocktails delicious.
Excellent food and service! We went back a second time while staying in Beaver Creek
Really great, healthy food, and wonderful service. The noise was pretty loud, though.
Delightful food - so tasty and great portion size. Service was superb
Wonderful for dining with children!
The crab cake was smaller than a silver dollar. The Martini was good.
Steak and trout were very good. The brussel sprouts with the fish were boiled too long and were mushy. Great atmosphere.
Comida y ambiente excelente! Personal muy amable
