Beaver Creek Chophouse
Fantastic filet dinners with a fantastic salad, Yukon gold mashed potatoes, bacon wrapped asparagus and creme brûlée. We had a terrific server named Matt. He was very attentive and did a great job making sure two people in our party had gluten free meals. We will definitely come back the next time we are in town.
Very good food& friendly top notch service
great restaurant with a beautiful view. Lots of outdoor seating.
This restaurant is completely overpriced and the steak is potentially average for an Outback Steak house restaurant. The server was completely annoying and he visited us way too often for us to enjoy each other's company on our special night out. We were celebrating a special occasion and the worst part of our special day was the waste of money, annoying and "self-important" server, and lack of quality experience at this restaurant.
Our waitress was one of the best we’ve had in a long time.
We had a great time with beautiful scenery and good food!
The food is really good. The outside patio is a perfect place to dine. Service was exceptional.
Had a nice dinner. Kitchen totally screwed up and brought all food out At once. So not very well paced and then, couldn’t eat our oysters bc now the (very expensive) steaks would go cold.
They should have comped the oysters given we only ate about 1/2 of them. What a waste.
Service was great. Outside view was beautiful. Outside seating for a high end restaurant was quite poor. Seats and table were just steel seating. Food was suboptimal. We had the 20 oz rib eye that was mostly fat. The asparagus wrapped with bacon was stringy and overcooked. The best part of the meal was the French onion soup. Definitely would not return
Everything was perfect!
What a wonderful experience. Great food and service. Hugh in the wine mark-up though.
Overpriced for what you get. Steak grade is same as safeway grocery.
Best burger of the trip! Also delicious peach salad and mountain spritzer!!
For the price of the food, I would expect a higher level of service. The steaks were ordered medium but served rare. The salmon was ordered medium and served well done. The salmon was also served with bacon, which was not stated on the menu and would be a problem for pescatarians. There was no ambiance and the music played was classic rock guitar. Not exactly what I was expecting for a steakhouse.
Amazing service and the food was absolutely delicious!!
Second time eating at a Chophouse location (once in Vail and once in Beaver Creek), we will not go back. Selection of food was poor, we both had steaks that were over cooked and the salad was not good. We would have preferred McDonalds. This was our most expensive meal in Beaver Creek and our worst.
Awesome place for lunch and dinner!
We came one of the first open weekends, since stay at home orders. The food trumped any poor service. Cons, drinks came after apps were provided, we had to ask for silverware, ask for small app plates, ask for refills, ask for a missing food item and ask for steak knives. Pro, beautiful view, ambiance and food. Everyone is adjusting and I know they will get better at the new normal with time.
This was my worst dining experience in over 15 years. The service by our waiter was inattentive and unapologetic. Twelve minutes after being seated, our waiter had yet to approach our table and take our drink orders. I then asked Kristi, the hostess, to tell our waiter to come to our table. We were a party of two. She did right away but it was another five minutes before our waiter arrive. That was the first of four times he approached our table in one hour twenty minutes. He was rarely circulating among his tables unlike the other three waiters. I had to flag him down to refresh my drink which was long empty. It was 40 minutes after ordering before my peach salad arrived. After 20 more minutes our entrees had not arrived. By this time we decided we wanted to go home. I again flagged down our waiter. I asked if our entrees were ready and, if so, we wanted them to go. He said they were being boxed up. That wasn’t true. Six minutes later, we had our food for takeout. Not once did our waiter apologize for the poor service. Another waiter did apologize while we waited for our takeout. Kristi was extremely pleasant and attentive. It was evident several parties shared our experience and she worked hard to satisfy everyone. That would be impossible because it was obvious they were having systemic problems both in the front and back of the house.
Our food was a mixed bag. My pork shank with mashed potatoes and asparagus was moist and flavorful. My wife’s wedge with Kobe flank state also was pretty good. She was disappointed they failed to include her blue cheese dressing. Her French fries were cold and stiff. Heating them in the oven couldn’t save them.
Our experience was so poor we will not give BCC another chance.
Good service and great food. A little on the noisey side.
Worst dining experience in 6 years of visiting Beaver Creek. The restaurant was understaffed, the waitstaff was inattentive and indifferent. My son had a steak that he enjoyed, however otherwise all of the food was mediocre at best. The bar music was too loud, so that diners had to yell to carry on conversations. The end result was an e extremely loud restaurant. The menu is massively overpriced, especially with such poor quality food. The microscopic crabcakes didn't even taste fresh at $20. All in all, it was a very disappointing experience after reading the attractive ads the restaurant puts out in local publications. Given the excellent dining choices in Beaver Creek, I don't know how this place is still in business. On top of it all, the staff just didn't seem to care.
Amazing as always! Top notch service and great food!
The food at the chophouse is always consistent the service is outstanding. The location makes for a great view of the ski slopes and crowds !
Family dinner, so 8 of us (half kiddos, 8-11) and the service couldn’t have been better. Food was fabulous. Ambiance always great. We enjoy it every year. It’s definitely a “dining experience”, so consider this from a value perspective, but highly recommend!
We love to come see Dan, the magician. He is great. Food is pretty good. Service is consistently slow. Our server was nice but way too sloooooow.
We had dinner here before a concert. They seemed a bit short staffed as our server just covered the basics. Salad was great....pear and cheese. Kobe burger was just ok.
Service was unprofessional, they brought starters and entrees all together
The food was surpassingly delicious. The service was a little slow but the staff was really friendly.
Amazing food! Had an issue with timeliness of service, so they quickly relocated us and we had a great rest of our evening. Would strongly recommend!
We were sat in the bar area which was super loud. We asked to be moved which was excellent because we could barely hear ourselves think. The menu was ok. Nothing over the top. Service was poor at best. Overall not worth the expensive price tag.
Took 2.5 hours to have a normal dinner. Restaurant was busy but not over the top.
Magician by table was great!
We enjoyed the lobster Mac and cheese as an appetizer, Kobe steak, and Colorado lamb chops! Paired with a red wine by the glass from a great wine list. The manager even brought another lamb chop because he said the two looked small (looked ok to me!). It has been awhile since a manager initiated service like that!
Great location. The staff is amazing. Very professional, kind and helpful. The food is good and we are looking forward to our next visit to Beaver Creek Chophouse
After spending 5 days in beaver creek this was by far the best restaurant. The spicy bacon was awesome, the braised rib tacos were phenomenal and the bone in ribeye was top notch. Highly recommend!!
I have eaten at this restaurant for the past 15 years. Through a couple of changes in ownership, the Chophouse has always been consistent. Some years better than others but always good. My family enjoys the magician who always amazes as well as the steaks.
Really enjoyed dining here a couple of times while in Beaver Creek. Kids enjoyed too.
Very disappointing. We waited 45 minutes for appetizers and my husband’s onion soup was luke warm. My husband’s steak was served at room temp. Don’t charge $59 for a steak id you can’t serve it hot.
45 minutes to get the food, hamburger was completely burned. Crabe cake ridiculously small and cold.
Came here 2008 - 2010, 3 years in a row and was excellent. Returned in 2020 and the quality has really dropped off. Menu is very expensive and food not worth the value.
