The food was wonderful. Loved the ambiance and our server was very attentive.
Great service, great food. It was crowded for Tuesday and therefore louder than we had expected, but I would definitely recommend going for a date night or with a small group.
The meals that we've had at B&W have been uneven: while the service, drinks and desserts are unfailingly excellent, it's happened each time that one of our entrées has come out delicious, interesting and flavorful, while the other has been bland, boring and less thoughtfully executed. So much of the experience is so good; it's a pity that anything on the menu should be lacking in attention.
The restaurant looked amazing and the staff was friendly and inviting. Our pork dish was very overcooked and my pasta was a bit bland. I would say that the food could be a little bit better for the prices they charge.
Service and food were amazing! They even included a special little touch for our special occasion! Would highly recommend!
Went with my dad. It used to be our favorite restaurant, but while the atmosphere is still great, the food has gone down hill a little bit. Still great, just not the amazing dishes we are used to having. They could also use a bit of a menu upgrade.
This is a nice place to hangout with friends and catch up, or for a nice date night offering intimate settings where you can talk without hearing your neighbors conversation. The food is worth maybe half the price they charge. Mostly the menu is fancy slices of veggies or cuts of cheese and meats. Overall 4 star experience because the ambience is awesome. The service is okay, most of the servers and host staff are petty and seem annoyed you’re even there to order food. I would return with guests to Denver, but we’d probably eat beforehand at somewhere else and enjoy dessert or drinks only.
Food was terrible, choices were few and the servings were tiny. Told everyone the decor us awesome but just get a drink cause dining is bad
Brought my boyfriend here for a date. The service was spot on. Our server made great recommendations and did not rush us through anything, letting us take our time and enjoy our time there (thank you, Scarlett! Five stars!). The food was delicious (another five stars!). My boyfriend is a cook at a local restaurant that also serves escargot, and after having it at his work, decided he didn't like escargot. We ordered it here and he has changed his mind about escargot; definitely liked it. The only disappointment was in the cocktails: they were well made and delicious, but we ordered three cocktails served up, and the bartender didn't bother to double strain them, so we had pieces of ice floating in our drink; he also neglected to add garnishes to the Sidecar and The Last Word that we ordered, so the drink presentation and flavor were both negatively affected. Overall, a wonderful experience. Wanted to give 4.5-4.75 stars (not a perfect five due to the lack of attention to detail with the cocktails), but that's not an option for Open Table.
Very cool atmosphere! Took friends from out of town and everyone loved it. Be sure to check out the bathroom sinks :P
Everything was wonderful, we enjoyed ourselves very much. It is a great romantic spot. Every detail was fantastic! Thank you for a great evening!
Positive dining experience overall. Most of wait staff very good except for one who was not very present. Playing loud rock music that was not conducive to pleasant Sunday brunch.
We celebrated our engagement and this was well worth the reservation. Everything was perfect, starting with a congratulations card. The private room in the basement is definitely something to check out for a party.
I have to stick to a very restrictive diet, which makes it really tricky to find good food at restaurants. When I made the reservation on Open Table, I left a note with the three main things I can't eat that tend to hide in menu items (like garlic). I was worried that the staff would be put off, but everyone was incredibly friendly, patient, and accommodating. When I arrived, the host mentioned that she had seen the note and would let our server know. The server then talked to the chef, who went through the entire menu and marked the things that I could eat and made note of how they could modify a couple of the dishes for me. It was amazing service, and I was very grateful. They did an awesome job.
Such a great spot! Have been twice for dinner. Can’t wait to try brunch. Always have great service. Staff is always helpful even when trying to figure out how to use the sinks to wash your hands lol. Wonderful food and drinks.
Probably the most beautiful restaurant I’ve ever seen! Felt like you were in a fairy tale! Highly recommend!!
Fantastic atmosphere and great service! Definitely try the desserts!
The food was excellent. Loved the beignet appetizers. The bouillabaisse was very tasty not much fish or shellfish in it. Expected a lot more.
Beautiful space. Ask to sit at a booth near the bar in order to enjoy the privacy of the gauzy white curtains. Wonderfully quiet on a Sunday night at 7:30. Try the Kittens Mittens cocktail if you like citrus or ginger. For entrees, we enjoyed the Duck Confit (salty but delicious) and Zataar Lamb (relatively large portion for this type of restaurant). Don’t miss the bathroom and especially the sink...
I am never dissatisfied with my experiences at Beatrice and Woodsley. The food is spectacular, the wine list is incomparable, and the service is top notch.
We've been here before for drinks and fell in love with the atmosphere. Dinner was fantastic! Anna was the perfect server; knowledgeable, energetic and fun. Celebrating our 31st anniversary here could not have been better.
Everything was perfect! Food, service, atmosphere. One of my favorite restaurant experiences ever.
We recently celebrated my wife’s birthday at B&W. We brought both our kids (4yo & 10mo) and even though they did not have high chairs, they put us in a table that accommodated our stroller. The food was phenomenal and the same could be said about their service. The story of B&W is quite unique so encourage you to ask the staff about it. This is a great restaurant and we look forward to dining again in the future.
Everything was fine just not memorable.
This is a very unique restaurant. The food is good and it is fun place to go.
I liked my food but my dad hated the lamb and said it was the worst he had ever had. It was a bummer because that was the most expensive thing on the menu.
Our table was romantic, the food was fantastic and the service was absolutely awesome! Our servers were very thoughtful and considerate, checked in at just the right times and timed the delivery of each course to meet the pace of our conversation. What a wonderful feeling to not be rushed and to feel supported and in sync with the staff - it created an absolutely comfortable environment for a perfect romantic date!
Great night out with friends! Definitely recommend.
Waitress was a jerk acted like we where bothering her by asking her to get refil on water or coffee
Great restaurant and decor, fun place to get a romantic date in or celebrate an occasion! Staff was great and friendly and the food is yummy.
Restaurant was adorable, and made me feel like I was in a magical forest. Service was spectacular and my friend has several dietary restrictions and the waitress wrote on the menu exactly everything she could eat and where they could make modifications. Food and drinks were so delicious, and I typically am not a fan of brunch food but I was impressed. Overall would recommend to anyone in the area and/or tourists.
The food portions were on the smaller side and not all that flavorful. The design of the place is extremely unique.
Food and Service was outstanding. Definitely revisiting for another special occasion, as well as recommending to my friends.
I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and it was an amazing evening. The wine and cocktails were great and not overpriced. Great portions for a three course meal. Highly recommend the cheese board, bouillabaisse, short rib and especially the black velvet cake. Fingers crossed he takes me here for my birthday!
Magical! I am dreaming about the budino days later
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic. It wasn’t much food for what you pay but the quality was exceptional.
I’ve always thought this place to be charming and a great experience. Our service was poor, the server was aloof and inattentive and the food was bland and flavorless. First bad experience and bad enough I would reconsider not returning.
Excellent and food and service. Unique atmosphere.
It is The best best Break fast I ever had in my life. Please please go here.....it is the best.
