the staff was very patient with our somewhat loud group of ladies and we very much enjoyed our evening!
Excellent food and ambiance! Cocktails are also delicious. Suggest making reservations and expect a leisurely experience.
Wonderful atmosphere and the food to match. We enjoyed the shared drink option and our meals were fantastic.
Unique dining experience. Wonderful atmosphere, very unique. Food was ok, I would actually rate the food a 2.5 out of 5.
We went for Valentine’s Day. While the food was great, slightly disappointed they would not substitute out the appetizer options on the pre-fixe meal, as I’m highly allergic to oysters. We also had a reservation at 7:30 and were not seated till 8:30.
This place is delicious!
The food was fine, but nothing special. We were there for brunch, I had the hash, and it was very bland. I was disappointed after hearing great things about this restaurant for years. Our server was very nice, competent, and the decor is a treat. We were there after the lunch rush and it was pretty empty, so nice and quiet.
No joke the atmosphere is whimsical and very unique! Great service, delicious food and great cute spot for brunch! Amazing experience I loved brunch here!
Love this place. Fun atmosphere and yummy eclectic food.
Very cool place!!
Amazing, that’s all there is to say
Great restaurant with great food and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this to others.
Absolutely loved our evening here! It was the perfect cozy atmosphere for a date night. The staff was wonderful (friendly, knowledgable and efficient). The food had great presentation, tasted amazing and they were very cognizant of dietary restrictions. I was so very impressed!!
The hostess was great as was our server and the food was amazing.
Sorry to have to write about this experience since I have had so many other wonderful experiences at this restaurant. My party of four went here for brunch. We all only ordered the French onion soup. After waiting for forty minutes, I inquired about the food which arrived five minutes later. The barely lukewarm soup arrived in a very large soup bowl, consisted of less than half a cup and was primarily onions.
Since I've been here numerous times, I was so very disappointed.
Staff and service is not at all to the level of nice restaurants. Poor explanation of dishes, zero interest in our experience. Went to celebrate with friends and we felt that were annoying the staff the whole time. Good food, just need help with customer experience if they want to be a nice restaurant.
This is a lovely and whimsical restaurant and such a great find in Denver. Brunch was delicious with one of the more creative menus I've seen in the city. And I still can't get over the decor! Make sure to try the crawfish beignets!
The service lacked a bit today, but I know it’s usually really good. The monkey brains appetizer for brunch is amazing. Cocktails are all great as usual. The entrees weren’t amazing, but good.
Waitied 25 minutes for drinks. Waited over an hour for food. Nobody came to our table to apologize. We had to flag them down and the excuse was “we have three other tables.” What, you usually only have one table at a time? Would be amazed to see what happens when the place is full. Poached eggs weren’t “poached.” My friend ordered the drink for “three” to herself and didn’t get a buzz. Food was good but not Top 10 Brunch in Denver. Ambiance is great. Service was ehhh. If you go, sit at the bar and Drew will take care of you.
staff and food were amazing, great atmosphere for my wife's birthday.
Overall it’s a mediocre attempt at finer dining. We were told a table was finishing up dessert and then when I inquired about our table thirty minutes after the reservation time, a longer wait was communicated. I do appreciate them buying us a bottle of wine but they should have communicated the length of wait at the start of the encounter. I don’t go to restaurants to get free items. I shouldn’t have had to seek out support when it was obvious a wait was going to happen. Food was okay. Highlights were the mushroom appetizer and dessert. Entrees were fair. There are other comparable restaurants in Denver with the same price points for food and wine that have a better overall experience and quality of food to offer. Outside of the complete lack of communication with the wait and the fact I had to address it, the bartender and server provided great service and the hostess was very pleasant. Not a bad experience, I’m just not eager to return with so many other options in Denver.
We went for Brunch and my friends loved their food...me not so much (wouldn't order the hash again). the crawfish beignets were really good.
Our server was exceptional, attentive, gave us time...checked on us. Great!
It was a little hard to hear as we were sitting by the bar and some of the bar guests had many cocktails and were pretty loud.
Love the ambiance.
Very fun and interesting decor, like eating in an aspen grove in the mountains. The food was well presented and explained by our server. She was very on top of it and did a great job timing the food and drinks over multiple courses and an addition to our party.
Love love LOVE the ambiance! The food is delicious. I can never get enough of the crawfish beignets. They are a MUST have.
Cocktails and bartender expertise were exceptional.
Restaurant interior/ambiance was beautifully interesting and memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed this aspect of it.
Appetizer was delicious (savory beignets), but the entrees were really underwhelming. The duck was plain and tough and the cod was too salty.
We will definitely be back for cocktails and appetizers, but would not return for dinner.
We’ve come here several times for brunch. The food is good, the ambiance is fantastic, and the atmosphere is fun and lively. I really wish they had some more options for breakfast. Sometimes you just want some eggs and bacon and that’s not even an option. The food made all three of us feel very sick afterwards, so that kind of sucked. I think it’s a great spot, but I think they could do a little more to make breakfast and brunch a little less complicated and easier on the stomach. Also, the coffee is pretty bad for a nice place like this.
Great! Well done
Beautiful restaurant, awesome food, will absolutely be going back.
Overly salty food. Attempts at creativity that just doesn’t compliment. Wine list is trying but can’t hit the mark
I’d give 10 stars if I could! You made a birthday celebration extra special. My friends and I are still talking about our amazing experience several days ago. Food was Devine, cocktails were fabulous and your team made it an unforgettable outing for us. Thank you!
I have been for dinner a couple of times but brunch was a real treat! The food was wonderful and it was such a lovely place to catch up with my friend.
Incredible ambiance. Great for date nights. Very creative dishes and great presentations
Got a girlfriend out of this place would recommend
pricey but good
Nothing remarkable about the place. Cozy setting for a date, but not so for a family group. Food is good, but expensive. Also, the menu choices are not many, so be sure to check it out. Loved the tagged wine. A great server as well. Although not the fault of the restaurant, we had to walk along the street with unpleasant sights both coming and going. A slight taint to the occasion.
Went for brunch and the Bloody Mary was unique. Food interesting as is the physical space.
I've been here for both dinner and brunch, most recently the latter. Brunch was definitely a quieter crowd as you would expect, for dinner I would rate the noise level as more moderate. It was a great atmosphere for both. This is one of the more uniquely decorated restaurants in town IMO, think enchanted forest, but in a very stylistic way. Lots of natural wood features. It's a great date spot. The tables for two are side by side seating, so it's very intimate. The dining room also features a large picturesque bar with ample seating.
Everyone usually comments about the washrooms and they are indeed very unique. The food is excellent, on my most recent trip for brunch our table had a shrimp and grits entree and an asparagus benedict. Both were outstanding. We also had monkey bread and grandma's biscuits, both delicious. Craft brewed kombacha is available, as well as a variety of mimosas and hand crafted cocktails and wine for brunch. All in all the restaurant worked well for me on both a date night as well as a birthday brunch with 2 couples. I will be definitely be returning in the future.
The ambiance and presentation of food was great, but the food quality/ taste was average. The combinations didn’t seem to compliment each other. Overall, there are better restaurants in Denver, but it is a cute cozy spot for a date night.
We were looking for someplace a little more unique for brunch with a friend. In my experience, restaurants that focus on unique ambiance often are lacking in food (i.e. they're fine, but not stellar). In this case, the restaurant not only delivered on the uniqueness (use the bathrooms!), but the food was seriously delicious. And it wasn't just the dishes, the coffee was great, and the orange juice was as good as anything I've had. I try not to go back to restaurants because there's so much out there to explore, but this makes the short list of places I'll come back to! I feel like its hard to find restaurants that appeal to foodies and non-foodies alike, and I think that this is it.
Service impeccable. Scenery decor amazing. Food awful. I’m so sorry to say this. Please get a new chef. Please get better ingredients and a better menu. You will have it all if you can make the food as perfect as everything else.
