Kona Lobster Chowder
nueske bacon, potatoes, corn
Maine Lobster Tail
Food quality was subpar. Both dishes were dry and made it hard to consume. All other items were tasteless and could of went to restaurant half the price with better quality food. Sorely disappointed for the price.
My steak was very chewy And fatty. My lobster tail was tiny, The shrimp cocktail is bigger than my lobster tail. The dessert was very generic. The best part of the meal was the shrimp and the bread. $300 for a very dissatisfied meal
Loved the prefix menu. Live music was a bit too much but had a fantastic time and the wait staff was superb.
New York steak was tender and absolutely delicious. The view was breathtaking. Our waiter was very attentive and service was great!
It is a beautiful restaurant with veranda dining. The food was delicious. We were not aware that at this time you had to choose between a 3 or 4 course price fix menu. We did the 3, but certainly didn’t anticipate spending that much on dining there. I am not disappointed that we did. However, for the money, the service was lacking in attentiveness. This would have been more memorable and a fine dining experience with better service. I would go back since it checked all the other boxes and perhaps the lacking In service was a one off.
Everything was great! It was a pre fix menu, wish they had a fish entree to choose from but our other choices turned out great. The view & live music is always a plus!
Truly romantic spot! Even though you are in the middle of Waikiki this truly feels like a secluded and romantic spot. You sit outside the famous Moana Surfrider hotel and overlook the pool and the ocean. We were actually married on the grounds 18 years ago and we were here for our anniversary, and it still felt magical. We were even lucky enough to witness a couple nearby get engaged! The food was incredibly high quality. The desserts were good (but not great) but were the perfect end to a perfect dinner.
They advertised their fish dish to have mushrooms. It had one half of one mushroom. The fish and the Hong Kong sauce were good. We decided the restaurant must have been very short on mushrooms since the omelet I ordered their in the morning was also supposed to have mushrooms and it had none!
Really amazing place to eat - watched the sunset, delicious food and exceptional service.
Great service, good food and it's on the beach.
More than a fixed price menu should be offered.
Thick pork chop should be able to be ordered medium rare.
The prix fixe dinner had awesome options for each course. Our server, Nathan, was friendly and attentive! The food was high quality, perfectly prepared and delicious! Because of our anniversary, they sat as oceanside in the back corner of the veranda, which made it very romantic and private!
Our reservation was at 6.30, we arrived a little early and were seated. The menu right now is a pre-fix 3 or 4 course dinner. We had the 3 course.
We have been here before and knew what to expect with food, which was wonderful, the service was wonderful. But, with it being pre-fix, there was no wait between courses, you finish one and the next is right there.
We were back at our hotel, right across the street, an hour later.
Although the food was good you could not savor and enjoy each course as you were on to the next.
Loved the location and the ambiance. Price fixed menu was good but not worth 97$ per person
Wonderful dinner and service. The table location in front of that beautiful banyan tree with ocean in background is fantastic. We loved it.
A wonderful meal, the live music and sunset view was fantastic, on the expensive side for me, but I would do it again for a special occasion. Make sure you book your dinner so you can see that sunset
The food was great! The service was amazing! Had a great seat to see the sunset. Awesome experience ! Will be back !
Service was outstanding (!!) and so was the location, but food was only average for the price. Had better food in other restaurants on the island.
We have been here many times in the past but this experience will be our last. The service was not nearly the level it used to be. We have always felt extremely pampered and worth every penny. There is currently only a prix fix menu but they don’t tell you that when you make reservations. Very few choices on the menu and the meal was not good enough to be $100 per person. The setting is beautiful but so are many other places along the beach. Very disappointing 😞
Ambiance was a 5 star! Unfortunately, way over priced for a very dry pork chop. For the amount of money for 2, I expected the food to be incredible. The waiter was kind and friendly, Nathan I believe was his name. Music and plantation vibes were very nice. The food was the issue for us. 😏
This lovely outdoor venue overlooking the water in Waikiki was spoiled by a discourteous and dismissive hostess. After in advance requesting a table on the veranda with a view of the water for our 30th wedding anniversary dinner, the hostess placed us by the bar and next to the service entrance. When we pointed out that we had requested a table on the veranda her reply was "Lots of people make requests". She did eventually seat us at the smallest table in the restaurant next to the waiter's stand. An attentive and knowledgeable waiter could not make up for an over priced fixed price menu with limited choices . Spend your $300 in a better restaurant.
Moana should be embarrassed by what comes out of their kitchen. The Beach House is a beautiful, lovely setting. A 3 course meal for $97.00 is doable. Unfortunately, Moana never got the message that you can’t serve inferior Sysco frozen food and charge $97.00. The food was pure garbage and you do a disservice to your lovely facilities and the other restaurants on Waikiki that try so much harder than you do
Beautiful corner spot outside with good view of live music. Food was a little pricey but it was a prefix and delicious so good for a special occasion. Service was exceptional
Great food. Good service. Only thing I didn’t like was the conflicting noise- one music performer inside, and a different outside. We were located between the two and heard both which was a bit annoying. Oh, and they were out of Grey Goose.
We received wonderful service and had a nice view of the beach. Glad to have celebrated our 3 years anniversary here :)
I thought the service was great. The food had a ton of flavor. I'll definitely be coming back with my family.
Such a charming spot for a date or an anniversary dinner. Beautiful architecture and views over the ocean. Welcoming staff. It was perfect.
The food was not great, dry tasteless
Service was good. My steak came out raw instead of med rare, and my partner had finished eating entirely by the time my steak re-arrived.
It’s nice for sundown, but after sundown it’s just a restaurant in the dark. And suffers from trying to be a fancy restaurant next to the (sometimes raucous) beach bar. It’s a prix fixe now (covid related?) and even tho the food is good, and it’s an expensive place in an expensive food town, it is *NOT WORTH * it.
For $97, there are lots of better places.
Really good place. A little expensive but worth every penny! Will eat there again and again.
Beachhouse was a great spot to visit! The food was amazing but the drinks were TOP notch, we loved all the ones we ordered (it was hard not to order more than one!)
We had a wonderful evening. The meal was delicious and the service was excellent. A truly delightful experience.
Was great. Server seemed overextended.
The seating was done intelligently with our placement on the veranda near other couples, so the noise was perfect for a romantic intimate dinner. The live musician in the courtyard was the perfect background music. Seeing the amount of people at this restaurant one could think that it was a touristy destination with subpar food. Not so here! The PrixFix menu solves that issue providing tasty, high quality food that was presented beautifully in the plated and by the server. We enjoyed the Pho Carpaccio, scallops (yum! And I’m not a fan of scallops), pork chop (husband said it was one of the best he’s ever enjoyed), ribs. Cocktails were a good pour! Worth the $18 each. 3 course Dinner for two w/ 2 drinks $240.
Excellent service and ambiance. Easy to get to and relaxing. Food was good but very pricey.
We really enjoyed the experience. Celebrated our sister’s birthday. Out waiter was wonderful and gave great suggestions and was accommodating for various food allergies. We were seated near the entrance and would have preferred seating closer to the ocean for the view. It’s a beautiful place.
The Wrought Iron chairs were no completely comfortable. There were 2 levels at the outdoor dining area. The chairs on the lower level were the wrought iron and the chairs on the veranda were wicker, the service was quick, very quick but we were not rushed at anytime. The ambiance and the venue were 5+ stars!
Absolutely LOVED my meal here! Did the 4 course prefix: I chose ahi tuna tartare, beet salad, kampachi, and peanut butter cup. The service was OUTSTANDING!!!
