Beachhouse - Moana Surfrider

We were celebrating our honeymoon. Brandon was an excellent server, and recommended the Lobster pasta for my wife, which she absolutely loved. The filet minon was delicious, and the chaser salad was both good and the most interesting one I’ve had.

Hands down one of our favorite places on the island. It’s a “must stop,” any time we come back to Oahu. The atmosphere, the music, the view....all come together harmoniously. The food has always been exquisite and top tier. Thank you for setting the bar!

The food was awesome. View and food amazing. The only draw back was that the waiters and waitress were hard to understand. They need to work on there English skills

The food was good and the sever (as well as his support staff) were very nice and competent, but the wait time for food and drink was long and I have a hard time justifying the cost with the overall experience provided. It was an important occasion for our family and I guess I was looking for a restaurant that would make it more memorable. I wanted to mention it here in hopes that management would take things to the next level in the future. There’s a lot of competition out there and the Moana Surfrider is a special place. Sadly I don’t think I’ll return for a meal, but the mai tais were great and that helped. Aloha nui.

あと、レストランのテーブルにお土産を忘れてしまい、翌日探しに行きましたが、対応も不親切でもちろん、お土産も出てこず。
最高のホテルでのこの対応にもガッカリでした。

Very nice, although definitely on the high side when it comes to price with so many a la carte items.

The location in a historic hotel on the beach couldn’t be better. The pallella was dry. The braised ribs were good as was the lobster soup had by my guests

Dessert was excellent

We arrived a bit early but were immediately seated at a very nice table. Our waiter (Mr. Lee) was very personable as he greeted us, reviewed the menu, and made recommendations. Drinks arrived promptly, and the wait for our meals was not long. At first, Hawaiian music drifted up from the beach bar below. Thereafter, we faintly heard something that sounded like country western which seemed a bit odd for the ambiance. Our meals were delicious. My Kampachi (sp?) fish was recommended by the waiter and did not disappoint! We were dining with relatives from California. Although we just live on the other side of the island, we have rarely dined at Moana. Based on this recent experience, it's on our list for a nice evening out, with or without mainland relatives.

Best outside dining in Waikiki. Service was outstanding and we opted for the tasting menu, 3 courses, which was very enjoyable.

We had a great evening. The food and service were excellent, with a view to die for. We will definitely go again and maybe even stay at the hotel.

I was hopeful given the positive reviews, but it did not live up to the expensive price tag. Over 300.00 for the two of us. We had the prix fixe meal and it was not very good the lobster we had to send back because it was raw. Our server was very friendly but had too many tables and therefore was not around much. The dessert was not good at all. I’m sorry to leave such a poor review. I will say it was a beautiful restaurant.

We have been here several times and not a single time did we not say the food was impeccable and the service as well. Truly a professional and very charismatic staff. Beautiful views too it off for an unforgettable experience here. Thank you so much.

Amazing - Veranda porch view a must

Very good food and atmosphere!

Nothing worked well for us. No parking at hotel.
Food was fair at best with one dish being rejected. Surprised given the prices. Music was so loud that we couldn't talk. Think that they are getting by with their beach location. You should skip this one.

I love this restaurant. It's beautiful restaurant and great for family dinner or romatic dinner date.
I went there around 6:00pm on New Year's day with my family. It was new year's day so restaurant was pretty busy, but it was nice that they could change our table to outside (they took us indoor first but we wanted outside table) we could sit right away but we had to wait for a while to get food served but we could just have chat, enjoyed music performance and watched sunset while waiting. So it wasn't big deal. People working there was nice and kind. Food was yummy. I loved the atmosphere. Just beautiful. I would love to come back :)

ホテル全体で、とても良い雰囲気なので居心地が良い。音楽や海沿いで波の音が聞こえてきて落ち着きます。
またハワイの訪れた時は行きたいと感じました。

Great overall experience! Service, atmosphere, and good were all phenomenal!

I was really excited to try this restaurant. Was really disappointed that after asking 3 times if we could sit outside they told us they couldn’t accommodate party of 4 and a child in a booster seat. They sat us down in a nice dining area. However they had live music outside so it felt like we were missing out on the ambiance. We settled for inside. However we’re really disappointed by the service. It felt like we were an inconvenience to the waiter and he seemed abrupt. When we asked for separate bills he told us next time to let him know in advance. We were 2 couples how hard is it to divide that bill? Plus if you’re a good waiter and you see to couples maybe it’s good customer service to ask. Rather than us having to tell you. When you’re spending $67 bucks on a steak on a plate with nothing else you expect that steak to be amazing and it was just meh. Very disappointed.

Cozy and romantic

It was alright. I’ve been to a lot of places for my anniversary dinner. I think this was the only restaurant that didn’t acknowledge it even tho it was put into the note.

Business with out of town guests

Service was fantastic. Half of the Scallops came raw, sent back and received perfectly seared order within 5 minutes.

Great atmosphere and good food, but it is expensive. The service could have been better too. We arrived at 5:30 p.m. for dinner and had attentive service when we first arrived and ordered. As the restaurant became busy, the service became slow. Overall, we enjoyed the food and ambiance and had a fun evening.

The food server was attentive and pleasant. The ambiance is lovely, noise level allowed us to converse. I had lobster pasta and was disappointed. It was not very tasty, and it was overpriced. I would recommend the “Beachhouse” as the setting is beautiful.

オアフ島に到着した日のディナーを予約しました。歩いて行ける距離でしたので、ホテルに午後3時にチェックインして、荷物をほどいてベッドに横になり、ついウトウトしてしまい、目が覚めたら、予約時間を45分過ぎてました。慌てて身づくろいをして駆けつけました。それでも予約時間を１時間遅刻してしまいました。混み合っている人気のレストランですから、断られてもしょうがないと思いましたが、2人用のテーブルに、すぐに案内していただきました。そして、いつもと同じ、大変おいしい食事をすばらしい雰囲気の中ですることができました。感謝、感激でした。ハワイの最初の日の最高の思い出になりました。お店のスタッフの皆様にに改めて、お礼を申し上げます。

We used go to Beach House and appreciate to much! But this time didn’t! We had reservation for 8:30 but sit just around 9:30!
I made an outdoor reservation table but didn’t have table there!
The food was well not good! Anyone of us, we were 4 had a nice meal!
I cancelled my others days reservations and go to another restaurants

Lack of customer focus with table checking. Probably due to lack of management and oversight. Lady who checked us in wasn’t friendly. Lot of irate customers around me gay also had bad check in experience. Ruined the vibe. Waited 15 mins beyond our reservation time to be seated and check in process was disorganized. No GM on duty for the restaurant. Only with the Hotel. One item I wanted (onion soup) was out. Other than the first 20 mins of my experience, things improved. Better management and service was required.

My wife and I visit the Beachhouse annually, and unfortunately have had poor experiences the last two times. Last year, her steak was severely undercooked, then overcooked, then cold. This year, my steak was cold and they reheated it, which then overcooked it.

If you charge $60-70 for a steak, it should be cooked correctly the first time....period.

To compound this, our server forgot our drink orders twice that evening and his reasoning was “the holidays are crazy, what can I say”. Again, if my bill is >$300, I expect service to justify it.

It’s a shame they just don’t live up to their price tag.

90 minutes before the food came. and not a hint of an apology.

Food was not great since the last time we ate there. The service was meh and the kids food was better than the adults. Not returning anytime soon.

We enjoyed a delicious Christmas Eve dinner here. They offer a kamaaina discount that we found out about that evening! Food was delicious and service was good but they did overcharge us for a few things and a salad that never arrived.

テラス席じゃなかったのですこし残念でした、料理はスープがすこしさめていたので、料理は今ひとつでした。

put our order in and had drinks, then it took around 20 minutes before the waiter came by and one of the drinks had been empty that long. then the main meal came out about half an hour later. the table behind us got their dinner before us and they were seated way after we were. that was really bad.
