Not worth the $300 it cost for two people. Not even close.
Gorgeous spot with delicious food and great service
The food however, when I booked the reservation weeks prior I made note that it was for an elopement celebration & requested a table closest to the water. I also stopped by in person the day prior and spoke with (hotel) management to make sure my request was seen. The restaurant manager wasn’t in but called later and said they would have our table ready & greet us with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine (not necessary but a kind gesture).
When we arrived at 715 for our reservation, none of the prior arrangements were fulfilled. We actually had to wait at the bar until a table was ready & I watched as another couple was seated in the table I requested. Also, no complimentary beverage upon arrival as previously promised.
Once my husband brought the issue to managements attention, they did come to the table and apologize as well As present drinks & other gift shops items. Again, nice gesture but overall— pretty disappointed with how events unfolded.
Long wait for a table with the reservation. Extremely limited menu. Objectionable noise level.
Excellent all around!
Had a reservation for 7pm. Actually had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated. From that point on everything was wonderful. Drinks and food were delicious. The ambiance was the feel I was looking for. Sitting on the lanai at Moana Surfrider listening to live music while the historic banyan tree was a glow. Finished the evening with an espresso martini. If you are able to splurge then definitely check it out since it will cost you.
Food and service was outstanding. Excellent restaurant for special occasions.
Everything was good, server fantastic!! Food was excellent.
Only thing I didn’t like was the chairs super uncomfortable for fine dinning.
Brendan was fantastic. Have dined there many times before. Will dine there again. On of my favorites.
Don’t like the prefixed menu. This should be disclosed on open table. Don’t like having to pay for desserts when I can’t eat them.
Excellent food & service. The perfect restaurant for the last dinner in Waikiki
The environment was beautiful and very pleasant. The chairs were not the most comfortable. They offered a prefix dinner, a 3 course and a 4 course..the 3 was plenty. The short rib by far out did the steak - what everyone else at my table ordered. For dessert, don't let the cheesecake capture your interests. The chocolate mousse with Ganache was unbelievable and the mango passion mouse was tight up there, you begin with a taste of mango pudding and end with feeling like you're drinking the best mango juice ever.
The view was beautiful, the food was amazing and Tim our server was exceptional. He went above and beyond to make sure our experience was top notch. He even gave us recommendations for places to visit during our trip. We loved everything about the Beachhouse
Terrific setting, great food, perfect Hawaii experience, solid service, more than perfect if staying in hotel. Doesn't get much better than this in Waikiki.
Celebrated my 40th birthday here! Food was amazing! Ambience was 10/10. I thought the quality/value for price was great!
Definitely a place to experience while in Oahu.
The ambience while outdoors was perfect.
Dinner during sunset, live music, excellent food and service.
We have been here before and loved it, but tonight they did not shine. Didn’t mind the prix fix menu but when something didn’t go right with an entree the recovery was less than expected. The Ahi Tar Tar was truly divine.
Great food. Prix fixe mandatory 3 course-$94. A little over priced but tasty.beautiful sunset views.
Beautiful location, menu limited, food average
High end restaurant expensive but the location and service is exceptional. When went it was a limited menu.
The service and ambience at the Beach House is always outstanding. The pre fixe menu leaves much to be desired. The prices in relation to the selection and portion size is disappointing. Overall, if you want to be reminded of being in Hawaii, this is the place to go. The sunsets are beautiful and the illuminated majestic banyan tree are magical. Keeps us coming back every year.
Average meal, basic service, overpriced and overcrowded resort.
The food is amazing with a nice ambiance surrounding us. Beach waves and live band playing Hawaiian style music. Great service as well!
Over cooked my wife’s steak, then gave her one that was very undercooked. Service was nice but for a 250 dollar meal I was let down.
Great experience! Food was great and so was the atmosphere!
Great ambiance in the dining room looking out onto Sunset on Waikiki Beach. Menu is Pris Fixe with a broad range of options. Service was outstanding.
Pri fixe menu at $97 per person or $117 per person was expensive but the table worth ocean view and live music helped
My husband and I were in from chicago, had seen your restaurant on tv- they had liked everything . We however both felt ill within an hour of leaving the restaurant. We called to let them know- never heard back. Food was ok- had we not gotten sick. Service fair - felt hurried- would have enjoyed a coffee and port with dessert. Never asked, check dropped. Dress code is obviously non existent, man in trunks with his date in a dress! Called back the following afternoon, the hotel didn’t seem to care we had gotten sick from them.
Be prepared! Fixed menu and over $100 per person. It’s fancy, so expect the small portions, and big price. It’s good for a SPECIAL occasion but not everyday dining.
Food was amazing. Our waiter was very helpful with suggestions and attentive. We would definitely come back here for a special occasion (since this would be quite a dent in the pocketbook)! But we’ll worth it!
Beautiful outdoor setting in Waikiki's Grand Dame, in the courtyard of a stately banyan tree, with views of the beach and Pacific Ocean.
Disappointed- fish entree with bones !
It started out well - We were seated towards the beach end , unfortunately the sun was bright and hot, there were no fans to cool the air. The ambiance is a lost as the tables overlook a very hectic pool beach scene. Not serene or even romantic in any way ! The food was as described tasting menu, small portions. I ordered the shrimp cocktail as an appetizer which is delicious, my entree was the hamachi fish -with lobster rice, tasty until I pulled out three fish bones, my appetite was ruined and I do d not finish my meal, when I brought to the attention of my server, he excused it as the new sous chef did not know how to clean fish ! I don’t recommend this place for dinner - there are other places to eat in Waikiki-
This place is awesome with classy beach vibes! We were lucky enough to be seated closest to the beach at sunset and watch the surfers. I ordered the pork chop for dinner — it was juicy and had this perfect crisp on the outside. Delicious! We even enjoyed the Hawaiian bread brought to the table with the pink sea salt butter. Simple but also delicious. Our server Calvin answered my husband’s questions about the fish he ordered. He also let us relax and enjoy the view with our drinks. We didn’t feel that we were being rushed out after eating our food which was nice. Overall, a great experience!
Fantastic food and fantastic ambiance. Pricey, but worth it.
Incredibly good food. Best pork chop I have ever had. Would definitely return again for a date night or anniversary. Can’t recommend it enough.
What a great place to eat! The food was delicious. We loved every course. The location is in a beautiful outdoor setting with a perfect view of the beach. There was live music entertainment that was perfect for the atmosphere. My husband and I could easily have a conversation and did not have to compete with the music, yet you had the background music creating the perfect island atmosphere. All of the staff were very friendly and on point. I can only imagine how challenging it is for them to comply with constant government mandate changes, but they did not show those stresses at all. This is a beautiful place with great food and I highly recommend you check it out.
Fabulous. Omar our waiter was excellent and very personable. Great recommendations.
Not worth price
