It was ok, good food.. would have been nice to have a personal touch to it when I ordered my dessert since I was celebrating my anniversary.
Food and service was outstanding. God is unique. Suckling pig was wonderful. Will definitely return. Recommend to anyone.
One of the best restaurants in Houston. The food is outstanding and the service is incredible. Crystal is amazing. Will be back again and again
Great place, but very hard to get into. I suggest reservations 2 weeks in advance. Food is of excellent quality and is impeccably presented.
Everything here was perfect, from the ambiance, to the wait staff, to the decor and the food of course. We can't wait to come back and visit again.
The gin and tonics are amazing, great food as well! We loved our time.
Simply the best restaurant in Houston. Incredible everything❤️❤️❤️
Food selection and preparation were first rate. Table service was suitably attentive and helpful. A great experience and we will be back.
Great food! Excellent (almost Michelin) style service. Great for special occasions.
Simply the best in Houston.
BCN is the best run restaurant with outstanding food and service, and is our favorite Houston restaurant.
We celebrated our anniversary here. It was perfect from start til end. The food, service and ambience were incredible.
Mediocre, literally tasteless, food with strong obnoxious service from the waiter telling us how great everything is!
Very well prepared and presented food
One of Houston’s very best
Excellent bar and wine list
Great dining without pretentious trappings
You will not be disappointed
We travel to Spain often and found our dinner at BCN to be an amazing culinary experience. In our opinion, Spain has some of the best food in the world and BCN holds true to this expectation. We opted for a meal of small plates like boquerones, Cantabrian anchovies, the beloved Jamón Ibérico de Bellota, and chilled melon soup. The food was delicious and accompanied by a great selection of wines.
An added joy was our server, Mario, who’s passionate description of each menu item was not just delightfully entertaining but left our mouths watering. Mario also shared vibrant stories of his dual Spanish and Italian heritage—one story in particular left us laughing for days after (Mario you know which one!)
BCN is a winner in every way!
Great food, great wine and great company to enjoy our Friday evening dinner. Service was attentive however, it was a little slow with returning to refill wine or water and ask for the bill at the end of our meal. Initially the service started out great and as the crowd began to fill up the restaurant, it was understandable, there were too many people and not enough servers. It was however a remarkable dinner and experience! Gladly return and I think our guest were very impressed also!
Exceptional service! Amazing food! Most Michelin worthy restaurant in Houston!
The noise level is too high. It is hard to talk at a table for two. Noise bounces off the walls and ceiling.
Wonderful variety of their signature drink, the gin and tonic. Service is impeccable and the food is to die for. Great wine list which the staff is more than happy to help you out with if you are a little rusty on your Spanish wines! Great for special occasions!
Amazing as always. Best restaurant in Houston by good margin.
one of the best little gems in houston... authentic Barcelona style food and ambiance!
Date night with hubby! first time visiting... Service, food and ambience was outstanding...true Spanish food.. we'll come back...Thanks Pack and Guadalupe for such a memorable experience.
It was my birthday. Everything was perfect. Always my choice for a special evening.
I don't which was better, the food or service? We had bar seating which earned immediate and excellent service. Unique and inspired food offerings done impeccably.
appetizers : ordered octopus , boquerones, iberico ham croquettes,Burrata salad with watermelon and Free-range sunny side up eggs* with potatoes and cured Spanish Ibérico ham add foie gras* - they were ok although the croquettes were small balls and not as we had imagined (thicker longer cylinders)
main courses - ordered suckling pig , confirt of duck , fish special and spanish noodles . the duck was by far the best dish . the rest were ok but not noteworthy.
deserts - ordered gypsies arm and filo with creme catalan - both were excellent
wine :white was pacos recommendation (good ) red was 2009 Marqués de Murrieta also good
The restaurant was very warm and felt a little musty - too warm to be comfortable even for the ladies in our party without sports coats. the service was excellent at all times
Always such a great experience! From the moment we walked in, to getting in our car, BCN never disappoints. Wonderful service, food, and ambiance.
Just a wonderful experience overall. The food, ambience, and staff were great, especially the person who waited on us. Thank you BCN for making our anniversary so memorable. David Scanlin
Food and Service were excellent, but the portions were small and very expensive.
Great food, impecable service!
Fabulous food and service! Can't wait to go back.
We started with some their specialty gin drinks and they were outstanding. Followed them with the calamari appetizer, the beet salad, melon soup, Lobster entree and Branzino fish. We couldn't have asked for a better meal.
We love this place, would enjoy more off menu items.
We came here for my husband’s birthday and it was incredible! The food and service were top notch! All 6 of us loved the appetizers, meals, deserts and of course the gin drinks! And, best of all with any fine dining experience, the staff really made our experience that much more amazing!
Delicious Food! Amazing Service! Great People! BEST Restaurant not only in Houston but the entire US!
Amazing as always~ BCN offers outstanding food and customer service since my first visit and conscience is important in food as well as staff who remains standing tall,,, hats to off the bartender Santiago, if you ever want to see HELLS bartender at its best, take a seat at the Bar he works magic like Houdini. Sandy~ MAD and BCN is where you will find me.
Very pushy waitress. Kept trying to sell the most expensive wines and entrees on the menu and then removed our food before we were finished and without asking. For a $500 bill, you would hope you could finish your food and have a relaxed and unpressured meal. It was a shame because the food was delicious and well prepared.
Best gin and tonic in town. The food is great as well.
Overall it was a nice meal. They didn’t have the wine we ordered and suggested a new one. The food was ok. I am bias as I grew up eating Spanish food. Some hit and misses. The cochinillo is by far the best of all dishes. The rabbit wasn’t great. The appetizers, and the gin and tonics are a nice touch. Overall a nice experience but I expected much more flavor wise.
Service is incredibly cordial and kind.
Big plus, it doesn’t feel at all like an American restaurant. Definitely a more worldly experience.
We love BCN and think it’s the best food in town, however my dish was overly salty and a disappointment for the price.
Mario was our server, and was absolutely wonderful. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and his enthusiasm is contagious. He made some amazing recommendations, and was so attentive. We will be coming back again!
Dinner was amazing. The food was creative and wonderful. I had the Gambas Ajillo special appetizer and it was the best I’ve ever had. Just amazing. And my dinner was some sort of crispy pork over noodles and everyone agreed that I had the best dish!! The seafood soup was really good, but scant on the actual seafood. The olives were so good and the bread was insanely good!! Loved the setting.
