We visited pre theatre. The service was friendly and fine if a little slow. The food was disappointing - with the burgers particularly poor.

Happy to have gone to this place. The pre-theatre menu titillated us enough to try the à la carte menu next time. Some unexpected combinations of flavours worth further exploration. Very nice team too.

My chicken smelled and tasted funky. It was a £20 chicken Caesar salad. They took 10.50 off the bill because I’d eaten some of it. They also said it was a matter of opinion that it was funky. I’m 42. I’ve eaten a lot of chicken. My opinion is, the chef would have known the chicken was on the turn and chanced it anyway. Or they didn’t know, which is frankly worse. Also, don’t take off £9.50. Take off the whole meal and apologise. Don’t say it’s a matter of opinion. Aside from all that the menu is bland with limited options. There are so many better places you can go in the area.

I work around the corner from this bar the food has always been good. Service always good staff always helpful no issues at all.
