   Good food and excellent service from server, Rosa. She was polite and personable. A true credit to her position.

   Our server was very busy as it was mother's day. Her section was stacked, and she was very friendly and gracious. She did forget a lot of small details. Never offered us bread. Forgot lemons with water when we requested it. Would forget minor accoutrements when we requested them - such as ketchup. It's simple stuff... but it adds up. My dinner guests felt like she wasn't attentive. They did find her agreeable and willing - but she was too busy to provide the level of service we typically enjoy from Bazille. The other disappointment was learning that the fruit ice tea recipe/offering changed! What a disappointment that was. And to find out usual Sunday brunch wasn't being offered. Not sure if this is permanent. We were simply told it was a menu change. My guests went with some expectation of meals that were their favorites and had to adjust. As for the food - we loved our tacos appetizers! The salmon niçoise was amazing, and so was our halibut. Everyone loved the food. Of course, no trip to Bazille is complete without the fries and kalamata olive dip. Overall, it was a good meal and a good value... we simply hope that Bazille can stack up on their former commitment to customer expectations of across-the-board excellence. Maybe they were just very very very busy that day. Regardless, our server was polite and kind, the food is fresh and tasty, and Bazille is a staple and we will be back.

   Disappointed that Nordstrom decided to stop serving bread at the table when requested. You have to pay for it as an appetizer now. Considering there are other restaurants in the mall that charge less for their food that offer complimentary bread, I find it odd that Nordstrom would start offering less to their customers instead of more. Also, our server wasn't as good as some they have. Nordstrom is known for customer service, so this was also disappointing. Looks like it is time to be more selective when choosing where to eat out when at International Plaza.

   A Screeming child at the next table was irritating and made it hard to carry on a conversation. Our waiter was terrific

   Overall a most pleasant experience. We ordered basic food and it came as ordered, cooked properly. Only complaint is that hostess seated family with kids right behind us (we are an elderly couple), when the restaurant was pretty empty. Thankfully we were almost finished with our dinner. Just hard to understand why privacy isn’t respected when it is easy to do so.

    Food and service are still very good, but I miss the old look of the restaurant. It used to be darker, which looked classy. They have turned up the lights and added tables on the outside area, so some diners are in the actual store part with those nasty bright lights. If they needed more room for tables, they should’ve expanded the restaurant area, not just added tables in the middle of the store. Also, what is up with the ceiling? They removed the ceiling tiles, so you can see all the wiring and such. Hopefully this is a temporary situation. It had been a while since I’d been here and not happy with the new look (or lack of one). That said, out waitress was wonderful - very friendly and attentive.
