Basta was amazing! Great staff, awesome food. We got the burrata and bread to start, which was delicious and a definite highlight. We then had a nice, fresh salad followed by a Daisy pizza. The standout was the chicken, which was crispy and tender and pretty mind blowing. Nice atmosphere, but weird location in the middle of an apartment complex. We will definitely be back though! Really great food and wine.

This is a hidden gem in Boulder. We moved to Boulder after living in France for the previous 20 years, and this is the closest to a French\Italian neighborhood restaurant that we have found in the Boulder area. Their whole fish is like served on the Mediterranean.

Not really Italian, a bit out of the way, but really excellent food. The bread with burrata and the pizzas were amazing. The salads were great. Since we are from New Orleans the octopus was underwhelming, and the shortribs were really not $70-worth of delicious. Nonetheless a special place with great servers.

We had an amazing meal at Basta! From the service to the food, everything was perfect. The short rib was out of this world! I suspect they don't get a lot of young diners (our 10 month old was with us) but they were super friendly and welcoming to our family which we appreciated. We will definitely be back for special occasions.

Seriously blew away our expectations! Our friends said it would be amazing but we had no idea what talent existed here. So glad we made the trip from Denver! We fortunately dined at the chef's counter and were amazed by everything being prepared in the oven. Looking forward to coming back soon!

LOVE Basta. The pizzas are fantastic. The plain lemon, olive oil and lettuce salad is great. The half chicken is outstanding. We love the atmosphere and the food!
We live in Dallas and go to Basta every time we're in Boulder.

Dinner was delicious with everything cooked in the "fireball in the kitchen" according to our waiter, the stone oven. 1/2 chicken was crispy on all the skin, pizza perfect and sweet peas smokey. Campfire vanilla not to be missed ice cream for dessert!

Food options are minimal and it is extremely overpriced. You can go to Blackbelly or Spruce and get a better meal for the same price. There were no special drink prices. Cost us $80 for a couple of drinks and a pizza...oh did I mention that if you order a 2nd glass of iced tea that you get dinged for that?

The food and wine were good but canned beer cost $8 and the pizza is around $18 for a 1-2 person pizza. Their prices were generally too high. Also, they do not offer happy hour which I find to be unacceptable. Though, the pizza was tasty and our service was good.

We like the pizza at Basta. Thin crust. Woodfired oven. Good size for two of us to share. We had the arugula and prosciutto. A little cheedse melted on a crust with a salad of arugula and prosciutto on top. Unusual presentation, but very good. Good wine selections. We also had the pickled vegetables. Small size. Caramel and black salt ice cream was a little salty and very small.

Really? $20 martinis? Absolutely not worth it. Veggie medley boasts an assortment but ends up as unimpressive - primarily potatoes.

So good! We usually order a baby green salad for the table and everyone gets their own pizza. Favorites include the Peppers (the BEST pepperoni), Arugula, and the Daisy pizza. Their burnt caramel and salt ice cream and potato doughnuts are absolutely delicious. Amazing pizza, great wine, yummy deserts and fun atmosphere. Wait staff is friendly and attentive. Hidden gem in Boulder.

Wonderful dining evening! From the moment we walked in Alan was incredible. He knew who we were and made us feel very welcome. Alan, you are superb! We sat by the oven and was impressed with the chef who was cooking that evening.

Love the food, the drink, the service and have been back many times. I don't know if it was because they were crowded or something else but the noise level was so high could barely carry on a conversation! It is one of our favorite places but this will make me reconsider when I go back

Food was amazing! The staff was very nice and attentive. Opened the door for us and everybody was on point with service. The 72 hour roast dish was one of the best meat dishes I have ever had.
