   After going there for years on a regular basis we are not a fan of the change of menu to a la carte. The wait staff was fantastic as always but the a al carte menu pricing will slow us down on coming on a regular basis. This is an up north restaurant it’s not downtown Minneapolis.

   Justin—please bring back the old menu. We felt like a lot of the charm was lost.

   Though I LOVE Bar Harbor and have been coming for over 15 years, each summer they reopen we are all greeted with higher prices. Now I even have to pay for my bread. They are pricing me out and that makes me sad

   Randi was the cutest gal and best server!!! She was so sweet to my 1 year old son. 10/10 experience for NYE Dinner. Food was amazing and atmosphere was great!

   Wonderful food drinks and service. Very accommodating. Even made my type I diabetic 12 year old son a diet sprite Shirley temple. He was in heaven. Gave my daughter an extra cherry because she was upset when we got there. Just very very accommodating especially for kids as an upscale place. Walleye phenomenal. Scallop and lobster linguini amazing. All of was spectacular including the wood fire on this cold night

   We love this place. Food and service is always excellent. This time the only thing that was disappointing was that the staff starting cleaning up while customers were still there. Vacuuming, mopping, ect while we were having our last drinks and patrons were still at the bar. I would expect more from a high end place like this.

   We love Bar Harbor but tonight was a little off as the restaurant is preparing to close for the season. Our server Marsha was great and we definitely enjoyed being there. As you might imagine it’s a much more fun place to be in the summer with all the boats coming and going. But despite the lack of activity and people watching, we enjoyed our dinner tonight! Pearl Harbor will always be our go to place at the lake!

    Another delicious Sunday chicken dinner at Bar Harbor. The ambience and the servers is what really makes the whole experience marvelous!
