Did we ever have a gastronomic experience last night at Irma’s Kitchen in Cragun’s Resort!!! We had 3 appetizers, wedge salad, 4 entrees: duck, two pastas and one salmon, dessert of strawberry shortcake and macarons. One glass of wine was Included in the price per person. Incredible!!! Our server, Pauline, was excellent, efficient and fun to have her take care of us. We also met, Melissa, the events & dining manager, and we had an enjoyable conversation. My husband had the steak Oscar and I had the roasted half chicken. Both were exceptionally delicious. For dessert, I had the chocolate torte with strawberry puree and it was one of the best things I've ever eaten. My husband had the creme brulee and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm not sure of our servers name (Elona?), but she was absolutely outstanding; friendly, helpful and there when we needed something, but never hovering. She also made some exceptional cocktails! We went with the 4 course blind taste menu. The wine was perfectly described and the food was amazing! The wait staff was absolutely a delight. CRU has set the bar incredibly high for fine dining and amazing experience! The service was reasonably fast. Our server was friendly and accurate. They had a good selection for the children and adults.
