A bit disappointing when you have a $45 short rib that the is presented lukewarm and dry.
The elegant setting of this restaurant is one for special occasions, but difficult to achieve when seated next to crying babies.

New chef and great selections. Flavors delightful. Extensive wine selection. Solid beer choices. This place always pleases us.
There were two of us , and spent a little less than two hundred dollars. When I called to confirm the reservation, I told them we were celebrating my neighbors birthday. We each had one and a half glasses of wine so most of our bill was for food. You would have thought a little bday something would have been included to end the evening, but no.
A bit disappointed. I would still recommend Avant especially if you enjoy fine, expensive dining . The hostess was very pleasant as was the bartender, Jason.
Food was delicious. 2 of us got the yellowtail; not over cooked, nice presentation. Short ribs were also reported to have been the best my friend had. Strip loin didn’t quite impress. Cocktails were so so. Dessert- chocolate tart- disappointing.

The 21-day aged duck was exquisite--A perfect blend of fat and meat for duck eating succulence. This meal should be on that show ¨The Best Thing I Ever Ate.¨ My fiancee Deborah and I totally enjoyed Avant--the food, service, and ambiance are all top-notch. I totally recommend this restaurant.
It was cold and uncomfortable but it is covid times and we had to rush up. Everyone is trying.
Jason, the mixologist and our care taker, made our 50th Anniversary dinner special.

Our appetizers, the Woodfired Cauliflower and Cured Hiramasa were delicious. The cocktails that were ordered, Old Fashion, Spicy Margarita and Amaretto Sour needed more flavor. We ordered 2 duck entrees and two Grilled Yellowtail. Both dishes had no flavor, they lacked seasoning. The waitperson never came over to check how the food was. We brought in wine, had to ask to have it open, never poured anymore after the first glass, we had to pour the two bottles of wine ourselves. Dinner was almost over before they got around to opening the second bottle. We had to ask someone other than our waitperson to open the wine. We were very disappointed in the experience.
Thanks to our server Gabby who took great care of us, especially with my food allergies. Our only suggestion is to update the decor to match the upscale cuisine.

-menu states what each entre comes with but all it was were squirts of liquid..not an actual side..adds to the frustration of the cost of it.

Amazing Easter Brunch at AVANT. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Beautiful venue, excellent food, good service. And no kids nearby, so we could enjoy our meal in peace.
This place was nice but it took a really long time for our food to come out. I know that there are sometimes mistakes or hiccups, but it’s about how you handle the situation. For a nice restaurant like this, I would have expected they’d offer a complimentary drink or dessert. The only thing that happened was the waiter came out once to acknowledge the delay. That was all which was disappointing when we’re paying $40-50/entree.
We went there for my birthday. Service was exceptional. Food was very good. I know we are in a pandemic but I was hoping for more options on the menu

Honestly, the food was not good. The polenta tasted like grits and the chicken cracklings tasted a little rancid. We had the short rib... emphasis on the singular. While it seemed to fall apart it was tough to chew and under seasoned. The singular bulb of a vegetable was inedible My friend got the fish. She didn’t complain but did leave half of it on her plate. The strawberry dessert almost made me laugh. It was so tiny and the cream was sour. I have been a loyal customer of RB Inn for years. I had 2 of my company Christmas parties there and have stayed many times. I have found the food quality inconsistent. Right now it feels like Avant is trying too hard to live up to the “avant-garde “. I love the ambiance and service.

Wow...all I can say is that this restaurant has become 'very' expensive, while offering a 'very' limited menu that is not going to appeal to everyone. The food was very good, all in all, but not great enough to support such prices, in our view. We were seated in a 'far' outdoor patio so service was slow - it took about 10 minutes to find our waiter to get a copy of our receipt (we should have been given two copies to begin with - always). A pleasant ambience, for the most part, but with no view of the golf course.
Very fresh yellow tail flown in from Hawaii. The chefs preparation made this delicate fish melt in my mouth
Avant was amazing. We enjoyed quite a few starters but the mushies were one of the best things I’ve ever had. For dinner I had the short rib wagu and it was so delicious. The service was incredible and the overall experience was superb.
It’s was an anniversary celebration and everything was wonderful. Food was amazing and we will definitely be back. I highly recommend
Fortunate to grab indoor seating in the bar area! Jason the bartender and the Inn director of beverages took care of us along with Ruby. The service was fantastic and the food albeit small portions were 1st class. We shared the scallops small plate, the short-ribs main plate and tiramisu. We also had excellent crafted alcoholic beverages.
On open I indicated it was my husband’s birthday and the hostess asked if we were celebrating a special occasion and I said yes. After our meal, no one acknowledged it was his birthday. Very few things on the menu and my husband loves duck, that’s why we went but he thought his meal was horrible.

Happy Hour was amazing and our server Gabby was so knowledgeable and friendly. We had the gnocchi, cauliflower, oysters, and scallops. The dishes were phenomenal and the ambience was great! Sunset over the lush golf course.
