Join us on our Roof Terrace - it's the perfect spot to escape the hustle and bustle below, offering a vibrant atmosphere for catching up with friends or enjoying a relaxed drink under the open sky.

Serving top quality, freshly prepared, French inspired food from midday until late seven days a week, Auberge Waterloo is conveniently located within a short walk of the South Bank and it's attractions including the London Eye, and Royal Festival Hall.

The Auberge Bar and Restaurant is a great place to meet friends for a catch-up over drinks, then dine upstairs in the restaurant. Great value with the 2 for 1 main courses offer. Great choice of starters and mains - I had smoked salmon on horseradish potato cake, wild rocket & crème fraiche, my friend had the deep fried breaded Camembert with redcurrant sauce - both starters were of a good size and tasty. We then both had the sirloin steak - one medium, one medium/well - only hiccup was they got these mixed up so we had to swap half way through - but otherwise was a very tasty meal. Just a stones throw from Waterloo Station, easy to get home afterwards.

We had a lovely dinner at Auberge, the food was good, and the service good although the restaurant was quite busy. I would go back again.

The staff at Auberge were vey lovely - I just wish we'd seen more of them: I had to go to the waiting counter four times throughout the evening to get their attention for drinks or food. The food was delayed (apparently a problem in the kitchen), and then arrived as an incorrect order for one person on the table. On the the positive side, the food was tasty when it arrived, and the restaurant is next door to Waterloo East station so the journey home was easy.

We decided on Auberge for a meal before we went to the Old Vic as it's so close. I chose salmon, which was a generous portion, but the spinach with it was inedible. It was very tough and stringy. When I told the waitress she offered 10percent off the bill which I thought was fair. My husband had the beef stew which he said was nothing special. The staff were uninterested and the there was no atmosphere. Next time we go to the Old Vic we will try somewhere else for a meal.

The cuisine was somewhat ordinary and the first course we ordered, French Onion soups, was thin and not hot enough. The wine list was adequate. Overall we were somehwat disappointed.

After we had booked this Resturant , they rang to tell us that we would have to eat in the bar as they had a party for 150 people in the Resturant . We said ok that's fine, we went around 5pm and our table was reserved and we had the same menu as the Resturant . But the bar was very busy and it felt very uncomfortable as everybody was crowding into every space around our little table. But saying this the food cooked to a high standard and was of good quality. We download a 2 for 1 voucher off there web site, which they excepted with no problems.The staff were rushed off there feet but made us welcome. Would come back and try the Resturant .

very nice place to meet pre theatre (old vic, national, imax) or on route to/from Waterloo station. Quick and of good quality. Tastecard makes it good value.

Was not impressed by the food which I thought was tasteless. I had been before and things were OK, but I felt it had deteriorated since.
