Always a great pleasure and exceptional, including the wine store. A Santa Fe gem.
This is our favorite neighborhood spot! If you don’t live close, it is still well worth the ride. Fabulous food, warm ambient s and unbeatable wine selection. . . Full packaged liquor stop.
This restaurant is uniformly superb. Thay have a new chef who is just terrific.cant go there enough
AV remains one of the top 3 dining experiences in Santa Fe // From start to finish (3 hours of dining) - the food, the service, the calm environment and the communication were PERFECT // A do not miss //
We really like this place. The food is always excellent, service is also very accommodating. A very nice fine dining experience.
We’ve eaten here every year in November for a couple years. The menu was very different from previous visits. The service and ambiance was lovely as always, but the heaviness of the dish (lamb shank) truly surprised us, as previous menus were always so balanced. The whole dish was heavy, from top to bottom.
During our meal, we wondered if it was the same chef, and confirmed the next day that there was indeed a change. It was a nice meal, but the playfulness of the food was missing.
We could have had that meal all over Santa Fe, we came to Arroyo Vino for their playful take on traditional fare.
Their wine list is great, and we truly enjoy learning more each time we pick up a bottle. We will never stop visiting their wine store.
I visit Santa Fe often and always dine at least once at Arroyo Vino. This particular time the five stars go to AV. We shared the roasted radishes and garden greens and then both had the lamb..Wow!! Great job Chef Alison!! Don’t forget to pick up several bottles of wine while there. David is truly a master at wine selection!
This was our third visit and unfortunately, we were disappointed this time. Our first two visits were great, which is why we wanted to return, but unfortunately, the food was merely so-so, and one of our meals was overcooked, which from past experience was quite disappointing. I do hope that Arroyo Vino is able to get back to their supperb level of food quality we experienced previously. Service was quite good and friendly, so no issue there at all.
Lovely, extraordinarily fresh food! The wait staff and wine staff went above and beyond the call to make a perfect food and wine evening.
Lovely restaurant with excellent food and a great wine selection. I'm very pleased to live close by.
Outstanding in every way - food, service, wine choices and quality of the cocktails.
So glad that this gem is in hour neighborhood. Food and service is always great.
Fabulous food as always and friendly, knowledgeable staff. We love it here!!
Arroyo Vino is a classy restaurant along the lines of other top notch restaurants in Santa Fe. The staff is friendly, the food fantastic. The country setting is nice. Highly recommend for a night out.
Well-deserved James Beard nominee. Food was fantastic, and wine list very broad. Food portions were very large. Beautiful setting, great service.
Arroyo Vino consistently delivers wonderful, savory food and wines. We both had the halibut and it was mouth watering. The amuse bouche is always a delicacy. Loved our meal, The only odd thing was that it was my husband's birthday and, while they brought desert, they also charged for it. Don't most places make this complimentary?
Still a fantastic meal.
Everything we ate was amazing. The Moroccan chicken’s flavor profile was so complex, layered, nuanced, and harmonized that it was a work of art.
Evening started off a little rocky as we arrived at 7:50 PM for an 8:00 PM reservation. We were not seated until 8:20. Everything was perfect from that point forward.
The meal (appetizers, entrees, and desserts) and wine cane to just under $200 for two of us. I would have happily paid twice as much given the caliber of the food.
We stumbled on to this restaurant while in Santa Fe and loved it!
Pasta was way over cooked. Brussels sprouts undercooked. Mushrooms were “like cardboard” according to my husband. Something has changed at this restaurant!
Fish was bland and dry. Server never asked if the meal was satisfactory, server made no contact with us after the meal was served and said nothing when dropping off the check. $200 for a poor meal and no server follow up or concern. This was a birthday celebration dinner - Very disappointing experience.
Excellent as always on every level.
Amazing food, atmosphere, and service. We had a great time!
What can you say... We've been here several times and never once has it disappointed us. From the food to the service and the great wine selection, it's a foodie's paradise. We've been here with a large group and just the two of us and everything in between. In each case the service has been impeccable.
Last night there were four of us. We started with the cocktails which were spot on. Mine was the Boulevadier (bourbon) and it was refreshing and mixed just right. The Pisco's Lament was enjoyed by one of our friends and my wife had the Corpse Reviver 2.1 (gin). No lamenting or reviving required.
We then moved on to the wine which was a Chardonnay that was buttery smooth. It paired well with my salmon special, the other's chicken and halibut dishes. No one left anything on the plate. Oh - I forgot the salads! We had the garden greens. Good but not stellar, but quite satisfying. It was dressed with an apple cider vinaigrette. Our friends had the Heirloom Tomato Salad which looked great and was verified as such.
The meal was completed with the Chocolate Pot de Creme and Panna Cotta. Both were devoured and finished off with some cappucinos and lattes.
The ambiance is a big reason we dine here and it was spot on last night. Comfortable and able to hear your compatriots conversations without having to ask, "What'd you say?". We always enjoy coming here and will return again and again.
great place for casual get together. 4 friends - shared everything on the tasting menu, and then each had a small plate....It was more than we needed, but loved every bite.
The environment was simple and sophisticated with plenty of space between tables. The crowd
was interesting, eclectic, and comfortable with understated excellence in dinning. The wait staff
were really a pleasure, both attentive and not prone to interruptions. The cocktails were just
fabulous and the salads and entrée perfectly prepared.
We had a good time
Our service was super. Everyone was friendly and accommodating
Food was terrific.
A very nice experience. Basic Americana, nothing unique— but everything was well prepared and presented. Solid service. Moved us through our meals bit too quickly.
Very very good food, great open airy space to sit in, attractive. Wait staff always seem harried -- not enough? But everything else perfect.
Enjoyed our evening dinning at Arroyo Vino! We could see the beautiful sunset, enjoyed their wine selection, wonderful food, and overall quiet energy. Loved our server, Jonathan, he is a gem.
Yet another great experience and meal
Chef Allison Jenkins knocks it out of the park! We've loved Allison's food for a long time--seeing her in Santa Fe was a great surprise! Really one of the best meals we've had in a long time. Totally great food, totally great service! Can't wait to come back..
I had given up on Arroyo Vino two years ago when we were served rare chicken. We were asked if we wanted it cooked more. It was bloody and cold in the center. The waiter had attitude. There was no apology.
Recently friends told us there was a new chef and a change in personnel, so we decided to try it again.
What a difference! Everything was perfect.
Always such a divine experience. Best salad / uber fresh lettuce around. Delightful and knowledgeable service staff, a class act every time we have dined at Arroyo Vino. My favorite Santa Fe restaurant. :)
The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our server was very knowledgable and could explain how the dishes were prepared. The food was excellent!
We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Delicious food, beautifully presented. Outstanding wine list, as well as the extensive offering in the amazing wine store on the premises. Sunset views are beautiful.
A delightful dining experience! Exceptional service, delicious and beautifully presented dishes and a seemingly endless wine selection. Select a wine from the menu or the impressive wine shop. We also like the easily accessible free parking.
We were first-time visitors and had trouble finding the restaurant. We called and got directions, but were ten minutes late. They only had outside tables available and we waited, standing at the entrance, for about 10 minutes for a table to be set. The outside tables were under a tent, like the ones used for weddings, with electrical wires running to it, and very flimsy chairs. A very loud table was next to us, and there were two empty ones, so I have no idea why it took so long to seat us. They were out of the Moroccan chicken and the exploding dessert, and the menu is relatively limited. The food we had - gnocchi, lamb tartar, zucchini flowers with ricotta - was very good, but it took a long time to be served, even to get menus. The waiter was very polite, but we felt like interlopers. It really did not live up to the extravagant recommendations of other diners on Open Table. It was fine, but there are a lot of fabulous restaurants in Santa Fe. And we found that they cancelled our reservation after we left and listed us as a no-show.
The greeters gave our table to other guests and were extremely rude to us. They refused to turn the light on in the wine store so we could view the labels and wine we were purchasing. Three of the choices for entrees and deserts we asked for not available. We ended up having to order several starters due to their not having enough food. The food we did finally get was good. Our reservation was for 7:00 PM so we were not having a late dinner. The staff was obviously fighting among themselves and this spilled out to the dining guests. Extremely bad atmosphere and dining experience. VERY poor showing!
Excellent experience, we will be back very soon. The food was prepared beautifully and the presentation was elegant. For our appetite the portions were generous, as we took some food home. The wine selection is broad and diverse.
