    Bittersweet Arroyo Vino (AV) is one of the top dining choices in Santa Fe // THE BITTER - Earlier this week, the executive chef, Allison, passed away suddenly // Allison was a remarkable chef and a great presence in the Santa Fe community // She is missed by many // In her honor, AV closed a few extra days and reopened last night // THE SWEET - Simply put, AV did not miss a beat // Appetizers were creative and well composed // The chicken entree was perfectly prepared and presented with great sides // Cocktails and wine choices were very well done - Chartreuse was a remarkable addition to some of the cocktails // Service, as always, was perfect // Jonathan is one of the best servers in SF // This is a time to support AV as they transition //

    Arroyo Vino never disappoints. Out anniversary dinner was excellent. Our cocktails, starters, mains and dessert were very nicely prepared and yummy. Jonathan's service was perfect in all respects. He is always wonderful. we will certainly return again soon.

    Our fourth visit and never fails to impress. Each time the food and service has been consistently high level. The menus is varied and interesting.

    Meal was exceptional (as usual) . The Moroccan style chicken was really flavorful. My friends had the seabass and tajine and their respective dishes were excellent. Some new cocktails on the menu which were fun and the vesper martini continues to be a favorite of my husbands. Desserts were excellent and we had the homemade sorbet by Chef Allison herself which will be a repeat in the future. Jonathan continues to be the best waiter ever.

    A total gem! Attentive and friendly service. Food and wine were exquisite. Overall vibe was like a neighborhood favorite spot.

    As I’ve said these reviews multiple times, this restaurant is at the top of their game, having gotten better month by month. I expect to be wowed by the tempura mushrooms, which I dream about, but was surprised to find onions in the dish as well; great idea. The barbecue shrimp were terrific, not exactly New Orleans, mainly because it was not swimming in butter. (I have nothing against butter and I’m from New Orleans). The potato ravioli were lovely. I think the chef was trying to balance the sweetness of brown butter by adding a touch of citrus – maybe a touch too much. Looking forward to next time.

    Arroyo Vino is always reliably good. The newish smashburgers and fries were enjoyed by this party and on a previous trip. The potato ravioli was also good. The evening was loud because the restaurant was full (and it's a small space). I don't know what could be done about that.

    Always enjoy this restaurant. Food and service are always top-notch with great wines at moderate prices. My wife and I leave Aroyo Vino each time asking ourselves... why don't we come here more often?
