Food was just ok. Drinks were great!
Great service, good food (we ate light) and great music. We went late (9pm) so missed most of the music, as they ended @10pm. We enjoyed it while it lasted!
Had high expectations for this infamous bistro. Service was very slow but friendly. Food was good but definitely not worth the cost. I will not return.
Great food. One of our servers,Cali, was exceptional. He went above and beyond to make our dinner experience great. He was professionally friendly and enlightened us with the history of the restaurant.
Everything was great. Food, service and the jazz trio was perfect for setting a New Orleans vibe.
We had multiple waiters...some were good, some were pushy on ordering food and some had no idea what they were doing. The quality of the food was just OK and way overpriced IMO. There are much better places to eat in NOLA. We had street performers right outside our window playing drums on 5 gallon buckets that was so loud we couldn't hear the band. When leaving one of the band members pointed towards his tip bucket...needless to say he got no tip. They have been around forever and are living on a reputation of the past. Today's standards have passed them by...
Great service, delicious food, the most yummy bread. The live Jazz music was an added bonus.
Lots of character and ambiance, very good food, and the jazz trio was on point.
Food was very good. Fun experience with the jazz trio. The service was very good. Nice job pacing the meal and providing recommendations. I would recommend.
Wonderful meal, music, and experience. Will be back!
Had my one year anniversary dinner at Arnaud’s Jazz Bistro and loved every part of it! Delicious food and cocktails, and the jazz trio was super fun!
Loved dining in the jazz bistro. It is festive. Brightened our mood and very New Orleans!
An oasis on Bourban Street, a step back in time when scollared shirts were required. With an old school, excellent bar. Recommended.
The food was delicious and the ambiance is classic New Orleans. We sat in the Jazz section of the restaurant and a jazz trio serenaded each table to any requested songs. It is a beautiful sanctuary on Bourbon St. with a view of the action!
Great meal, great atmosphere, little too loud for business however.
Expensive, food wasn’t great and service was subpar.
Food. Service, all the wait staff were excellent
We will return
Everyone in the party was surprised by the $8 music charge. Seems high and for the food/drink price should be included.
Service was a little on the leisurely side... but perhaps that is part of New Orleans dining culture.
Everything was outstanding. Only two complaints - it took a little too long to get our dinner and we were a bit surprised to see a mouse running around the dining room floor at the end of our dinner. Happy we didn't see it sooner, or we would've been out of there.
I was bummed from the moment we walked in. It was so loud, the bar was a storage room and they sat us 30 min after our reservation. It took forever to get a server. When we did he was only the drink guy. We finally received dinner menus 20 min after being seated. The food was the only saving grace here. I was so worried but it ended up ok. Definitely don’t recommend as there are amazing restaurants in NOLA
Arnaud's is an old-school fine dining experience. The food, the service, the hospitality, the pacing of the meal, everything was top class from start to finish.
Wonder service we did the $20.20 lunch special was well worth it. Good food great service. We both liked it.
Was caught off guard having to wear a nasty stained loaner jacket over my cashmere sweater since it didn’t have a collar.
Food and atmosphere were great
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner with a three piece jazz group. Service couldn’t have been better. We also visited their Mardi Gras museum upstairs. While small, the costumes are beautifully maintained and nicely displayed.
Have dinner in the Jazz bistro. Listen to some nice jazz while you have a good dinner. The food is pretty good, the service is top notch, the music is great, the room has a nice vibe. Great neighborhood in the heart of the French Quarter. Definitely worth going to ... and the Banana Foster is an absolute MUST. They literally have the best Banana Foster hands down!
Arnaud’s is a great place. The food was very good however had had to pick out 3-4’pieces of crab shell from my dish. I think charging 4.00 a person for the roaming musicians is a little much considering how much you are
Spending on drinks and the meal. Otherwise a vet good place.
Shirt collar rule ridiculous. Won’t come back. Understand no t-shirt, but nice sweater should be acceptable.
Very slow and not particularly sharp service. We had somewhere between 2-3 people “taking care of us,” but we had to flag somebody down any time we wanted something. It was NYE, so understandable to some extent, but the dining room was never totally full or anything. Food was just so-so. The combination of food and service is not commensurate with the price they charge.
Great place to ring in the New Year!
The musicians, food, and service were fabulous...a perfect evening.
I suppose being one of New Orleans old line restaurants carries some pros and cons. It was a lovely venue with an attentive waitstaff. The food, however, needs a makeover. I was not pleased with their Oysters Arnaud. The Shrimp Bisque was good, though! Three in our party had the Veal Wohl which left a lot to be desired. The veal was a bit tough, the crab cake was mediocre, at best and they were out of the crawfish O’Connor, which they replaced with shrimp.... and I had to send mine back because it came out cold. My husband ordered the Pompano David which was overcooked and dry. Not our best eating experience. Then, the check came, and lo and behold, there was a Music charge. It’s a Jazz Bistro, for goodness sakes! The music should be part of the experience. Very disappointed!
Great NOLA jazz accompanied by amazing food and service
Be aware that they add a music surcharge of $4 to your bill. The music was a three piece band that went table to table playing one song of your selection.
We were a table of seven and on Christmas Eve. It was a very busy night but we were treated as if we were the only ones there and the food was very good. They have the best seafood gumbo in town. Everyone was happy with the meal and desserts. The Jazz Band was fabulous!
Old world elegance coupled with wonderful food and great service! This is one of New Orleans’ most iconic restaurants.
Food and ambience were great. I ordered a medium steak. It was a little hard to cut so I asked for a steak knife. They told me they didn’t have one! That’s a first. I thought they were joking only to be disappointed later.
Absolutely fabulous from start to finish. Expensive but worth every cent! Food, service, atmosphere (Jazz Room) - way more than a “10.” Visiting NOLA would not be complete without a dinner at Arnauds!
Enjoyed everything. Incredibly memorable experience. Loved the jazz band during dinner.
What a great time! The greeting, the food, the music and service was excellent! It was our parents 60th anniversary and the management and staff were so accommodating, it was just a wonderful experience! One of top 5 most memorable dining experiences. Great job!
The band even crooned a love song to our parent’s!
And do not forget about the little museum upstairs!
