Armani’s signature antipasto bar allows guests to create their own first course from a selection of more than 30 items and a dedicated station offers fresh made-to-order Caesar salads. The “primi piatti” menu includes vegetarian, pasta and soup selections, while main courses range from veal scaloppini with a porcini-truffle reduction to bison ribeye over Italian gratin.
While we pride ourselves on being the top special occasion restaurant in Tampa, we do not guarantee a specific table type or view, we will seat best available table upon arrival to Armani's.

The staff was amazing also the food. I went for my 41st birthday and they treated me and my wife like we were family. I highly recommend the osso boco. I lived in Milan, Italy for three years and I felt like I was back in Italy.
Birthday celebration. Our dinners were outstanding as was the service. Margot provided beautiful piano music and is the main reason we choose Armani’s.
We enjoyed our dinner. Celebrating a birthday and they certainly made us feel special. My only complaints were it was a little too noisy and I was charged $22 for a grey goose martini which is insane to me. Never been charged that much for a martini even at Berns or ocean prime. Ordered bistro steak and garlic purée, amazing flavor. The dessert was very good also.
Great views found the food and service to be OK. Nothing that would say we need to go back again.
I really enjoy the experience. The food in the menu is excellent and the cocktails perfect. I would have a couple of items to improve in the service, but not big deal. The part I did not enjoy was the deserts.
The meal was outstanding and the service was very good. We did not feel rushed at all. The veal chop was the best I have ever had. The antipasti bar was amazing, tons to choose from and it was all very good. We have come to Armani's for years and it is always consistent. I would certainly recommend it to a friend and we will also come back.
Please don't take away stars because this isn't the Armani's you remember going to for your senior prom! Having lived in Florida for most of my life I can say that my family used to go to Armani's only for special occasions and it was very formal (jackets were provided for men who weren't wearing one). THIS IS THE NEW Armani's, with a creative, exceptional head chef. It is still a gem, with white tablecloths, the best view, superior service and great for when you really want to impress. However, you do not need to wear a dinner jacket or tie, the food is still Northern Italian but some items have a beautiful contemporary twist. I must highly recommend the butternut squash soup, the Arancini (OMG SO GOOD), the mushroom risotto, the AMAZING lasagna, the osso bucco - every dish we tried was fantastic but these were spectacular. Forget the same old Tampa steakhouses for just one night. Try Armani's again. You will not be disappointed (especially if you are not expecting it to be the Armani's of the 70's).
Dinner was lovely. The food was delicious and beautifully plated.
A few criticisms - the bartender was not very good and no nuts were served with the drinks. Also the coffee used to be served with whipped cream, rock sugar on a stick, and chocolate shavings - no longer!
very disappointing. Food was very salty and octopus was burn.
Extremely disappointed! It was a very special occasion which cannot be recovered. We counted on their reputation to deliver. They did not. Recommend you try Ocean Prime, Ruth’s Chris or Bern’s for that kind of money on a special occasion.
I have been to Armani many times always thought of it as one of the best restaurants in Tampa, the menus has changed drastically and not for the best, limited appetizers , not really any longer specializing in northern Italian cuisine in fact besides the antipasto ( heavily pushed by staff) not many more Italian dishes besides few pastas. We had the octopus as appetizer was overcooked and slightly burned, we had the lobster tail as extra plate with dinner was dry and very small portion more a langoustine tail. Will definitely not return or recommend
Had a great experience here this past weekend Great atmosphere, fantastic view of Tampa Bay. I would recommend going to catch the sunset. On the expensive side, but the food was good. There is an outdoor deck area that seemed to be a well kept secret. If you go be sure to check it out. I would definitely dine here again.
Great view, friendly and helpful staff. Wine, veal and prawns were fantastic. Piano player played lightly in the background. Capped off our dinner with cannolis and Tiramisu with coffee. We will definitely go back.
Food have no taste does not worth the price
Dinner over cooked very disappointing
We were celebrating, and Armani's restaurant has a special occasion/date night vibe. The veal chop is excellent -- highly recommend it. And the caramel with choc cookie crust dessert was delicious too. It was kind of an interesting experience that night for us, could have been bad but ended up being good . Our server forgot to bring our appetizer or tell us that they were out of that item. Salad came out quickly so we just thought it would come after. But when our entrees came out, server realized and was so overly apologetic trying to make it up to us with comped salad and dessert. We ordered wine by the glass with dinner which did not arrive until we were almost done that course -- again, he comped us the glasses of wine too. So we would go back again for food and ambiance -- despite the hiccups on the food and beverage service.
Can’t beat the view here. The cocktails are good also though the bar service is slow. The food is good all around - some dishes are outstanding (the squash soup for example) and other dishes are just so-so (famous veal chop and elk). The service staff while dining was 10-star.
Walking in you are hit with the beautiful view of the bay. We enjoyed sitting in the lounge for a cocktail while listening to the piano. The antipasti bar was amazing. I had the Veal chop and my fiance' had the Seafood Cippino was amazing. We will be back.
my boyfriend has been wanting to go to armani’s for so long so i brought him for his birthday and everything went perfect including the food and customer service. christiana our server made our night great!
Wonderful meal! Excellent service! Thanks to our hostess, server and manager Steve for making it even better! Watched a gorgeous sunset outside with our drinks, then went back inside to enjoy our delicious meal with a fantastic view! Had the four course Groupon meal deal and everything was delicious from the bread to the dessert! We’ve eaten a lot of scallops over the years being at retiree age,but these were the biggest and the tastiest we’ve ever had! Thanks to our waiter for recommending the butternut squash soup,it was killer! Better than mine and I’m a good cook! Lol We were treated so nicely, would love to go back!
Excellent service! We had a request for a table change and they were extremely accomodating! Lovely experience.
Armani’s has fallen in all categories
Second cocktails not made with same ingredients as first
Wine selection was brought to table and was a different year, vintage, of lesser quality
Server indicated they should have changed wine list
Appetizers were decent although oysters merely adequate
Veal scalliopini and is so buccaneer had been under lights in kitchen too long sauce was dried
We even had to ask what was up with dinners
They were not busy
Desert adequate but nothing worth suggesting
Will not return
Absolutely not worth the cost
The service was outstanding and exceeded all expectations. The view from the outdoor balcony was magnificent. Unfortunately we were disappointed with our food as it was less than satisfactory and fell short Armani's high standards. Some of the seafood from the Misto Bar was tough and hard to chew. Also, the risotto was salty and lacking a decent portion of wild mushrooms.
A wonderful experience, our first time there and we will be going back!
Beautiful location over looking Tampa Bay sunset with excellent service! Northern Italy cuisine specializing in Veal and pasta dishes. We loved the food...enjoyed the seasonal butter nut squash, scallops appetizer, Veal Chops main course, and ended with a wonderful Tiramisu desert!
Purchased a Groupon and they had the menu for you to choose from. Others were there with the same
Groupon and enjoying the evening.
We were given the their regular menus that are filled with so many interesting items to choose from. We had both made our selections and when the waiter found out we had a groupon for the tasting menu he took the original menus from us and replaced it with a piece of paper with only two options. Chicken or fish. These choices were not vegetarian or vegan. They were also plain considering the options available on the regular menu.
We would go back for a special occasion, but never order the tasting menu.
Used a Groupon that never said it was going to be a pre-fix menu instead inferred it would be a value-based amount and you would choose from the menu items. So being forced into salty bland chicken Parmesan or the scallop dish but my partner ordered had 2 Diver scallops swimming in an ocean of risotto. But wait there’s more the rockhard cannoli for dessert two thumbs down from me sorry
The service was great our waiter was knowledgeable and sweet . The food was complex we enjoyed our celebration
Chef Jon did an amazing job. The flavors in the food are ridiculous. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. Definitely suggest going, and will be going back.
Great service! Everyone is so nice and I feel like they genuinely cared about my experience being a great one for our one year. I will be going back for another special occasion
I was staying in the Hyatt Hotel for business and ate here on my first night in town. The service at the bar was dependent on who you knew or who you were. I ate my meal at a table in the bar area and wondered if I had a waiter or waitress assigned to my table. Seemed to just be a runner as I only saw them when they took my order and dropped off my check. I decided to give them another try the next night and I was pleasantly surprised. The hostest remembered me and gave me the same table that night and the next night. Very welcoming. I had a different person wait on me who was attentive. The bar staff still subpar for this type of restaurant when it came to friendliness and who you knew and who you were. But the food was great and the atmosphere and view spectacular. Would recommend for dinner.
That was the best experience ever. I really enjoyed it and just want to go back soon. Thanks guys for the excellent job. Beautiful view and environment, thanks
Excellent antipasti bar followed by tasty pasta. Our server Kylie was exceptional.
The sever, Kylie, was inattentive and seemed generally disinterested in her job.
When I arrived for my 8pm reservation and pulled up with my guest who has limited mobility, I was told that valet parking was full so I had to pull into the garage on the office side- pretty embarrassing. Then when I ordered burrata as appetizer, the waiter said they ran out of it. Food was okay, nothing fantastic, and the bailey's gelato was way too soft and melting. Sorry, won't be back to visit again. I expected better.
the waiter did not explain anything in the beginning. I think he was new to the restaurant.
he took our drink orders. when he brought the drinks back we put in an appetizer order. after a while, he came back to take our dinner orders, we placed them with no special offered or sides.
we asked the assistant waiter what was in the center of the restaurant as we thought it was a dessert bar.
he explained it was antipasti buffet. we said our waiter never offered it to us and we went and looked.
we asked our waiter later on about it and he apologized for not telling us about it.
later we went on to order our dessert and at that time he offered us a special that was not on the menu.
so we weren't even sure if there were any dinner specials.
the main waiter was very nice but needs to be trained in what the restaurant has to offer and he should explain to the customers.
The only thing better than the food was the service.... AND THE VIEW!!!!! Wonderful date nite spot. Thank you to Jay for a great table.
