Armani’s signature antipasto bar allows guests to create their own first course from a selection of more than 30 items and a dedicated station offers fresh made-to-order Caesar salads. The “primi piatti” menu includes vegetarian, pasta and soup selections, while main courses range from veal scaloppini with a porcini-truffle reduction to bison ribeye over Italian gratin.
While we pride ourselves on being the top special occasion restaurant in Tampa, we do not guarantee a specific table type or view, we will seat best available table upon arrival to Armani's.

We made the reservation as an anniversary and it was nice but nothing special to help celebrate. The cocktail waitress had an attitude, exclaiming “I can only do so much” so loudly she could be heard across the room, several times as we waited for a table. I had to approach the bar to get drinks; she was patronizing and angsty when she did serve us, which isn’t what I expect from the style of restaurant we chose. In the dining room, we were seated near several quite loud parties which made a quiet conversation a challenge. Service was good but not 4 star. Same with food. For the price, it should be special. It was okay. We won’t soon be back. No dessert or special treatment for anniversary...just a quiet table would’ve been special. But I did very much enjoy the company. :)
We always sit in the bar area because we love to hear the pianist play as we watch the sunset. It’s a pretty view! The food and service here is always excellent.
The service was very friendly and knowledgeable of dishes served. The food was outstanding! Great views and comfortable environment. we picked the Chef's choice at the charcuterie bar but you have the option to tell the Chef what you'd prefer...it was incredible! We will definitely be making reservations here again.
It was amazing, Chef Jon is great!
Food was amazing and the views of Tampa Bay was spectacular.
I had the rigatoni bolognese and it was perfectly seasoned. My boyfriend had the veal scallopini and it was ok. It could've used more seasoning, but it was ok. Overall, this place is worth it. We will be back.
Our dining experience at Armani's was fabulous. Service was exceptional, professional and at same time very friendly and thoughtful. Before dinner we stopped in the hotel bar and the bar manager sent a message up to Armani mgmt to provide us with a complimentary drink/wine on the house. We were celebrating our anniversary. Loved the view and the food did not disappoint. Thanks to everyone w ho made our experience a memorable one.
Armani’s never disappoints. Great view, great food and outstanding service and ambiance. I have been to Armani’s several times and it is always consistent.
Nothing else to say.
Love the patio and the view......the food is excellent and service is above all!!!
We take job candidates their after a long day of interviewing. The food is great, atmosphere wonderful and it's nice that they can just retire to their room after a wonder dinner.
I go to a lot of restaurants and that was the WORST service I have ever had at restaurant. I will tell alllll my friends to never go and spend that kind of money at a nice restaurant and get that kind of service also I felt so bad because it was my wife 50 birthday 😞😞😞
The food was great and the view was spectacular. You will not be disappointed if you go.
Outstanding food, especially the Scallops and Osso Buco. We thought it was especially thoughtful that the chef left the nuts out of the Pesto that the Tuna Crudo was served with for those with allergies, but is able to add them for everyone else. The also separated the Gelato (my wife is allergic to dairy) from the complimentary (it was our anniversary) Calda Crostata di Mele Cimelio. All of the staff was extremely pleasant. The food came out quickly, was hot, fresh and delicious. The setting is lovely with a beautiful view of Old Tampa Bay and an outstanding sunset. I would highly recommend a dinner out at Armani's.
P.S. My wife and I had close to an hour drive to get there, well worth the trip!
Very good service. Ambiance was good but could use some room dividers, plants etc to cut down on the noise. Tables are so close that you have to shout to be heard at your own table.
I Probably should have gotten something other than the ribs, they were dry and tasteless.
Also, the restaurant can use some TLC. Rugs are a bit grimy, chairs have cracks and stains, paint peeling.
Would have a great view of the sunset but they have to keep the blinds closed to block the sun!
Food was amazing
Service needs major improvement
Armani’s is considered fine dining. If you can’t hold the fine dining standards maybe working front of the house is not for you ! We heard one of the lounge servers explain one of the items “ not burnt “
The food is delicious and creative , if only the front of the house could keep up with the kitchens standards
I love coming here! I go every year on my birthday and they never disappoint.
Chef John came to our table and made some recommendations for our meal and also told us about the new menu coming out later this month. He let us try a couple of the items on the new menu. Can't wait to try the new menu. Our meal was very good and the service was spot on. We had the osso buco, lamb chop, elk rack and lasagna. All was delicious. Will definitely be back sooner then later.
I came in with my family for my mother’s birthday. It was a great experience Kaylee was a sweetheart and went above and beyond to help us surprise my mother. The pianist was awesome, and the Gnudi with jumbo lump crab meat was incredible.
The most ”romantical” restaurant in Tampa Bay. World class food, staff, service, views and sunsets 🌅.
Service and food were outstanding! We had a reservation at 6:45 and the view of the sunset was perfection!!
Need to fix the door closure to patio. The constant slamming doesn’t reflect well on the ambiance and elegance of the dining experience.
Create your own antipasto was amazing! Ambiance and water views are breathtaking. Our waiter, Khalid was excellent - attentive and offered great menu suggestions. Make sure to come hungry!
Incredible food, beautiful sunset views, and wonderful staff. Couldn't ask for more.
Excellent experience. Beautiful atmosphere with a fantastic view. Excellent service top notch. Food was fantastic. Squash soup with marshmallow was great. Grilled octopus app was very good. Elk was very good. Wine list could be a bit better. 5 star!!
Nice romantic setting with a beautiful view of the Bay. Our foursome decided the food was good but not great so did not meet expectations. All in all, our experience was—extraordinary view with ordinary food and service. May return for Happy Hour on the high-level veranda where expectations will be different.
Fantastic food. Beautiful atmosphere and exceptional service.
Hade service issues but management made itvright
Armani’s provides a wonderful atmosphere for most occasions. I think it would be helpful if you could choose an area of the restaurant that would best fit your occasion. We were there for an intimate dinner, but the bright lights and noise from a wedding party were not conducive to our needs and desires. I know as we went to our table, there were more quiet and intimate areas of the restaurant that would have been better suited to our particular situation. Just a thought.
Thank you, John! We appreciate your feedback!
Elegant, delicious and delightful.
A relaxed, beautiful experience.
Service was excellent, ambience and views just perfect.
Food is lovely.
Thank you for your kind words!
THE best food in Tampa hands down. My boyfriend and I are big “foodies” and have been almost everywhere in Tampa. The portions and quality of food are outstanding. The menu is created by Chef Jon, who came out to our table to explain some of the dishes (what specific ingredients he used, how he came up with the concept, etc) If you are one to like to hear about the dishes you are eating or want know the back story, ask your waiter to have Chef Jon to come out. We always do and he goes above and beyond. Very high class restaurant but not overly expensive. We both ordered pasta which was around $18-$20 each. We had the butternut soup...came with a roasted marshmallow...absolutely amazing. Last time we went we ordered the cheese board...it was the largest cheese board I’ve ever seen. Not only is the food amazing, but it’s located on the top floor of the building overlooking Tampa Bay. If you go, request a window seat...they are happy to reserve one for you. While you are waiting for your dinner, you are able to go out on the large outside patio to enjoy the view. Your waiter will come get you when your food is ready. The service is outstanding...you have a waiter and a waiters assistant. There wasn’t one time I ever had to ask for water, for new utensils, and I never had a finished plate sitting in front of me. If you haven’t been to this restaurant, I urge you to check it out.
WOW! What a lovely review! Thank you very much for your kind words and many details! We are very happy that you enjoyed it and look forward to seeing you again soon!
Loud, poor service, mediocre food overrated! Waitress poorly trained long food wait and quality of food soso.
A very nice restaurant with beautiful sunset views. However, there was a huge noisy group that evening we dined which was a little disturbing. There should be a private room for large numbers.
Service was polite but not too friendly, food was good, we were given a complimentary desert for our celebration which was a very nice touch.
We will return!
Thank you for your honest feedback, Juliet! We look forward to having you again soon!
Service was impeccable. Food excellent, and an overall wonderful experience!
Extremely slow and disjointed for the price and expected level of service, starting with the front door.
Always outstanding. Book any night we are free when in Tampa. Our server, john is always excellent and the best we ever have anywhere. Antipasto bar is unbelievable and menu covers anything you can think of and is just fresh, great portions and incredible flavor. Love all but misto is the best in the country (and I have had it all over the country). Been coming for 4 years now and always perfect. A must for anyone in Tampa
Thank you, Terrance! We will be sure to pass along the praise to John. We appreciate the kind works and look forward to seeing you during your next visit!
I specifically requested a table by the window looking at the ocean and they did not reserve a table for me there. They gave me a table overlooking the parking lot and airport. Wanted to see the sunset and couldn’t even see that.
We apologize for not being able to accommodate your request for a bay view window. Due to the high demand of bay window requests, we do not hold or reserve any tables and instead seat them on order of arrival. We hope to be able to accommodate you in the future.
Unfortunately the food was not very good. They have removed a lot of our favorites like lobster bisque soup and replaced it with yellow squash soup. Yuck!
The steaks were burnt on the outside and then surrounded by tomatoes soup- who does that!!
Three of us had the brisket steak and were all very disappointed with it.
The server was great and needs to be applauded. Ambience was beautiful of course!
Biggest complaint- food was gross and cost a lot!!
My wife and I used to dine here weekly because it was consistently amazing. Since we were staying at the Grand Hyatt, we decided to have dinner Friday night. It was a far shot from the amazing restaurant we remember. I can only guess there is new management. The food was terrible and the service was worse. Neither one us were happy and were practically ignored when we mentioned it. Management didn’t visit our table and the wait staff didn’t even offer an apology for the experience. We will not be returning to Armani’s for quite a while.
