Armani’s signature antipasto bar allows guests to create their own first course from a selection of more than 30 items and a dedicated station offers fresh made-to-order Caesar salads. The “primi piatti” menu includes vegetarian, pasta and soup selections, while main courses range from veal scaloppini with a porcini-truffle reduction to bison ribeye over Italian gratin.
While we pride ourselves on being the top special occasion restaurant in Tampa, we do not guarantee a specific table type or view, we will seat best available table upon arrival to Armani's.
Monday - Thursday: 6pm - 10pm
Friday: 6pm - 10:00pm
My date and I had a great experience here and will be back. The food and service were fantastic and I highly recommend taking a walk onto the outdoor patio.
The guy who help us didn’t know about wines. Appetizers was very salted. The Rockefeller Oysters aren’t good. Between appetizers and. Maid dishes we wait 30 minutes. They doesn’t ask for allergies and my wife is. Very noisy. Tables have a wooden base that you kick when you are seated.
Very nice restaurant. Staff is exceptional, friendly, and helpful. Food is delicious and unique. They made date night for me and my wife a special night. A memory for life from our weekend escape to Tampa!
Wonderful experience; excellent food, service, view and atmosphere. It couldn't have been better. Will definitely be back.
I can't believe they gave us burnt fish. I usually give a 5 star, but 4 of us ask for fish, and the fish was burnt, that is why I gave a 2 star.
Service was nice. Our server was very friendly. Food was beautifully done and flavor was decent. The atmosphere is beautiful, clean, and view is stunning.
I would return perhaps for a drink and view
Armani's was excellent. The reservations around sunset fill up quick so I would recommend booking well in advance if you want a view of the sunset while you eat. However, you could always get a later reservation and arrive early to enjoy the lounge or patio which both have a great view of the bay.
Started off well, however, we waited for hour for apps and soup and 2 hours for our entree. The food was fair, but honestly did not feel like we got value for our money. Our server was very nice and professional, but she did not address the wait even after we commented. The antipasto plate was second to none, and by far the highlight of the evening.
Great service and delicious food! Great waterfront view.
This restaurant had a beautiful view but everything is over priced and food was not that good for the price!
Service by Holly and Scott outstanding. View Tampa Bay,food amazing Highly recommend for all occasions
Scream kid in the restaurant caused very unpleasant evening out
It was awesome as always.
Tonight I had the veal scallopini with the house made creamy feta chard it was to die for . Armani’s never disappoints five star
From the moment we walked in and even on the way out we felt “special”. Everyone at the restaurant was attentive and very helpful. They all seemed to enjoy working their.
Our server recognized our occasion and even supplied a complementary dessert.
First time at Armani’s for birthday dinner. Seated immediately with reservations with Choice of table. Seated at window table for fabulous view of sunset on Tampa Bay. Enjoyed piano music in bar area. Service was friendly and efficient. Lobster ravioli was different and delightful. Treated to delicious chocolate desert for birthday. Highly recommend!!!
This restaurant has been on my bucket list since moving to FL four years ago. A special date shared the evening with me. The ambiance and the view are worth the trip. Our server's assistant was great, our server, not very attentive (we thought we spent enough for some attention, but maybe not). Each serving presentation was amazing, the taste only OK. I've eaten much better for significantly less. A special place for a special evening, but off my list for the future. There are better restaurants in Tampa if good food is important.
My boyfriends birthday! Wish there could have been music playing in the background. Everything else was outstanding.
Our anniversary dinner at Armani's exceeded our expectations. The staff was professional, courteous and attentive, without being intrusive. This last point was what helped make the evening so pleasant; the staff knew when to come to the table to check in, remove items or replenish and when to leave us alone to enjoy our meal and conversation.
The food was excellent from appetizer to dessert, with understated but appealing presentation of each course. We especially enjoyed the chef's choice for antipasto, which was a better selection than what we would have made serving ourselves at the antipasto bar. Also, our server listened to our general preference in wine and made a suggestion that matched our tastes with our main course.
We were there at dusk, so our table by the west windows afforded us a beautiful view of a typical Florida Gulf Coast sunset. Before that, it was fun to watch fish and dolphins down near the mangroves.
As noted, all the food was good, but the Lobster Bisque, Hudson Valley Duck, creamy Polenta and White Chocolate Cheesecake stood out.
We will definitely return for a future anniversary or to celebrate family visiting from outside the area.
Great food, ambiance, soothing piano music and great service. A winning combination!
Perfect Dinner: Pittsburgh style Waygu filet, with Plumpjack cabernet, Oysters Rockefeller, Lobster Ravioli, and, Chocolate Mousse. A sophisticated pianist provided fluid themes with big city improvisations.
Every time we go to Armani's it's always superb. Somehow, we are lucky to always have a window seat to view Tampa Bay and watch the sun set. We have never been disappointed in the menu selections.
Great view. Our waitress Maria was awesome rest of staff was a bit haughty. There is no energy here it's a bit stuffy but classy if that is what you are after. Food very mediocre.
Lovely ambiance, amazing view of the bay both from inside and from the deck, great service, and just an outstanding experience. Highly recommended!
What a nice venue and fine dining option yet portion size is a bit small given the food cost. Wine list includes world wide availability and is well represented for an average price point (hard to find a selection above average for less than $60 ex: Prisoner $95).
Creme brulee had a bit of a twist- nut meg and cinnamon not a fan at all so we left it and it went unnoticed by our server to even ask if it was not up to par. It would have earned a better rating if we did not have to continuously ask for staples to be provided on our table and the wait time for our entree was ridiculously long, 50 minutes on a moderately slow night. My expectations were high and this night barely met them.
Seating host and hostess confused. Had res but they mixed up who arrived first( we did) but seated three parties ahead of us. Menu is boring....too much the same, year after year. Came for Branzino...not available. Antipasto seemed old and tired. Wait staff acted as though they were doing us a favor. Felt rushed and disrespected.
Food was better (freshness and presentation) at Eddie V and Ocean Prime both of which we visited last week. Everything is better at Cafe Ponte and Mis en Place, except the view. We have been coming since you opened, brought guests from all over the globe. Sad you have lost your edge. Oystercatchers is so much better than you are. Menu needs update, as does prep. Wait staff needs training and manners.
Food is excellent. Wait staff is friendly but needs to be more 5 Star.
A pleasant birthday dinner experience.
Everything was great except the quality of the food. I felt it was a substandard for the price being paid.
Armani's didn't disappoint. They provided great service and the food was delicious! It was raining the night we were there, but the view was still amazing!
Fantastic service, ambiance, and food. Everything was spectacular.
This was my first visit back to Armanis after almost 10 years. The view is amazing and the service was first class. I would come back here anytime for a romantic predinner cocktail over looking Tampa bay. Piano music, good wine list and great atmosphere. My wife and I were disappointed in the food though. She had the rack of lamb and I had the lobster ravioli. We have much better at other restaurants in Tampa. That being said the experience still made it a very nice evening.
We had a wonderful birthday dinner. The restaurant is beautiful and the view is one of the best, if not the best restaurant view in Tampa. I would suggest improving on the rooftop area. An outdoor rooftop bar is missing and with a view like that, it's a must!
Our service was excellent. We enjoyed our meals at our pace - we were never rushed. The Bay View was spectacular at sunset. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and the complimentary birthday dessert was wonderful. We ordered the appetizer plate with a wide variety of delicious choices, filet and veal for our entres with fettuccine and risotto all well prepared and delicious. The only disappointment was the Cesar Salad I wouldn’nt recommend it. Valet park your car it is very convenient! We love our experience at Armani’s!!!
I was skeptical about how my first dinning experience was going to be at Armani's because I had heard not great things in the past but we were pleasantly surprised and had a fabulous experience. The stand out dishes for me were the Oyster Rockefeller and veal sweetbreads. We went on a Thursday night so it wasn't busy and had a wonderful view of the sunset. Our server was superb she was very attentive and to the standards of fine dining. The new chef Jonathan was kind enough to come out and greet us and after speaking with him some we could tell he had passion for the job and desire to improve restuarant.
Beautiful venue with panoramic views of Tampa Bay and cityscape. Attentive service and nicely prepared, authentic entrees.
Very disappointed about the quality of the food. They have the best spot in Tampa but they need to hire a very good chef and upscale the quality of the food.
My wife and I have visited Armani’s for the past many years. It has been on our list for special occasions. The view is magnificent. The ambiance is very nice. The food has been very good in the past. But this last time we were very disappointed. It did not meet our expectations at all. The waiter was very polite but not knowledgeable as expected in a restaurant of this caliber. When we asked about our choice of wine, it was obvious that he was making up some description of the bottle. ! We would have Preferred to hear that he did not know the wines on the menu rather than using impressive wine words that did not make sense at all. We decided to go ahead and order a bottle of it anyway. It was nothing like he had described yet it was a very good wine ! The waiters suite did not fit and was not clean and pressed. It would be ok in a regular chain restaurant but not at the level expected at Armani’s.
The food was of average quality and presentation. Not in par with the food expected from this level of restaurant. We ordered the scallops which was good but average. Nothing special. The veal dish we had ordered was over cooked, over oiled, and lacked the presentation expected of Armani’s over the years. We sent it back. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants because of great view and ambiance with decent food. But with this last experience, we would not go back. We are sad about this as we really used to like it. It was not worth it. Tampa has much better restaurants now which would leave Armani’s in the dust. It is nothing special anymore. Just another mediocre restaurant in a beautiful location.
The Veal Chop was superb and the Sweetbread app excellent as well. Those were the highlights because the guest experience was ill managed. They had 7 days and 20 minutes to arrange for a window view of the bay per my reservation on my anniversary and failed. We were sat 20 minutes past the reservation in a seat with a four-top between us and the window. So we asked for a window seat and got a view of the freeway. Our waitress was knowledgeable, professional and gracious but we rarely saw her. Our pasta course was served cold and had to go back (they comped it). Even when we were waiting at the bar to be seated the overwhelmed bartender was running out of room due to the dozens of empty bottles and glasses he had stacked up on every empty space. Seemed like there was a missing manager.
Enjoyable experience, nice view and great food!
