Could have been better. I was expecting better choices.
Food were excellent. Our waiter Roberto was fantastic! Great place to celebrate a birthday with my honey privately with a water view.
Great place for a special birthday dinner!
The easier was great
Food was so salty even the salad. They said no salt was added to ‘entre but so salty couldn’t eat it without washing it off with lemon. Very dissatisfied
Food was terrible. The waiter though was really good. He tried. Restaurant seems like it is closing.
Birthday for Rev Richardson
We ate outside with dog and they us feel like we were still fine dining. Very hard to do with outdoor patio
I recently had a business dinner at Aqua. We have dined there several times before. Overall the food is very good with the noise level quiet enough making it conducive to talking whereby you can hear one another.
I ordered the bouillabaisse and it was excellent.
It had a Lobster Tail included with the other Seafood in the Soup.
My business friend, who is Vegan ordered a Vegetarian flat bread,
along with a Vegan Pasta.
I tasted both and they too very excellent.
All of the vegetables were cooked perfectly and were fresh.
I live about 20 miles from Aqua, but nevertheless, will dine there again when the occasion rises.
The food wasnt bad, except the prawns, overpriced for what you recieved.
Service was poor, new service was all over the place. Not proper service. Lacking experience.
My daughter was in town from BROOKFIELD, WI visiting me.
Great experience I would go back again.
We had reservations for 9:30pm to celebrate our 5 year anniversary, which we told them. They called at 8:50pm and told us if we weren’t there by 9pm (in 10 min, 30min before our reservation) they were closing and can’t serve us. We live 30min away so that wasn’t an option. That was very inconsiderate and they shouldn’t make reservations they can’t keep. We had to find a a random restaurant to celebrate our ANNIVERSAY!
Terrible service! The waitress was condescending and rude. Made a reservation just to be told that a reservation does not guarantee a seat. The food was disgusting. The staff was apathetic. They were understaff and the kitchen was backed up. Some of the items on the menu weren’t even available. The managers are blind to their terrible service and everyone, from the waitress to the manager, lacked customer service skills! Never going back again and I’ll be surprised if that restaurant stay open more than a year under their current a management!
Not impressed. Remove items from menu if you no longer serve that item.
The food, service and restaurant were great. I loved the pretty view. The only problem was that our Open Table reservation never made it to Aqua and there were problems with us getting the seat we had requested.
2 of the servers were not aware of what juice they served for breakfast... they had to call over a 3rd server. The weekend breakfast buffet was “okay”. Our dinner experience was a mixed review. The manager was not pleasant & we observed her speak loudly to several employees. We had a reservation but were told there would be a wait because they had a sudden influx of guests show up... how is that acceptable for customers who made reservations 2 weeks ahead? The dinner server was pleasant, but he had far too many tables. The food was excellent. The chef was clearly skilled and he was able to “save” our dining experience.
We had to wait for half an hour because the kitchen wasn’t ready. The crab legs were frozen and the wine was horrible
Outstanding. The restaurant had a good ambiance, along with good food and service. Definitely worth a visit
Good sushi, outside seating, fresh fish dinner, salmon is outstanding
The hostess was Very rude even though it was shift change communication should be maintained and my order was messed up and the lobster I added was horrible. Bailey tried though.
Food was great. Poorly managed. Understaffed. Couldn’t seatctables with reservations due to lack of staff.
When I booked online, it was last minute Saturday night so I was surprised by how much availability there was. Upon arrival however I was told that despite having a reservation it would be approximately 25 minutes before I would have a table after my reservation time. In fact it was almost an hour after my original reservation when I finally was seated at the table. This pattern seemed to repeat itself when I saw patron after patron arriving with a reservation and being told they would have to wait. I am suspicious that the restaurant is gaming the system to appear that they have availability so that customers will show up. The food itself was excellent and our waitress was very professional. Still no one likes to be taken advantage of. To add insult to injury, the restaurant reported me as a no-show when in fact I arrived five minutes ahead of my Reservation time. Perhaps it was simply a mistake and since the food was excellent, As well as very nice stuff, I am willing to give it another try.
The food was not the best (or the worst) that we have had. My husband didn’t finish his steak because of the amount of grissel in it. The service was good...just super slow. The ambiance was nice...pretty quiet and romantic.
Great management, great ambiance! This is a great place for date night, very romantic
It was my wife’s birthday. We arrived on time and it seemed like the person that greeted us and confirmed our reservation wasn’t sure what to do. She took us to our table with menus and it was at least 15 minutes before our server came. She was cheerful and took our drink order. She recommended the Aqualiton a take off on a cosmo. It wasn’t very good so I waited at least another 20 min before our server showed up. We tried to wave her down and put the cocktail towards the end of the table so she would notice. We ordered and were told several things were not on the menu any longer because they are getting a new menu and not ordering those items. Does that mean we are getting the left over food they haven’t sold. My wife ordered the scallops and I the flounder. Not sure it was flounder since it was a thick fish and flounder is flat and thin. My fish was over cooked and my wife’s was on the verge of raw in the middle. When they brought our dinner we didn’t have silverware so we waited about 5 minutes before we could find anyone to help us and again when we ordered dessert. No silverware. Again we waited and finally the hostess came around said she wasn’t sure and finally showed up with a handful of silverware Ll bunched up with a few napkins. I will say that they did give me a second cocktail on the house, which was appreciated. All in all the restaurant staff lacked training. It seemed as though no one knew what to do and what was proper service.
Food was great! Nice setting. But the restaurant as seriously understaffed. Our waiter, Jonathan did a marvelous job considering how many tables he had to cover. Restaurant management should be embarrassed that they did not staff properly for a Saturday night.
Chris was fantastic! Attentive and food recommendations were spot on
I called to tell restaurant I’d be late, wasn’t asked who I was, just hung up. Considered calling different restaurant then, regretfully I didn’t. Food took quite awhile to come out. Fish clearly smelled of ammonia. Manager offered something different that would be out quickly as we were attending a show and mentioned we were running out of time. Wasn’t in time just as well all 4 meals were disappointing. Don’t waste your time and money here!
Fish was excellent, overall experience was far from it.
Would not recommend this restaurant!
Overall, a very good experience. The mark down on service was not because of the wait staff, but they were clearly understaffed.
Food was very good but service was slow and did not match the food quality and atmosphere. Very poor greeting and front end service. Did not make us feel very welcome.
Our waiter Roberto was fantastic! Few items on the menu were not available that we were looking forward to. We got the lobster asks filet. Filet was the best steak I have ever had! Seriously like butter in your mouth cooked medium. Lobster could have had more meat but experience was perfect meal for an over night get away!
My open table confirmation was not accepted at the restaurant. Even after online reservation they expected me to call and confirm. So we could not go
Told us that are reservation couldn’t be honored and we have to wait for 45 minutes. We ate in the bat
We made a reservation because we knew it was Christmas and there wouldn’t be many places open. When we arrived the hostess said they couldn’t honor our reservation. She said the best they could do was sit at the bar. We obliged and took a high top.
The male bartender waddled over after several minutes and asked what he can get for us. His demeanor was less than appealing and looked quite flustered. We told him that we would be dining and would like menus. While sitting we noticed many other guests having the same situation and the bar becomes inundated with people. The two bartenders worked feverishly to accommodate the restaurant managers poor planning for such a busy holiday.
When our appetizers arrived the mozzarella on the caprese was covered in mold (picture to come). Sending it back was not an option with how busy the staff was with their full bar and full bar seating area. Servers were behind the bar making drinks to help facilitate the bar staff.
The pinnacle was when the manager was running food to the bar and audibly to the tables said to them “I’m not running any more of your food” and to the food runner/busser to stop hanging around at the bar. This kid was running food, restocking them with glassware etc. Quite an unprofessional and flustered reaction to a busy evening in my opinion.
The only redeeming part of this evening was the female bartender who kept herself calm cool and collected and our entrees which were fantastic.
Note for next Christmas. Stay home...
The server was not attentive. Barely saw him. Forgot my drink and never came back to check on the food which was salty.
good small menu with well prepared dishes. The pasta was creative. The special attraction is the location on the water.
The server was great and the food was wonderful!
Dinner with a friend , reservation set for 615! We arrive at 515, headed to the bar for drinks and appetizers. Finished at the bar 605 , walked over to the hostess, tell her reservation at 615. She trying to operate the tablet couldn’t get it to open. She tells us she is “ new” on the job. Poor young lady looks as if she didn’t know what to do or say next.. so I tell her table for “ two”. We get a table .. ordered our dinners , both got clam chowder soups excellent, my was a salmon dish very good. My friend had a shrimp pasta dish .. shrimp were dry and tasted fishy not so much she couldn’t finished it . Overall it was a good evening!
