The food was absolutely incredible (you must get the garlic noodles), and the cocktails were great as well. The ambiance and service are why this is a Michelin recognized restaurant, and I would highly recommend it.

We had the lobster and shrimp dumplings in a wonderful sauce appetizer that was fantastic. I had the Octopus salad and the pieces of Octopus were huge and coated with a spice mix that was very delicious. I had to order 'mild' to make sure I was going to be able to eat it! It was all delicious. It was quiet, a fair amount of people for lunch, service was great, food came out fast, highly recommend.

We have been here many time and the food and service were always good until today. We arrived 15 minutes early and were seated we order drinks and our food. Well 40 mins later still no drinks and then all of our food came out and we asked for our curry noodle dish and were told it would be coming and finally after 40 mins of waiting we asked for our drinks and our noodles come to find out the waitstaff never put those orders in. Very disappointing for $150 meal for two people. Also the portions look much smaller then before and they tried to trick you by using new plates and settings but you can tell the prices went up and the portions are now smaller.

Some items were a little too oily/rich.!the lobster dumplings and sashimi were however just awesome . Found the butterfish a bit oily and the rice underneath sweetness didn’t work for us. Brocollini with bacon was good but tad salty . Overall very good food . Service was just excellent, thanks

If you haven't been to AnQi yet, put it on you radar. The food was delicious and the service and ambiance also 5 star. We went to celebrate my daughter's 30th bday and it was a perfect choice for a celebration. Highly recommend!

Totally enjoyable as always. The menu doesn't change much but we enjoyed every bite. My husband indulged in the lobster with garlic noodles and couldn't have been happier. I usually get the eggplant and wish I knew how to make it at home. The Peking chicken was well cooked but a little salty for my taste, and the Hainan rice doesn't compare to the stellar garlic noodles. Service was very quick and we were happily full in less than an hour.

We frequently visit Anqi for either business or personal affairs, this visit however was by far the most unpleasant experience we have had. Our server was inattentive and not very much friendly to say the least, she was not our usual server and it made a huge difference, she made our experience “sour” and even after having a full coarse meal with cocktails she was still unpleasant therefore we will be looking at our other dining options at South Coast Plaza. Thank to Ms. An for the many pleasant visits we had at your restaurant.

Seated us in some side room in the back next to kitchen even after I let them know it was a celebration for my daughter’s 18th birthday. The table was broken. Food took almost 40 mins to arrive (pretty sure they forgot our order). Steak was chewy and not tender and a bit cold. I usually don’t write reviews but was very frustrated and disappointed with this entire experience. We have been dinning with them for over 15 years at all of their restaurants but after this, not sure anymore.

Some of the menu has changed…in my opinion for the worse…but you can’t beat the delicious garlic noodles. The meat is lower quality, they added some nachos, which just doesn’t go with the ambiance and food collection. The nachos were actually pretty bad. The chicken pop sticks are off the menu. Overall we love coming here, just noticed lower quality food and different menu we didn’t quite like.

Our service was very good. I have been many times to 3 your restaurants that are in the LA and Orange County. We took a friend who was visiting, I was embraced that the noodles were soggy I could not taste the garlic at all. I drove from LA to have lunch at your restaurant told my company it's the best. A wonderful meal at a fun restaurant. My girlfriend had the lamb chops and I had the butter fish and both were spectacular. We shared the kimchi fried rice and the secret garlic noodles. I would dine there just for the noodles! For dessert we had the table side ice cream which is a great presentation. A great night
