The food was superb. We loved everything we tried: the pork boa buns, garlic noodles, orange vegetables, and the prime ribeye on the salt block. We went for my birthday, and we had exceptional service. Our server Chris, made us feel special and tended to in every way. The ambiance it lovely, it feels hip and fancy, without being pretentious. This is my 4th time dining here over the years, and I am always happy to return, and amazed at the great food and even better service.
Food is always absolutely amazing!! This is now our new favorite place to dine.
Fun ambience and decor. We split a bunch of small plates for a meal, and every dish was a mashup of delightful textures and tastes. The Kung Pao Eggplant was a particularly delicious surprise.
second time there and ordered the same dish, filet mignon on rice noodles. First time it was outstanding, this time barely edible, vastly overcooked.

The good thing with Anqi is that it is very consistent. Their food is always good, the service is excellent. My only quibble is that they need to change up their menu more. The rib eye steak on a salt block should be kept as it is a classic as is their dessert with the ice cream made with nitrogen at your table but they should perhaps add more seafood choices to the menu.

We went last night for my husband’s birthday celebration. We ordered the taco and calamari as appetizers, roasted crab, garlic noodles for entrees and a cauliflower side. The presentation was beautiful and everything was delicious. I am used to the original restaurant in San Francisco where you have to crack open the crab yourself. AnQi here did all the work for us which was nice although I would have preferred doing my own work. We notated in the reservation that it was a birthday celebration but the hostess did not share that info with the waiter. Eventually the waiter found out it was my husband’s birthday and kindly offered a complimentary dessert (banana fritters) which was yummy. The crab cost a lot more than we expected. All other dishes we felt was fairly priced.
All the food that we ordered were delicious and unique in preparation! We are now officially fans of House of An and looking forward to try their other restaurants here in SF.
Bartender/servers Josh and Charlie provided fantastic service and great recommendations for drinks and food.
The food and service were excellent. We had the lamb shops, calamari, garlic noodles and a glass of resiling. We left full and satisfied with everything. The only complaint is that reserved patio seating in my reservation, and when I arrived I was told that the patio was only open for dinner. I was a bit disturbed as I am not Toya comfortable eating indoors being that we are still in the midst of a global health crisis. However, I stayed because I had driven 40 minutes. Overall our experience was great. The tables were spaced out, the servers wore mask at all times, and the food was amazing.
I will definitely be back. Please place a note on your communications that the platoon is not open for lunch.
Top quality food and service and ambience
Delicious salt & pepper calamari. Tried the Streets of Saigon cocktail, but didn't like it. Table location was romantic and quiet.
Very good, but used to be spectacular. Famous noodles were a little dry.
The food has definitely changed over the years, I used to love the noodles but now it’s mediocre, chicken wings was too salt, my family enjoyed the orange peel chicken, kimchi fried rice was very oily I couldn’t eat it. The waiter was nice as well as the other staff.

Beautiful interior, makes you feel special by being there. Servers are professional, polite and well informed about how each dish was prepared. Dishes were promptly delivered and so very delicious! I mean this food is top notch - best ingredients and cooked to perfection - be it al dente vegetables or tender steak. We enjoyed the tuna taco appetizer & papaya salad with octopus, followed by garlic noodles, miso butterfish and shaken beef. Can’t say enough favorable words about this restaurant and our dining experience!
Overall it was good as it always is. They changed the ambiance which I liked better pre Covid. We had the Wagu and the snapper. The snapper was amazing however the Wagu was not what I expected. It was grisly which I thought was the opposite of Wagu. But I will still return. My suggestion would be the Shashimi truffle and the Snapper. Both are fantastic. Cheers 🍻

I will preface this by saying that I understand that the entire waitstaff were very professional and friendly. Having said that, I believe this restaurant is short staffed. We'd been to Crustacean and loved the food there so we had high hopes for this restaurant. After being seated for 15 minutes, our waiter finally came around to take our drink order and get us water. The only saving grace is that we got to order the food at the same time as the drinks so we didn't have to wait longer for the food order to be taken. We ordered their famous dishes to share, An's famous roasted crab ($90 was the market price), An's famous garlic noodles with prawns, truffle sashimi, Crustacean shaken beef, Octopus & Papaya salad, table-side ice cream dessert, a lychee martini and beers. We loved all the dishes EXCEPT for the roasted crab. This dish really fell short of expectation both in taste and portion for $90. The roasted crab was described by one of the people in my group as something that just came out of a can and sautéed to a "warm" temperature. Hardly worth the $90 price tag. I would also say that the other dishes all seem overpriced given the small portion size. The only good thing I can say is that at least the taste met our expectations and the ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful.
Our total bill came out to around $350 (pre-tip) which I would've gladly paid if the food and service was better. While I'd love to give this restaurant another chance down the line, I'd be hesitate to go there soon given the price and experience. I honestly would've rather gone elsewhere less expensive for dinner. We were all very disappointed with our experience.

I finally succumbed to the hype and ordered "famous" roasted crab and garlic noodles from the Secret Kitchen menu. I suppose it's hard to live up to the hype; the dishes were fine but not outstanding. And very pricey at $95 market price for the crab and $20 for the noodles.
Service was poor, inattentive, almost non-existent. Had to flag down another server for service.
Ambiance is nice.
The food was pretty bad. Too salty. The service was pretty slow and spotty. We waited a good 20 minutes before someone came to take our order. We won't be going back.

I went to AnQi for the first time for an early birthday celebration. The staff were very attentive, incredibly friendly and gave great recommendations. We tried the tuna tacos (the best), pork belly bao, garlic noodles and shaken beef. Everything was cooked to perfection, and as a self-proclaimed foodie I had no critiques. We will certainly be back!

Absolutely loved my experience! The food, service and ambience was superb. Five stars for Christopher - he was extremely professional and perfect in every way! The food was delicious, had the calamari, lobster wonton soup, king crab, filet Ming on fried rice, dumplings, dumplings, tacos and the beignets were crazy good! Loves the cocktails as well.. I will be back!
Service was very good. Food was good but very pricey.
All the dishes we tried were excellent. The restaurant had power outage, so we were seated an hour late, but since it is in South Coast Plaza it was no hardship. Would come back again.
