AnQi Ratings and Reviews
Dining here was one of the worst dining experiences. Food was mediocre - bun was soggy and garlic noodle was almost cold when it came out. I expect high quality of service, but it didn't come close. Hall is disorganized, and staffs don't know what they're doing. Drink menu was not given when we were seated. When we finally got the menu after ordering the food, the server didn't come back to take drink orders. I had to ask another server to grab our server for us because our food has come out already, and he asked if I know who he is. Same thing happened when we asked for a dessert menu. He just didn't come by for a good 20 minutes, so we just asked for a check. Another staff brought our check, and she had to ask us if we asked for the check.
Great food but portions are on the small size given the price level but still felt it was an overall good experience. The ice cream with cookie is made tableside with liquid nitrogen...a nice touch. Must do this if you are going to eat here. I will be going here again.
The ambiance at AnQi is gorgeous. They always have fresh flowers and seasonal displays. We happened to catch their Lunar New Year theme. We waited at the bar while we waited for our table. The Lychee martini was amazing.
Once seated at our table, we reviewed the menu. They had a five course tasting menu for Lunar New Year that looked good, but way too much food, so we ordered from the regular menu.
It took thirty five minutes to get our appetizers from ordering (not being seated, from ordering). However, the Filet Mignon Potstickers and the Tuna Tacos were unreal delicious!
After another long lull, we received our salad. We alerted our waiter that there had been a long wait for our previous courses and we were nervous about our entrees coming out timely because we had friends coming over after dinner. (We had already been seated for an hour and not seen our entrees). He told the kitchen was likely backed up due to the intricate tasting menu option.
I totally understand if restaurants are short staffed or didn't expect a back up in the kitchen, but they should communicate that to their customers so the customer can decide if a abnormally long dinner works for their schedule that evening. We noticed the Manager going around to random tables and a lot of guests appeared to be upset for having a similar experience.
The entrees finally came after an hour and twenty minutes after being seated. The Butterfish was fall apart tender and melt in your mouth. The Garlic Noodles were perfectly cooked, seasoned, and outrageously good.
Overall, I would have liked more communication from the staff about why the timing was so off. However, the food was so delicious start to finish, I would be willing to give AnQi another chance and I would still recommend it to a friend. I would however, allow extra time for dining at this lovely place again.
We were here for Valentine dinner. Food is good but portions are small. Service is mediocre. Classical music doesn’t set the mood. Tables are set too close together and wide open. I was able to see people and their food all around me. I don’t recommend this if you intend for nice intimacy private dinner
Excellent food and very good service. We had a reservation but they tried to seat us at a bar area table overlooking the mall entrance. We are wine lovers but thought the average price of wine by the bottle was too high. They need to add some quality choices that are reasonably priced.
We have been to this restaurant several times and liked it a lot. They seem to have made a change in their targeted clientele and it doesn’t include us.
We were ten minutes early and told that we would not be seated until “closer to our scheduled reservation” time. We were warned that the music would be loud and we would be seated away from it. We weren’t. For the first time ever at this restaurant, the food was sub-par.
*** Watch out for the FIVE OUNCE POUR! It’s their new policy. Apparently you’re not supposed to notice.
It is with regret that we are crossing this place off our list.
Really like this place and have been here quite a few times . The customer service has been not good the last few times I have come here . Servers are not friendly and are too busy to provide service needed . We hardly saw our waitress and had to keep asking whoever we saw for items we needed .
Anqi never disappoints. It actually keeps getting better. I had completely cut meat out of my diet for years. I don’t like the smell or taste but I make an exception when I come here. The shaken beef is outta this world. I have taken family/friends here & everyone is now obsessed. My only complaint please bring this small dish of cous cous & crab empanada back. It was to die for.

The service is amazing. Our waitress was very attentive. The whole staff is great. The manager last night was very nice. I saw him helping his staff the entire night. Great customer service. Can’t wait to come back.
Great ambiance and the live music for Saturday dinner was a pleasant surprise! Friendly and attentive staff. Food was presented beautifully, and tasted amazing. Well poured cocktail. They even presented my gorgeous date with a lovely birthday dessert!
Would definitely recommend. Hope to go back soon!
While the garlic noodles were delicious, it would have been nice to have a touch of color added to offset the ugly brown. I had noodles with my beef skewers. My meal was $28 for some beef and noodles. For that price make sure it’s beautiful too. Add a bit of broccoli or green beans to the dish. Don’t like the a la cart menu, felt like it was way too expensive especially for a lunch.
I enjoyed the entire experience, the garlic noodles were some of the best that I have had. all of the dishes were perfectly balanced with the correct amounts of spice and acidity. By far the table side vanilla ice cream chilled with liquid nitrogen was very cool. the perfect WOW moment for any celebration or just a cool night out. Our server was very pleasant and attentive.
I initially ordered the pork chop. It came very over cooked and hard to cut. I switched to the beef which they recommended be cooked medium. I asked for medium rare-medium. It came out completely rare. So much so that even the waitress was shocked. She took it back to cook it more and it came back for a second time rare. Overall I am happy with the restaurant because they did compensate my dinner and gave me a great desert.
We've going to Anqi since it opened. This place is not getting better with time but the other way around! We had a reservation and my husband and I got there first and when the other two in our group came they gave them my name because the reservation was under my name and the hostess told them there no reservation under this name when she just took us to our table. Very disappointed with the service. It took too long for Adam to pay attention and service us! You were out of beer and the one you had took too long to get to the table. We ordered French Fries which never made it to the table.
I made a reservation on December 23 not realizing it was a special menu and had to give them a credit card to hold a 6:30 time. Don’t know why because not all tables were booked. A couple of big holiday parties were in the rooms so it was busy there. We sat down and were shocked at the price 85.00 per person! No other ordering options. We were starving and decided to stay anyway since it was our date night and all other restaurants in the area were booked. Service was great, nice atmosphere, food good, had only one glass of house Cabernet but not sure it was worth the $240.00 bill...
A most excellent dining experience. Fantastic food and service all around...I'll be back and have already recommended to a number of friends and colleagues.
This was a first date with a beautiful lady and you could not have made it more memorable!
Special commendations to front desk staff for placing bouquet of flowers on the table at appropriate time and to Sung, our waiter, who was perfectly attentive at all times and yet unobtrusive to our dining and conversation.
My sincerest appreciation.

Made reservations for 8PM. Checked in with host and was told we will be seated shortly. There were no other parties waiting to be seated. 3 parties of 2 (2 without reservations) walked in after us and all were seated before us. I asked a host and a hostess to check on our table before we were finally seated (15 min after our reservation time and 5 minutes after the last party of 2 were seated). Our server was wonderful but the host staff apparently would rather seat walk ins than reservations made on Open Table.
We went with friends who had never been and they loved it. We’ve been several times and it is always memorable. It’s somewhat expensive but worth it for something special. Everyone had to have the garlic noodles with whatever else they had. Recommend that and the shaken beef or pork chop for the carnivores in the group. Shrimp and lobster for the seafood folks. All is delicious!!
We went to celebrate a birthday, and everyone in our party greatly enjoyed the food, especially the fried calamari and the garlic noodle and rice. There seemed to be more vegetarian options for dinner than for lunch, but it was still a great meal. Our server was also very helpful and took great care of us.
The food was great. The fire alarm went off by accident and the managers were awesome and even gave us a free app for the noise. Everything we had was great! Cauliflower, steak, fish, potatoes, and dessert of tabke side ice cream. We had a great time. Busers were little eager to remove plates but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Great experience for 1st time visit by recommendation!
