Fantastic from start to finish! Terrific service, great food, and perfect date night ambiance. Already planning our return!
Great meal! Only let down was that we were really looking for (and booked) outdoor seating...and while there were 2 tables outside...they were more or less on the sidewalk/in the street. We were easily able to get a table inside and had a lovely meal...but if you are booking this for a fun outdoor dining experience, I would advise you to go elsewhere. :)
Portions were way smaller than expected. Don’t order a salad as a meal....it’s tiny. Food was overpriced for what we got and the experience we were hoping for.
Food was just Ok. We had a really nice waiter and he provided excellent service. I am from NOLA and have had the good fortune to eat at many great restaurants. The food here was good but for the prices charged it needs to up its game. In NOLA it needs to be better than good especially at this price level.
Just a good, medium-formal restaurant with good cocktails and food. The atmosphere is good, not too loud, and overall enjoyable.
From the moment we walked in all of the staff was wonderful, especially our server Rene. He was outstanding. The food was balanced, delicious and walked the line of local and upscale perfectly. We live in New Orleans and will absolutely be back.
Everything was fantastic, and all of the portions were very generous.
Best dining experience in our 4 days in New Orleans!!! Amazing food and drinks, awesome service and nice, relaxing atmosphere!
The upstairs is a bit stark and lonely if you are there before 7. They tried to put us in the darkest corner and we were the only ones there at 6:50, we asked to move of course but it was so oddly barren. Def seat downstairs. Rene the waiter is great!
We were staying at a hotel in the Warehouse District and Annunciation was a close walk on a Sunday night. My husband has a shellfish allergy and wanted to ensure he would have choices at any restaurant in NOLA. Annunciation exceeded our expectations. Food was superb from the beet salad, chicken and sausage gumbo, drum fish entree to the banana foster bread pudding for dessert. Decent wine by the glass selection. Our server, Carlos, was professional and friendly. Restaurant and restrooms were clean. Would definitely recommend and return if in the area. One of our best meals on our 2 week road trip.
100% would recommend for anyone looking for a delicious meal from beginning to end. Great wine selection as well!
Great food and service in a relaxing atmosphere.
We had an impromptu date night this past Sunday and they had open tables, so we went there (hadn't been in years). Great choice. The tables are spread very far apart and they seem to take social distancing seriously. The staff was very friendly. The food is high quality and very fairly priced. The wine list is great. I'll definitely remember this place and will be back again soon.
If you haven't been to Annunciation you are missing out,,the food outstanding,,drinks are even better The Eggplant is wonderful.
Service was excellent. Food tastes were great.
Delicious food and great service.
Great food. Kids enjoyed—enough said. Service was exceptional. Would definitely return
The server was
It was absolutely wonderful!! Fool was great...wait staff on point!!
Annunciation never disappoints. The food is wonderful and the service attentive. Sometimes it can get a bit loud with a boisterous table.... I guess that is true most places.
Check it out if you haven't enjoyed Annunciation yet
good food and great service. will be back but prefer downstairs next time.
Our server Sam was SO WONDERFUL! And the food is amazing. Will definitely be back.
Great service. Loved the food. Definitely upscale and well worth the money. Something for everyone in the family to enjoy. And the desserts were unique and amazing!
Been to most top restaurants in city, I am comfortable saying this was at the top and second to non
Annunciation has always been one of the most comfortably romantic restaurants we have visited. A true local classy place with a modern/historic ambiance, lively entry and bar seating. Our server Carlos was a true gentleman and the bartender Garroway an overall pleasure and never-ending smile. We always look forward to going.
Nice place in the warehouse district. I've been here several times and the food is good and service always great.
We have to say that we enjoyed our meal immensely. I think it was the best meal we have ever eaten in Nola. It was a great birthday celebration.
We really enjoyed our experience. The staff was super amazing
we found the atmosphere to be subtle but elegent in its simplicity. The staff was friendly and informed , the food delightful. We had a wonderful experience.
Great dinner experience. We had a server who was on his first night and he served us exceptionally well. I would recommend To anyone looking for some one on one time with there significant other. Great food and service overall!
Had a solid meal. Expected more from the fried oyster w/ spinach and cheese app. The goute salad(shrimp, crawfish and crab) dish was REALLY good.. The drum yuvonne entree w/ potatoes was great. Crawfish monica with soft shell crab was average(nothing like crawfish monica at Jazz fest). OVERALL great atmosphere, decent meal, good to try, but have more great food elsewhere.
Annunciation has amazingly delicious food and my wife and I loved the atmosphere. If you ever go ask for Carlos. He is not only an attentive waiter but was able to answer all of my pregnant wife’s questions about the menu. Definitely recommend this place
Very good food and a great place to go. The service was a little slow but it was the waiter's first day on the job so he did pretty good under the circumstances.
We were greeted by 2 hosts who seemed unsure where to put us. We asked for a warm table and were seated upstairs in the middle of the room beside the double doors. The server was inexperienced and had no idea about what she was selling or food in general. There was an irritating upsell attempt to add crab to everything, which I'm not impressed by. Drinks took a bit to get out and they couldn't find the bottle of red wine we ordered. Warm bread arrived with unsalted butter which tasted like it had been uncovered in a fridge for a while. The 2 appetizers we ordered just tasted watery, the crab and avocado salad and the beet salad. We finished apps and nothing was cleared when the entrees came. My wife ordered the drum Yvonne but was served a totally different dish, the fish special instead? I ordered the steak medium rare and it came out charred, tough and stringy. The server arrived after the food was dropped but we still had no silverware to eat the food which was now getting cold. I ended up cancelling my 2nd steak as my wife was finished. The best part was the 2 deserts, the pot de creme and the creme brulee. The creme brulee is just vanilla creme brulee with sliced banana on top and almost brulee'd sugar, that too is annoying because it's sold as a banana pudding creme brulee, no-hint of banana pudding and the sugar should be caramelized on top. There was also no management presence at all. It was an absolute disaster and I won't be back. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Great ambiance and location. The food was not up to New Orleans standards in our opinion.
Delicious food, Attentive Service, Reasonable Value!
The service was excellent and the food was even better 10/10 recommended to all my friends as soon as I left. I could not decide what I wanted and our server helped guide me through the menu with the taste of each entrée. Wine selection was great. Overall excellent and friendly staff.
It was a great experience,,food was marvelous,waiter great,,,loved the eggplant appetizer,,,,will return
I ate there on New Years Eve and again last night. Both times the food and service were outstanding. I’m thankful to be in a position to support such a great New Orleans restaurant during this time of crisis....money well spent!
Everything was superb!! Server was so engaging and helpful. I had the duck and my date had the strip steak. Both were cooked perfectly and his pomme frites were AMAZING! Def coming back for those. Well done Annunciation!
