A friendly neighbourhood restaurant just off of Hanger Lane, Anne-Marie at the Taste of the Taj is a traditional Indian dining room with, rather unusually, an Anglo-French proprietor. For several years now Anne-Marie and her team have been a mainstay on the local dining scene, providing maximum comfort, authentic taste and great service at affordable prices, becoming one of the best-loved spots in this part of London. Anne-Marie at the Taste of the Taj is entirely gimmick-less, with no special offers, unfussy surroundings and a simple menu of entirely recognisable, tried and tested dishes cooked by a team of skilled Bangladeshi chefs who concentrate their talents on getting the best out of their ingredients to produce dishes that, while authentic, are also suited to the Western palate. We recommend Anne-Marie at the Taste of the Taj for family suppers, lunches with friends and those pre-pay day treats that won’t break the bank.
