The food was fabulous, one of the best fish dishes I’ve had. Chef Andrea came out to check on us! The cool I art menu was a great value and 35 cent lunch martinis can’t be beat.
Have not been to Andrea's in a while. Service and atmosphere were very good. Food was good but not exceptional. The oysters appetizer was OK and the veal was good but, did not have any zing and was somewhat bland.
Had a wonderful lunch here today! Food as always was fantastic! Chief Andrea always makes you feel special... Thanks!
Fantastic first time experience. Food was wonderful as was service from entry to exit. Booked for return visit in two weeks
The service was perfect and the food was divine!
Our first meal out since March due to COVID, we came for lunch after my daughter's graduation. Chef as kind as always and signed my daughter's cookbook. The waitstaff was wonderful as always, masked, and we were far from any other tables. Thank you Andrea's!
Great anniversary dinner spot. Delicious food and atmosphere
Absolutely delicious, as always. The Salmon pasta was to perfection! Cannot wait to return!
I had an amazing experience at Andrea’s from the moment my family and I walked through the doors. I appreciate the friend lily and attentive environment!
Celebrating our Anniversary with excellent Capri Blue martinis and a lovely dinner. The staff was very attentive. They all came to sing happy anniversary in Italian as they brought our dessert. CAC Andrea came to say hello as he often walks through the dining room to greet his guests. Very personable. Food was tasty and well seasoned with generous portions.
Lunch at Andrea's was amazing. The food was delicious and very generous portions. Plus, the service was attentive but not annoying. The entire experience was perfect!
meets expectations in every category, as always, we consider Andrea's as fine dining
The food was outstanding. The wine list is large. The service was excellent! Had not been there in many years and will return regularly now!
This was 2 out of the four party’s first visit. The other two couldn’t remember why they hadn’t returned. Unfortunately we all now know why. So disappointed. One soup was bland, two corn bisques were bland but tasted like they were over salted. Wedge lettuce was browning, small and was very over priced for the portion size, not traditional blue cheese dressing. Osso Bucco was tough and over cooked, Veal Parmesan tasted a little better than a frozen dinner and the fish special was mediocre. However the epic fail of the night was the Lasagna! Apparently the meat in it had spoiled. One small bite by everyone at the table was enough to ruin the evening. The owner/chef stopped by to inquire how dinner was, we were gentle and polite, but firm. He apologized and substituted another dish but didn’t comp that one dinner. On to dessert. The bread pudding was more like a French toast casserole (spongy texture) and tasted like it was doused in pancake syrup. The Chocolate Mousse was a tad better than chocolate cool whip.
Bill time. We asked for separate checks prior to ordering. All one bill. When we pointed this out, the Server said “split it down the middle?” No, we asked for “separate checks” to which he replied “I didn’t hear you”. Hey I just take the tab and re-ring them up SEPARATELY. Finally got it right.
Listen, every place has an off night, but to miss the mark so badly on every course and to not comp that bad entree in this town? Not a good idea. New Orleans has way to many great dining establishments that have set the excellent Southern Hospitality Bar to choose from.
On to one of those for this group of weekly dinner daters.
Food was wonderful and the service was great.
Always a great experience! Love Chef Andrea!
Went to Andrea's where I had not been in several years. Overall, it was a lot like I remember it, good service, decent food, and a little overpriced for the quality. I had a steak and while prepared well, it was very mediocre piece of meat. Finally, half the wait staff weren't complying with the Covid requirements as they had no masks. If you have any concerns about Covid, I would definitely stay away.
Great food and great service!
Authentic Northern Italian dining experience. Every bite tells a story.
My husband and I celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary at Andrea's. I chose this restaurant because it offered outdoor seating and a fine dining feel. We received not only the experience I was looking for, but live entertainment and a lively mature crowd as a bonus. The food was fantastic and the price was far below what we were expecting.
Outstanding experience. Incredible meal, great staff and Chef Andrea's personal attention, all over the top!
Everyone friendly, food delicious. Very pleasant experience
Nice Old world dining experience.
The food was horrible!! Our waiter brought appetizers as if they were on the house, then we received our bill which definitely showed they were NOT.
Food and atmosphere were great. The piano player could have taken his music down volume wise a notch in the bar. The Valentine menu was a great value.
I would give it another try since my first experience was on a busy dining holiday (Valentines Day), but the service was very slow. Reservation for 4 at 7:15pm, arrived on time and didn’t leave the restaurant until 10pm. And that was with a pre selected menu. The drink glasses were so small and it took forever to get a refill. Had to wait for more drink to be able to eat my food. Had to ask for a lot of things that should automatically be provided like water, straws, lemons for tea and drink refills. Waitress was nice though, but maybe new? The food was very good so I would give it another shot, but not on an overly busy night.
Food was delicious! Presented a beautiful red rose upon arrival. The wait staff wasn’t experienced. Were not able to multi task.
We went on Valentine’s Day and jt really was a terrible experience. Our server was terrible, took forever to come to the table and rarely checked on us. The food was cold, and the server was rude when addressed. Would not be calming back anytime soon
Waiter was horrible and food was cold, will not return
We had the Valentine's Day prix fixe and it was inedible. I'm sure they made tons of money at $50/person, but my wife and I are reeling at home now thanks to crab ravioli and the abomination they called tiramisu.
We had dinner for Valentine’s Day. I don’t think they had enough servers working so it was very slow service. The bread, which is usually amazing, was something they just grabbed and sliced up instead of fresh baked. My fish with crabmeat sauce had a very “fishy” taste and smell. We each had 2 drinks and a glass a wine and the $50/pp plus our drinks skyrocketed to almost $300. The price didn’t equal the quality and service.
Love, love, love Andrea’s. Great food and lovely people.
All of the food was excellent, as was the service and location.
I have dined at Andrea's off and on for thiry years...and love it. The service is always good and pleasant, the food delicious and the prices moderate. My wife and I really like Andrea's.
The brunch menu is fabulous and reasonably priced with generous portions and bottomless mimosas/champagne! I didn't see the brunch menu on Andrea's website, and suggest that Andrea add it to the website menu section.
Hadn't been to Andrea's in a number of years. I don't know why I don't eat here every time I am in New Orleans. Food is always fabulous and service superb.
Great food, atmosphere and service, easy parking. Will return.
Our immediate family decided to try to go to dinner on Christmas night at the last minute due to travel and other obligations. I looked on Open Table and Andrea' s surprisingly was available for a party of 8. Haven eaten there, we knew the food would be good and it was convenient to all. We had no idea HOW GOOD it would be with a very varied and delicious price fixe menu. Everyone loved their VERY generous portions and desserts. It was a perfect way to celebrate and end our Christmas day. Service was excellent and our waiter was exceptional. This may become a tradition, but we will make reservations sooner to assure that we get a table!
