    Our first time back in 2 years. Don’t know what took us so long. There is nothing to say about our experience except Outstanding in every way. Won’t take us 2 more years to return!

    We hadn’t been to Amadeus for several years. We were so pleasantly surprised to find them open and with the same high quality of food, service and value that they have always had. We had a mix of happy hour appetizers (amazing value!) and dinners. Everything was delicious, beautifully prepared, served hot, plenty of food, and a good price. The restaurant was very busy (especially for a Thursday night), but the service was quick and attentive. We highly recommend.

    Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and enjoy it very much. A couple of patrons at the bar were a little annoying but that wasn’t the restaurant’s fault. I would recommend this restaurant.

    We were pleasantly surprised by our dining experience last night. We were quickly greeted by Erica ( she's new) and from that point on was just amazing. The food was exquisite. Wine was right out of the bottle and dessert decadent. Thank you for a great evening and we will be back soon.

    This is a classy, amazingly delicious restaurant! My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here last night and highly recommend it! The Classic (steak medallions) and The Leeky Boat (cod fillet) were exceptional, as was the ving-vong (vegan ding-dong) dessert. We can’t wait to return!

    Food was great and overall a good experience. Because the dining room was booked, we ate in the bar. Service was a bit slow because it was busy and it was a bit loud, but will definitely go back next time we're in Salem for a show at the Elsinore Theater. Very close to that venue.

    Érica was great! The shrimp and bacon risotto was very rich and very delicious; the salmon scrumptious the 2nd time (kitchen apparently mined the “rare-to-medium-rare” instruction first time, but quickly made it perfect); sides and salads quite good would definitely eat here again when in Salem!

    Amadeus seldom disappoints. The food and service are always very good. Sometimes it can be a bit noisy, but last night it was quiet, perfect for table conversations. While it is not "cheap eats," the prices are moderate compared to many other fine dining restaurants.

    Food was great and different, I had the coho salmon with carrots-really good, and mashed potatoes. Potatoes could use some seasoning. My spicy margarita was perfect. Service was good

    No restaurant is perfect every night . Tonight the food was too / saltier than normal. We both noticed it separately. And it’s never been that way before . Yet it was still good and we can’t wait to return.

    This was our second visit to Amadeus and again it was an excellent experience. My only disappointment was that the Beef Sgtroganoff was not on the menu. I LOVED the beef stoganoff on my last visit, and had hoped it would be available. However, my selection this time was beef medallions on mashed potatoes and it to was EXCELLENT. Our server was fabulous, she was professional, fun and very knowledgeable. We will definitely be back!

    Drove up from Eugene and met a friend who drove down from Portland. I chose Amadeus because of it's online reviews and they proved accurate. Great atmosphere and accommodating staff. Also celiac friendly.

    Food did not taste very good. We ordered 3 dishes and none wowed us. They forgot to serve us the amuse-bouches that nearby tables received. And service was slooowww. We will not likely return any time soon.

    “The classic” is their steak bites & masked potatoes. We both ordered it and it is absolutely delicious! None better. (their mashed potatoes beats everyone else’s)

    This was our 2nd night to dine there. It was sucha wonderful experience; food, staff and the owner! Such a wonderful twist on dishes we have all had, but they do it that much better.

    Beyond impressed every time we dine at Amadeus. Celebrated our wedding anniversary with delicious craft drinks and classic menu selection. Everything was amazing. Service was wonderful and the value for high quality food is impressive. Loved the evening.

    I had veggie ravioli and the ravioli was not cooked all the way so edges were hard, filling was lukewarm and sauce was overpowering. My husband had steak that was supposed to be medium but was mooing at us and mashed potatoes were lukewarm. Asparagus was wilted and skinniest asparagus I have ever seen.

    This place is always amazing. We started with the mushroom tart and the zucchini fries, both were really tasty but the zucchini fries were crunchy and oh so addictive! For entrees we had the chicken schnitzel and the classic. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu but these are favorites for a reason. For an extra treat, start with a cocktail at Alleycat in the alley behind the restaurant! The cocktails are imaginative and absolutely delicious.

    We've been to Amadeus many times, though it has been a while since our last visit. We made a reservation to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Upon arriving, they immediately sat us, however, never asked if we had a reservation (I later told them, which prompted them to check us in). We were told our server would be right over. 7 minutes later, the person who sat us (not our server) brought us water. 5 minutes from then, our server arrived with some chips and hummus and played it off as a treat for us - when in reality, we wanted to order our drinks and appetizers. Another 5 minutes later, our server was back and asked if they could get us a drink order going - upon receiving our drink choices, they appeared to begin rescinding from our table and we grabbed their attention and said we'd like to order appetizers also, and later would order our meals. Our appetizers arrived from the kitchen before our drinks from the bar did (seems offly backwards to me). Once our drinks arrived, we again had to prompt our server we'd go ahead and place our meal order, due to seeing how long it was taking to get our server's attention. Our meals were ordered and arrived timely, were absolutely delicious. From this point forward our server was fairly present, gave us a dessert menu and was back quickly to see if we decided on anything. We did and they were back with it quickly. I think at the beginning our server was overwhelmed, or the bar was, or both... so it started off extremely slow, but finished strong and the primary reason to eat here is the food, which definitely did not disappoint!

    We enjoyed the happy hour menu; shrimp risotto and zucchini sticks. Over the years, we have had continuous issues with the timing of the food delivery. The kitchen is too efficient, thus we feel continually rushed to finish our food. Although they offer desserts no dessert menu was offered. In addition our bill was not correct.

    Always love it here, this time was extra good thanks to our amazing waitress, Hannah. She was attentive, social and so darn nice! She made us feel like there was no where else she’d rather be. Such a gem and rare to encounter these days. Thank you, Hannah!!
