    I had veggie ravioli and the ravioli was not cooked all the way so edges were hard, filling was lukewarm and sauce was overpowering. My husband had steak that was supposed to be medium but was mooing at us and mashed potatoes were lukewarm. Asparagus was wilted and skinniest asparagus I have ever seen.

    This place is always amazing. We started with the mushroom tart and the zucchini fries, both were really tasty but the zucchini fries were crunchy and oh so addictive! For entrees we had the chicken schnitzel and the classic. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu but these are favorites for a reason. For an extra treat, start with a cocktail at Alleycat in the alley behind the restaurant! The cocktails are imaginative and absolutely delicious.

    We've been to Amadeus many times, though it has been a while since our last visit. We made a reservation to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Upon arriving, they immediately sat us, however, never asked if we had a reservation (I later told them, which prompted them to check us in). We were told our server would be right over. 7 minutes later, the person who sat us (not our server) brought us water. 5 minutes from then, our server arrived with some chips and hummus and played it off as a treat for us - when in reality, we wanted to order our drinks and appetizers. Another 5 minutes later, our server was back and asked if they could get us a drink order going - upon receiving our drink choices, they appeared to begin rescinding from our table and we grabbed their attention and said we'd like to order appetizers also, and later would order our meals. Our appetizers arrived from the kitchen before our drinks from the bar did (seems offly backwards to me). Once our drinks arrived, we again had to prompt our server we'd go ahead and place our meal order, due to seeing how long it was taking to get our server's attention. Our meals were ordered and arrived timely, were absolutely delicious. From this point forward our server was fairly present, gave us a dessert menu and was back quickly to see if we decided on anything. We did and they were back with it quickly. I think at the beginning our server was overwhelmed, or the bar was, or both... so it started off extremely slow, but finished strong and the primary reason to eat here is the food, which definitely did not disappoint!

    We enjoyed the happy hour menu; shrimp risotto and zucchini sticks. Over the years, we have had continuous issues with the timing of the food delivery. The kitchen is too efficient, thus we feel continually rushed to finish our food. Although they offer desserts no dessert menu was offered. In addition our bill was not correct.

    Always love it here, this time was extra good thanks to our amazing waitress, Hannah. She was attentive, social and so darn nice! She made us feel like there was no where else she’d rather be. Such a gem and rare to encounter these days. Thank you, Hannah!!

    We arrived f iir our reservation and seated at a nice banquet for five....the window seat was already taken so this was a nice seating. We looked at the menu and the 2 dishes we wanted to order weren't there.... menu change had not made it to the website. So, we ordered our 2nd choices and fantastic--beef medallions and sea trout. Service was great-- ambiance like a bistro but with no white tablecloths. I would have returned the next night but my husband wanted to try another restaurant!

    My wife and I had reservations and were promptly seated only to sit for 15 minutes with no service at all. Another server asked if anyone was helping us and we let her know she was the first to talk to us so she went and let the server assigned to our table know we were there. She basically refused to serve us without explanation. Stevie took our table because she felt bad for us and she was wonderful. It was our first time there so I don’t know why our server completely ignored us and refused to serve us. Our 10th Anniversary was saved by Stevie. Will absolutely never, ever return to Amadeus again.

    Wonderful selection of drinks and the food is amazing. Loved the brisket with polenta and the olive tapenade bread. My husband really enjoyed the shrimp and risotto too.

    Much to our disappointment, the menu had changed quite a bit. Favorites that we had enjoyed in the past were no longer available. The service was prompt in the beginning, and our meal was served in good time, but after that our server seemed to be busy with too many other tables and it took quite a long time to clear the table, offer dessert and bring our check.

    The dishes are on the comfort food end of the spectrum, but the staff seems to really like their work and environment and provide attentive but not intrusive service with a smile. While the wine list is not extensive it has a good range of offerings at a reasonable price. A fine evening.

    We've gone previously for happy hour plates and there are plenty of menu choices for us that always serve as dinner. We share 4-5 selections, get a bottle of wine and relax and enjoy. Our server always has been very attentive without being intrusive. We love to get one of the window table which is possible if you got early. We enjoy dining out often and this is one of our favorite places.

    We found you online and had dinner on our trip to Salem. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. In addition, the menu was filled with exciting dishes well prepared. I would recommend this to everyone visiting as I'm sure all the locals know about it. I can't recommend this highly enough!

    Small Caesar Salad very good and plenty for two. Best Bruschetta in town. My wife said her Risotto was delicious. So nice to find a Happy Hour menu with variety and excellent quality. I’m glad we made a reservation.

    What a great place!! I wish I could give it 6 stars! Our server was patient, knowledgeable and personable without being overbearing. The menu was diverse, interesting and the food prepared and presented beautifully!

    Amadeus is our go-to for amazing food and great service. This time something was definitely off. The shrimp and bacon risotto had zero flavor, the chicken schnitzel was decent amongst the 5 people who had that, and the chicken buccatini was dry and flavorless. They were out of hummus and halibut, which I'm sure sometimes happens. Overall, it was just very off from the past times we have been. We'll give it a rest for awhile and try again in the future.

    Our dining experience was exceptional. Our server was attentive but not over bearing. The menu was varied and interesting. In this day and age of cut-backs, Amadeus has kept their portions ample and the quality is exceptional. When we visit Amadeus, we can always count on an interesting menu and quality food expertly served.

    The food was good, our waiter was overwhelmed she had 7 tables but worked the bar also. It seemed like making drinks for all the guests was top priority. The seven tables suffered.

    We had a reservation, in spite of this it took over 40 minutes to be noticed after we flagged down a server. Terrible experience. If a person is NOT hungry and has more patience than Job, maybe this is the restaurant for you (?). We ended up leaving after 45 minutes of being ignored and enjoyed our dinner at a competing steakhouse/ nice restaurant just down the block and around the corner.

    As always, awesome service and incredible food! My only negative comment would be that as two of our group are hearing impaired, the noise levels can be a bit tricky. We were fortunate enough to get the booth near the back that helps, but still not great. Stevie, our server, was fantastic, energetic and fun. I appreciated her sassy (in a great way) humor. You can never go wrong with the food!

    Amadeus is CONSISTENTLY high quality fare!!! 4 of us enjoyed different items off of the menu, including dessert. The other couple hadn’t ever had the pleasure to eat here before. They were blown away at the delicious flavors and choices on the menu. This is one of our most favorite restaurants in the Willamette Valley. Service was great too. They were slammed as usual (you NEED reservations) but still gave us the great service as they always do. Thanks for being in our community! Your restaurant is amazing!
