Alberto’s is a beautiful Italian restaurant on Fifth Avenue. The ambience is perfect. Our party of four ordered 4 meals, the yellow snapper and the salmon meals. They were absolutely delicious! We also ordered salads. Each couple ordered one salad to be shared with their spouse. The salads were also very enjoyable. Wine was nice, my husband enjoyed a local IPA beer. My husband love the crème brûlée. We rarely get dessert, but this is his favorite. It arrived still on fire, nice touch. It was a lovely evening. My disappointment was we were charged $7.00 twice ($14.00) for sharing the salads. I did see there was a $7.00 sharing fee, but I assumed it was for two people that would be sharing a dinner, not a salad. When the bill was $336, and the spinach salad is $16.00, and arugula salad is $15.00, I didn’t expect to be charged another $14 to have the two salads arrive at our table in four different bowls. I wish I would have noticed this while I was at the restaurant. Please know this about sharing a salad. This additional charge was a big disappointment to me! Oherwise it was a absolutely wonderful dining experience at a lovely Fifth Avenue Italian Restaurant. I would definitely recommend the Yellow Snapper!

We went for Early dinner special, $35 for glass wine, appetizer or salad and main dinner. Many choices, all delicious. Our server, Bryan, was excellent and well versed on the menu, and helped my friend who is allergic to onions with dinner suggestions. Excellent dinner, will definitely go back!!

Portion size and quality exceed nearly everything on 5th ave. Their lobster salad balance seafood and salad better than anywhere - Veal tenderloins are wonderful and large enough to supply at least lunch the next day. Love it.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed the food and service. However we were disappointed when told by the hostess that two people were not enough to be seated in a booth despite my wife’s back problem when sitting on chairs. It was only a short time after we were seated at a small table that the hostess seated two people in a booth. The manager apologized and gave us a discount but we would have preferred to have sat in a booth.

A good restaurant offering outdoor seating should provide heaters for cooler evenings. Most on 5th do just that. But not here. Some in our party had to wrap table cloths around them for warmth. Wouldn’t have mattered if the food was the best ever. It was too chilly to be fully enjoyed. Even after a few tables cleared indoors there was no effort made to move us inside. Too bad. Opportunity missed.

Tony, our waiter, was patient and accommodating with respect to our infant needs and our food choices. Food extraordinary. Just thought the link gating could be improved to give a more intimate vibe. Next time we will be more specific with our reservation. Outside would have been terrific. Thanks Tony. We will ask for you next time

We have been to Albertos twice now, and each time we are thrilled with our meal. The early Happy Hour Dinner is a terrific deal. We have had the mussels, veal, bolognase, and salmon. All top rate!

Over all we enjoyed Alberto's. I seems to be one of our Fav's. Last night our waiter was very attentive. The veal chops were great. Unfortunately our sides came out incorrect. Our waiter said That he would have it corrected, BUT, we never got them. When he came back to the table, he said the kitchen was slow but he would go get them. At that point our main course was finished, so we said not to bother.
