Aioli Bodega Espanola
Very good food and a lovely escape. Our server interrupted a few times.
Spectacular evening in the garden. Sangria and paella are the best I have had outside of Barcelona. Service is always first class - Nathan was amazing. Sorry I missed seeing Jason. Highly recommend this charming restaurant
Great atmosphere! especially outside and bonus food is Great!!!
Wonderful food. A bit expensive. Wonderful music
Nice tapas as well as Spanish themed food. Tends to be a busy place at a busy corner of Sacramento.
A great place to eat good taste with a lot of variety to chose from. Like that there are vegetarian choices as well as meat dishes. A very enjoyable experience will return as there are many more entries we would like to try.
Great food. We ate in the bar area and The bartender also waited on my family. Wonderful service and wonderful food. Will go back.
The food is very good. Waiter was very pushy, impatient, and food delivery was way off.
For example, when ordering tapas as appetizers before the main entree, it is typical for the tapas to come out while waiting for the entree. They came out right after our entrees for 6 were served.
The waiter made sure to pour wine into glasses to get the bottle empty as soon as possible to encourage us to order another bottle of wine.
While the food is good, I can't see any reason why we would return.
As always, we had a fabulous dinner at Aioli's, our favorite Sacramento restaurant. The food is consistently great and the ambiance inviting. Our guests enjoyed it tremendously, also.
We always enjoy three or four tapas selections and a bottle of Spanish wine. We love the Bourek de Carne: pastry triangles, ground beef, egg, herbs; the Salmon Alcaparado: salmon, white wine, garlic, capers, citrus, mustard; and both types of Gambas: Gambas Ajillo: shrimp, garlic, white wine sauce and/or Gambas Parrilla: grilled marinated shrimp, citrus, cumin, grilled avocado, salsa fresca. The weekly specials always add another option.
Consistently the best place in Sacremento. Love the owner and his son. So funny, so warm and inviting. It’s feel like you are eating at their house for dinner. The food never fails to be awesome.
Great food and impeccable service. We always have a great dining experience at Aioli!
Nathan was very accommodating to our group. Great service! First time bringing our friends. Definitely will be returning.
As always, the food was delicious. Ambience is great. Ailoi's is a favorite...consistently good.
The food is fantastic, but pricey. We made a reservation for 9:30 p.m. on Valentine's Day and showed up on time, but no one greeted us; we had to go looking for the host (apparently the owner). The host station was not near the entrance, but at a very crowded spot next to the bar, where servers trying to get through and several groups of people waiting for a table were all crowded into a small space. Once we finally got seated (15 minutes after our reservation time) the service was excellent. But that host station bottleneck could stand to be improved.
The way they manage reservations they come in was a little strange. But after we got the table, things were quite wonderful all around -- good food, good music, good atmosphere. great date spot
I’ve been here before and the food was so much better. The paella portion was much smaller than I remember and some of the tapas were just not interesting. The portobello mushroom was just a cooked cold portobello with feta cheese. The dessert o had was terrible. Cake that was still dry despite being soaked in wine and really only tastes like alcohol. I don’t think I’d come back here
First time experiencing Aioli with my Fiancée during Valentines' Day weekend. We chose the Valentine's weekend special and enjoyed each course that was brought to our table. I definitely recommend Aioli for the great food and fantastic service!
Continues to be one of the best dining experiences in Sacramento. Never disappoints.
We had a reservation but we spent 40 minutos eating for a table that was set time ago
Busy night lead to poor service. 2/3 dishes were tasty. Server was way too busy to focus. Took 30 minutes to get water. I’m assuming in another night it would have been more enjoyable.
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. Food awesome. Everything was perfect!!
Always an absolute favorite.
That day was a lot of smoke in the place, I couldn’t even breathe
Amazing food and great service. This is not a quick experience...know you will need a couple hours but also know the service and food are amazing. Loved it all.
Excellent! Daughter and I came here before a show. Exceptional food, ambiance and service. Would definitely recommend.
I love a meal of tapas! The Burek are the chief reason we prefer Aioli Bodga over other tapas restaurants; however, every single item is superb. Attentive staff and an excellent Malbec complete the repast. We enjoyed five tapas: patatas bravas, shrimp with garlic and wine, pork skewers, and grilled vegetable made a complete meal for two with variety and mouth-watering flavors. We're so glad Aioli is available to us!
Really nice tapas. We also ordered a seafood paella to share. This was a memorable meal with good Friends...
Great wine selections and cocktails. Try the Sangre y Arena. Staff and owner were friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The paella and tapas were amazing. The chocolate mousse was heavenly. We recommend it highly
From ambiance to service this place is wonderful. The food though is where it's at. Fresh and rich, the menu offers lots of options but doesn't sacrifice quality. The seasonal green beans were my favorite and seasoned to perfection. The lamb sausage was light and tender and bathed in a red wine ragu sauce. We We're lucky to have been seated by the window and our servers were all prompt, helpful and friendly. Worth the price and I will be returning as often as possible.
Pleasantly surprised on all fronts and enjoyed a fine dining experience with exceptional service and extremely well prepared and delicious tapas followed by a main course and delightful chocolate mouse desert!! Outstanding!!
My favorite restaurant in Sacramento.
My favorite restaurant in Sacramento.
I love Aioli. This is place my mom and I greatly appreciate, so naturally, this is where we came for her birthday dinner. My family is one of those boisterous, animated groups, and we often take that into consideration when dining out together. The noise level in Aioli, when it is full of guests and the sound has nowhere to travel, works with us. We’ve always been treated very well at Aioli and the food is excellent. If you like seafood, duck, or lamb, come here! They also have great veggies too, so don’t let my meat-love deter you. Having grown up here, frequenting the restaurant scene in downtown/midtown, and continuing the tradition well into my adulthood, I feel comfortable saying Aioli is another establishment you can trust to consistently deliver value.
Celebrating the opening of our new office with the lovely people that took charge and made it happen! Since I got there first, I started with a cava flute and it was dry, crisp and light fruity. Next upon everyone's arrival, we ordered a pitcher of sangria and it was delicious! We ordered way to much food but everything was great. I think the kitchen's hood wasn't working well and it got really smoky and uncomfy because of the smoke. All in all, the food is authentic, the drinks are good and the service is attentive.
It was a wonderful experience! We were seated immediately and had amazing attentiveness throughout the meal. The food was delicious and the ambience was perfect.
We are four tapas and a paella. Every bite was delicious! The server was top notch-listened to what we wanted and liked and steered us through the menu very well. Hope to make it back!
Love the food and the guitarist. Became noisy and difficult to hear each other talk.
I enjoy the uniqueness of this restaurant. It was perfect for our group of 6 for lunch; we chose the venue in large part so we could hear each other, but the fixed lunch is great value and everything was delicious. Separate checks meant an automatic 20% gratuity...as it should, since the server had more work to do. Read your bill carefully. I noticed I was charged $2 more for my cocktail, and decided not to bring it up.
Very beautiful interior but the Maitre D was not welcoming and the food was good but not great. The waiter was quite nice.
If you’re lucky enough to get a table on a busy night, you’ll be pleased with the quality of the food and attentiveness of the service. The ingredients are fresh and tasty and you feel you stepped into a gem in Spain itself. Beware, however, that the dining rooms are small and the ventilation is not the best, so you are likely to smell like the kitchen upon leaving for the evening. Nevertheless, the food is worth the minor inconvenience. Enjoy!
