My girlfriend and I went here for Thanksgiving dinner last night. We booked our reservation because we saw they were “offering a Thanksgiving menu in a progression of courses that are ever-shifting with the seasons’ treasures.” Aside from a cranberry sorbet, I wasn’t sure which courses were special for Thanksgiving and which were part of their normal menu and I don’t remember if the staff pointed out anything specifically. Seeing as how we wanted to experience their normal menu offering at another time as well this was actually fantastic for us. It was an amazing experience and I loved almost every single thing we ate(the one exception being the parsley parmesan aioli/mayo.) Highlights included the amazing service, the duck, A5 wagyu, and the scrummy prelude! Hella good food brah!

Exceptional meal in beautiful surroundings. Don’t miss this experience. It’s strange to refer to a $300 meal as a great value, but it truly is; more reasonable and the meal was more memorable than other 2 Michelin restaurants that I have visited. The one disappointment was the wine pairing: it was priced equally with the food, which seems excessive and when we ordered from the wine list, it was extensive, but they were out of the first 2 bottles that we tried to order, which were not rare finds. Regardless, I will still be telling everyone that Addison is a must-visit.

An incredible dining experience, easily the best meal of our lives. The “eggs and rice” course is something that set a new benchmark for how good food can be. The service was out of this world, with choreography in place for each plate and a stellar attentiveness. Would recommend without any hesitation.

Anyone with a couple of handfuls of cash and the desire for an adventurous luxury dining experience should come here at least once in their life. I celebrated my 36th birthday dining at Addison and they completely blew my mind. Everything about this experience was opulent and elegant. Thank you to James and the rest of the wait staff for an unforgettable evening of deliciousness and unparalleled service! I look forward to my next visit.

Dinner here is the experience of a lifetime. The setting, service, food and wine pairings are beyond exquisite. The 9 course tasting menu is mind blowing and the service is outstanding! I’m sure they’ll be awarded their 3rd Michelin star very soon!

We had the 9-course tasting menu. The first and last (dessert) courses were amazing. The other courses were very good, but didn't blow me away. The middle courses were very heavily Asian-influenced. I eat a lot of Asian food so I found them to be a bit boring-was hoping for more California cuisine courses. Personally, I like any soup course to come out piping hot, but there were a couple and they were both lukewarm. Service was excellent.

Excelent restaurant, great service, food was very good, even if some of the plates were not our kind of food. The desserts were amazing. Good experience to be in a Michellin restaurant. It´s a very expensive restaurant $$$$$, good for special ocassions.

An absolutely unforgettable dining experience! Service was impeccable. Every course was outstanding but the real stand out was this dish that had rice, egg, and caviar. The meal was heavily weighted to fish and had an obvious Japanese influence that I loved. The wagyu beef upgrade was well worth it. With the luxury upgrade we also got two dishes with white truffle but I felt that the truffle was lost. My only complaint about the meal was it was very overpriced compared to other high end Michelin starred restaurants we have been to around the US and abroad. Even more expensive than the well known Daniel restaurant in New York City.

The service was impeccable from the moment I arrived at the door. My water glass was always kept full and never once did I need to ask anything of my server.

Many of the dishes are little works of bite sized art bursting with flavor. I highly recommend opting for the "Luxury Tasting Menu" upgrade- A5 wagyu beef from Japan and white truffles flown in overnight from Italy. This just enhances the already incredible meal.

The food, service and ambiance at the Addison is excellent and definitely worth a detour if you are in SD.

Had the great pleasure of experiencing fine dining at San Diego’s first 2 Star Michelin restaurant last night. Service was impeccable starting from being greeted just outside of their front doors to synchronized service all the way to exiting the restaurant.
9 courses, no upgrades (white truffle and A5 wagyu were the upgrades,) which does not include preludes and interlude servings. Exquisite ingredients, fantastic layers of flavor all served in a perfect pace.
Met Chef William Bradley - very cool and laid back guy - who invited us into the kitchen which was pristine and surprisingly quiet! Very tight ship he’s running back there and it shows on your dining table! I’ve dined at Le Bernardin before and this, in my opinion, comes very close in all aspects!

Will def dine there again and yes, we left very full!! In fact, we were full by the time the 7th course arrived. (As for context, I can polish off a Cali burrito from El Pollo Grill and I left feeling the same “fullness.”)

CONGRATS TO CHEF BRADLEY AND ADDISON!

Here’s just a few pics from last night. I wish I could recall each dish but there were a variety of ingredients in each and they just kept comin’ n comin’!! First: caviar with zabaglione and rice at the bottom (my highlight of all courses.) Second: squab. Third: Kumamoto oysters with emulsion, salmon, duck liver, and I forgot the middle and top dish.

Enjoyed a birthday celebration under the enchanting lights at Addison.

Service, food, ambiance and execution are on par with two and three Michelin star meals we have enjoyed in the past. The team outshone the one star given to them by Michelin. We look forward to watching Addison’s progress in these regards and are grateful to have enjoyed this top performance from an underrated gem of a restaurant.

Thank you to the team, both front and back of the house, for making my wife’s 30th birthday one to last a lifetime.
