   I was excited to take my husband here for his first time to celebrate his birthday. It was few hundred dollar bill without same experience. The seafood was average. Waitress seemed to be just going through the motions. Not worth the money.

   Terrible service... Food Quality Good... Our server forgot to bring out our order of fresh oysters. We requested them 3 times and at the final request we decided to cancel them since we were well into our main course entrees. Also, we ordered Brussel Sprouts which were brought out after we had completed our entrees. Server was apologetic but we never really felt that he cared... Would not feel comfortable recommending this establishment to friends.

   Clams great--grits were mediocre at best halibut disappointing. You pay premium price and don't receive value. Waited was a goofball.

   Great experience all the way around! We had oysters and king crab as an appetizer followed by Alaskan Halibut and Ahi Tuna for entrees. All were impeccable complimented by impeccable service. Will definitely return again!

    Everything was really good. Aaron did an amazing job proving a special experience for my wife’s birthday. The only issue is that our sides were forgotten about. We went ahead and declined them, as we were already 3/4 through our meal.

    We celebrated our 7 year wedding anniversary and it was awesome! Martel was our server and had amazing suggestions! Everything was so delightful . It’s my husband’s new favorite place. We will be back soon!

    Food was fantastic! Service was attentive and the food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. It was my wife’s birthday and they gave her a complimentary dessert. The restaurant is pricy so it would only be an occasional visit, but definitely delicious and the portions were good.

    We’ve been dining at 801 fish since it opened. The service is always very good but in recent years, the prices have skyrocketed while the flavors have gone downhill. The swordfish was over cooked. The linguine with clams was bland except for the unwelcome flavor of orange peel. We did enjoy the 801 signature oysters. The special beet salad was also tasty but overpriced.

    Overall this was a fine experience. The smell of fish was perfusive walking in... which may be obvious but it was not a pleasant smell. The claim chowder was so rich we could hardly eat it. Outstanding beet salad and mussels were okay. Outstanding wine list!
