    Absolutely amazing service,food,experience. Didn’t feel like we were singled out like other expensive restaurants where they sit you in the corner like your not good enough to be there. We will definitely be back they had the best steak we have ever had no sauce needed.

    Excellent food as always! For some reason I like 801 chop for fish better than 801 Fish - I think it is becuase the grill gets a better sear on the fish.

    Hi Lemont, we're so sorry to hear that you had anything less than a fantastic experience with us. We are the only restaurant in St. Louis to carry all Elite Prime beef, which is the top 5% of all prime beef that goes to market. We also strive to have the highest quality of seafood possible to provide to our guests. Since we do have all of these premium products, we do have to reflect that in our menu price. We truly hope you'll give us another chance in the future.

    I took my “bonus parents” there for their anniversary. Not only did they give us menus with “Happy Anniversary” printed on the top, they also treated them with a free dessert. Great service! Everyone was super nice. Thank you!

    We were in town for my wife’s birthday weekend along with our two children and 801 did not disappoint. After struggling to find a good meal for the first two nights of our trip we stumbled upon 801 and we are so happy that we did. We were greeted with a Happy Birthday upon arrival and treated to a free desert for the occasion. We both had NY Strips cooked to perfection, our appetizer was the pancetta wrapped scallops which could have had a bit more pancetta flavor but were still delicious nonetheless. Then at the end of our visit, our server (Danny I believe) again remembered my wife’s birthday and offered a choice of desert (cheese cake for us which was perfect!). Great food, great atmosphere, great service, and over all a great night. Next time we visit Saint Louis, 801 will be our restaurant of choice!

    We love 801 and have for several years. Tonight, something was a little off. The service was very good, but it wasn’t at the top of the line level for which 801 has regularly operated. The menu prices were noticeably higher as well. We still love 801 and look forward to our next trip there.

    Our service was next level. Best steakhouse in St. Louis by far. The assistant general manager took care of us an our waiter was unbelievable. Justin Reinagel made the experience very special as my girlfriend & I were celebrating our 1 year anniversary! Can't wait to go back!

    They missed the cook on my steak. I asked for well done, it was close to medium. Wait staff didn't inquire about how our food was until we were almost done. Tried to charge me for an alcoholic drink when I'd only gotten an ice tea. We've been before and really enjoyed 801 but this visit was disappointing and will look elsewhere for top tier restaurant next time.

    801 Chophouse was a pleasant dining experience. We visited for our anniversary and I must say, they do a great job making you feel welcome and celebrated. Upon being greeted, we were welcomed with "Happy Anniversary." We even were greeted at our table with special menus that said Happy Anniversary on them too. There was much attention to detail in celebrating our special night and we appreciate this very much! Our waited was very nice and friendly, he did a good job to make sure we had what we needed and cleaned our table after every course. We enjoyed how he was willing to give his opinion on selections and share about specific menu items we asked about. Our meal was very good. Steaks were cooked wonderfully and very tender. I would rate the 4/5 because Twisted Tree in STL has better steaks. The sides are large enough for two people and this was something we learned. We really liked the garlic mashed potatoes. We did not care for the hashbrowns as much, but they are a very large portion. Everything is a la cart which is my reason for scoring the value lower. Dessert was also not very good in our opinion. What was nice is that it was complementary because it was our anniversary celebration, which again, was very thoughtful and a plus of this restaurant. Our ambiance was also scored only 4/5 due to the fact that where we sat at the bar, we were sat directly across from it at our table, so we didn't get as quiet and low traffic as an area that we would have enjoyed more. Everything was very clean and pristine. Even the bar we watched being cleaned after every guest had sat down and then got up. That was a high standard we appreciated too. The restrooms were very clean and had very soft and almost cloth like paper towels, again, just very classy. We enjoyed our visit and would definitely dine again. Staff is friendly to all, welcoming when you come in and very kind to greet you on your way out. Parking is almost valet only, as it is hard to find a street spot.

    Reservation fir 6:30, didn’t get our food til after 8 pm, bday dinner. I asked for a Pittsburg style on my ribeye, slightly pink. Came back to done. Over charred. They did compliment the beverages because of the wait. I won’t be back, quality of food has gone down!

    I don’t think men or women should be wearing Shorts or blue jeans. Business casual does not include those garments. Other than that it would have been 5 star ambience.

    Incredible experience here. From the moment we arrived we were treated so well. The hostess made sure to double check if it was my son’s birthday. The manager immediately started us with our drinks. Our server Diane was the best. She was incredibly kind, super knowledgeable, and gave excellent suggestions!! She made our evening exceptional! I wish we lived closer to visit here again. Sadly, we live in Pa and don’t have a 801 chophouse. The food was magnificent! The filets were delicious!! My son is still talking about how good his meal was there.

    Overrated. Steaks were nice cuts of meat but flavorless. Sides were nice sized shareable portions, but it seemed like the corn was out of a can. Not what I expected for $400 for 3 people.

    Good steak and seafood prepared in a fairly average fashion. Preparation decimated the protein. Service was passable, but barely. Don’t bring children. They are ignored, even when are accustomed to high end dining. Unfortunately, we won’t be back. Go to the hotel across the roundabout.
