                                                                                                                                  Our first visit to an 801 Chophouse. Had decent service but not exceptional. Wife’s prime rib was better than my KC strip. While cooked perfect in the center, the charring on the outside was too much burnt flavor. Didn’t taste like the steak was seasoned with basics like salt, pepper & butter. I liked the building but it was pretty loud. Our bill was a shade over $400 which included a $52 bottle of wine. We expected more bang for the buck.

Food was excellent and the buttermilk fried morels were out of this world. Our friends were impressed. Kyle always takes such good care of us. We are never disappointed!

                                                                                                                                  Our go-to restaurant in KC is always 801 Chophouse. Whether we sit at the bar or have a private dining table, our experiences are always divine! The service is top-notch with kind bartending staff and wait staff. The food is stellar, and the professionalism, and personal touches are so appreciated! My husband and I have been enjoying the Chophouse for every special occasion since 2016. It is our favorite spot for an upscale, happy hour and/or dinner for two.
