Wellington Lounge at InterContinental London Park Lane
Breakfast is nice. Even early on Sat/Sun, you get noisy groups talking very loudly. Which is fine except when you just want a chilled breakfast with friends and the newspapers.
More effort on their coffee as ordered flat white which was a disappointment. Some more innovation on healthy menu for breakfast as it’s limited and avocado certainly needs some more a seasoning. Okay experience unless going for standard all English breakfast which is likely to be there area of expertise.
Unfussy food with strong flavours, some new twists on familiar dishes but not exotic. Pleasant service, expensive but not outrageous
Good food and location and nice round table for our group.
Excellent meal. As usual.
The service was lacking . Not busy and severs were inattentive ,
Food and drinks were expensive but very good quality so only for a treat , restaurant was not particularly busy but it was a Monday night, can't fault the food and drink, prices are high though
Excellent venue, food and service. Went there now for 3rd time with my wife and boys aged 17 and 21. Beef Wellington is an experience.
Excellent service and consistently good food in a calming and elegant atmosphere
Great place any time of day breakfast is just as good
Bloody Mary is one of the best also
I regularly enjoy a weekend breakfast at 45 Jermyn St. The food and service are both excellent.
Good wine list and food, flambé dishes are entertaining and delicious.
Poor allocation of tables. First choice next to work station terrible. Second choice better but when we asked to move to empty corner table were refused bet table was not occupied for 30 minutes.
Excellent main courses. Good service. The maitre d' was particularly good.
From the friendly welcome to the attentive service, delicious food & bloody marys it was a great lunch. Glamorous and comfortable decor
Stylish and ambient. Food good. Nicely spaced tables and noise is a comfortable level. Definitely above the average dining experience
Great quality food and service in lovely surroundings
Excellent as ever!
An oasis with good food, plenty of space and really professional service and presentation
Delicious dinner. A bit chaotic but I guess that’s a Friday night. I’d go for lunch mid week next time. Oh, but no English sparkling wine by the glass on offer! Time to catch up on that front.
A lovely breakfast catch up with my sister. Delicious food and great service
Very noisy over crowded food so so and super expensive
Overall food was good - coffee was below average unfortunately.
Brilliant birthday night
Staff and food lovely
Only criticism noisy
The service - from reception till we received the bill was amazing, not annoying and not lacking. The food is to die for. Me and my dad really enjoyed our evening so if someone is visiting you, that’s a great place to bring your guest to!
Breakfast was great
As always wonderfully warm ambience and deliciously free food. Let down a little this visit by what seemed a shortage of staff.
Excellent food in a lovely ambience, with very good and attentive staff. Always on my must do list when I am in London.
Very friendly and polite welcome. The 45 Jermyn St. is a very pleasant and warm place with fine wines and cuisine.
This is the fourth time I’ve come to this restaurant, and it never ceases to be a pleasurable experience. The food, as ever, was interesting and delicious. This time it was my husband’s birthday, and the restaurant presented him with a small container of hand-made chocolates! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! I thoroughly recommend 45 Jermyn Street.
A nice central venue chosen by a visitor from Montreal. I thought £44 for a dover sole was frankly over the top other dishes less so.
Good atmosphere. Bench seats have more room than narrow tables at edge. Went for breakfast-scrambled eggs were disappointing, had been sitting on the side for too long. Slightly overcooked and not fresh out of pan. Otherwise a good place to go-maybe that was a one off?
This was my second visit to 45 Jermyn Street. We went as a family for Sunday lunch and had a great time. We had a nice table in a booth. My husband and I both had the outstanding Jerusalem Artichoke soup and our daughters the smoked salmon. We then went with the roast sirloin which came with all the extras and more than we could eat. We were tempted by the desserts but decided to have just two between us, a wise decision as they were what can only be described as generous portions ....... we couldn’t finish them.
The restaurant was busy but the service was never less than attentive. A thoroughly pleasurable experience.
I booked last minute for a girlie reunion. We all ordered 2 courses from the Sunday set menu which was great value with fantastically flavoured food, wonderfully presented. I can thoroughly recommend the artichoke soup and the port belly, whilst my friends had the beetroot and goats curd salad and the Glenarm roast sirloin of beef - all absolutely delicious!!! We also ordered a variety of side vegetables to share. The restaurant has a an art deco feel, with excellent service from all the staff. A fab venue for a long over due catch up with friends. I will definitely be booking here again.
Lively atmosphere . Fabulous innovative food. Attentive service.
Great atmosphere with very good bistro staples and a lovely wine list. Excellent service.
Had a great time! Would definitely go back again next chance I get.
I have long come to this restaurant for one particular staple - the Monkfish curry. It's now be taken off the menu, exposing the lack of originality and execution in the rest of what's on offer. The result is a menu with options such as an over-priced rib-eye - better done by others. Deserts still stellar, but who comes just for desert?
Great venue and nice ambiance with a good selection of food. A bit too pricy for what it’s delivering as compared to other restaurants in the neighbourhood, but good quality. Only down side is that we were told we would need to vacate the table by 8.00pm in the reservation and from the hostess when we arrived, but then the manager told us after our meal we needed to go by 7.30pm and started pushing us from 7.00pm which wasn’t the kind of service I’d expect from such a venue.
