The dinner sleigh ride experience is a great time. The sleigh ride isn’t very long but fits well with the schedule of the evening. The food is tasty and appropriate, the location is great, and the staff is outstanding.

4Eagle was wonderful! We had the best time gathering with our friends. The staff is extremely friendly and so welcoming. We had a large group and they handled us all with ease. The ambiance is perfect and Randall the guitar player is a special touch. We have tried other sleigh ride/dinner venues but this is our new favorite! Thank you 4Eagle Ranch! Our evening with you was the best night of our trip! We plan to be back next year.

We came as a large group and loved the atmosphere. Such a beautiful place. The only complaint that was voiced by most of our group was that Lisa was very unfriendly and dismissive when we tried to check in and also when at the end of the night to check out. That process should have been more organized and we should have been treated kinder.

Setting is beautiful. Lovely sleigh ride. Pleasant musical entertainment. Aside from that, experience was poor. Food was close to inedible and grossly overpriced.

$405 for 2 adults and 2 children...for that price we expected much more . Wagon ride was just a big circle, and we were thrown on with a large group that continued to take pictures and be obnoxious for the entire ride. Food was ok, nothing special just a basic buffet. We would pass on this experience again.

We went to 4 Eagle Ranch for a Christmas Eve sleigh ride/dinner. The cabins/grounds were so beautifully decorated and the musicians playing were a nice touch. The food was surprisingly good for a buffet style. Great specialty cocktails and selection of wine. Most of all, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back!

Sleigh rides and BBQ - nothing better! Group setting with fire place. Buffet style with ribeyes, ribs and chicken. Homemade chili as an appetizer. Food is very good and the atmosphere is the worth the drive. The sleigh ride under the stars tops off the evening!

The 4 Eagle Ranch is a non profit organization that helps soldiers who have PTSD. The experience at the ranch is wonderful. If there is snow on the ground then you are taken for a sleigh ride. Otherwise it is a wagon ride. We had the wagon ride in 19 degree weather. It was wonderful. You don’t realize how beautiful the sky is at night with all the stars. If you are doing this in the winter then dress warm. They give you blankets but it is still good to dress warm. The food is buffet style but of very high quality. They had chicken, steak, ribs, Mac and cheese, salad, and more.

Don’t use your GPS for directions. Follow the directions provided by the Ranch. Otherwise you’ll end up at the Eagle County Dump.

Great atmosphere, good food and great service. Was not aware at time of booking that a large portion of proceeds goes to wounded warrior project. While a pricey evening, that softens the blow! However, you cannot recreate the historic ranch atmosphere and horse carriage ride at any steak house.

Recommended!

We really enjoyed our time at 4 Eagle Ranch, everything was top notch and the staff was amazing. I really like the fact a large portion of their profits go to help wounded veterans and other charities.

4 Eagle Ranch is a great option for family/group dinner fun if you are in the area! Enjoy the pre-dinner chili and then either take a ride through the ranch before or after dinner. Dinner was an outstanding buffet followed by excellent desserts! During dinner, there was live music as well as after. You could also take a ride around the ranch after dinner and/or make s'mores by the campfire.

I loved the idea of 4 eagle ranch but the dinner and the evening were a real let down. The buffet was similar to a $6 elementary cafeteria meal, maybe worse. The trip here is the only regret I have on my Vail vacation. The experience and the food were over priced.

Fantastic time for the family. Winter sleigh ride was beautiful. Dinner and music were perfect. Everyone at the ranch made us feel welcome and part of their family. My children (age 3 and 7) enjoyed the food and activities. Can't wait to go back in the summer for a fun daytime, warm weather experience.

Everything was great except the price. I was not prepared for the price because no where on the website was it listed, nor was it listed on the menu.
Our party of 8 had nothing to drink (no alcohol - no additional charges of any kind) and the bill was just short of $800 dollars (including tip). Talk about sticker shock!! (almost $100 per person!).
It will be the last time I dine at 4 Eagle Ranch for this single reason. Way too expensive in my opinion. $400 dollars ($50 dollars per person) is what I was expecting.

What a wonderful experience! We loved it! The ranch is beautiful and the staff couldn't be nicer. We signed up for the sleigh ride but there was no snow! So they did a carriage ride which actually worked out great with the kids! The ran around, pet the long horn, alpacas and sheeps:) the food was great and the guy playing the guitar was great! The s'mores with the guitar playing was perfection outside! What a great experience!

We are a family of four that spent spring break in Colorado. One of the highlights of our trip was visiting 4 Eagle Ranch for dinner and a sleigh ride. Beautiful views of the mountains. Great food , musical entertainment and friendly hosts.Dinner was buffet style with comfort selections including steak, ribs and mac and cheese. The steak chili was fabulous and if they would share the recipe that would be awesome! Very kid friendly and we enjoyed being up close with the horses and animals on the ranch. "Tink" was an awesome driver of the sleigh and knowledgable of the history of the ranch. It's a great way to relax after a day of skiing the slopes.

We really enjoyed the warm cabin with warm hot cider, a well stocked bar and a great buffet dinner. It was a cold night but the blankets on the sleigh ride were perfect to keep our group of 6 warm. The Colorado view of the night sky is always such a blessing because there are no lights. The milky way is my favorite part. The staff was very friendly and eager to please. We also learned a little history of the ranch and enjoyed the musical entertainment.

The ranch has a rich history beginning in 1885 and has amazing scenery with views of the mountains as fara way as Aspen. We enjoyed the food and the sleigh ride in the snow in the evening. The snow was beautiful in the moon light. The dining cabin is very rustic and felt like we were made to feel at home. The staff work very hard to make the experience worth the trip to Wolcott. I want to go back sometime in the summer just to see the mountain views in full bloom.
