Excellent food and atmosphere. Service was also on point! I will definitely return and recommend to friends.
Food and service is always on point. Prices have risen across the board for steaks by roughly 25% though.
Everything was fantastic we will definitely be back!
We had the aged ribeye, roasted brussel sprouts, crawfish macaroni, redfish on half shell with lumped crab meat, AMAZING. Best we have ever had. Our waiter did a great job checking on us and keeping us entertained. You would have thought we knew him outside the restaurant. Definitely will be going again.
The filet was very delicious. It was cooked perfectly for all 3 of us. The wedge salad was enough for two. We split it and had more than enough for 2. The only thing was our bake potato was not really hot and really not worth the price. The barbeque shrimp appetizer was also delicious. Definitely worth going there again. Probably the best steak I have had in a long time.
service and food was great. food came out hot and drinks were great.
As always everything was perfect. Service and Food
The view to the "balcony" is actually a smokers retreat often plagued with people having impromptu photo shoots. The cocktails were watered down.
Service, food, ambiance were amazingly good! We were celebrating my daughter’s new teaching position! All the staff was terrific and very helpful !
Good service and good food! Highly recommend the pomme frittes and spinach! Make sure you save room for dessert! The s’mores ice cream and creme brûlée were amazing!
Overall food, service and atmosphere was very nice.
Our experience eating at 18 was like most times, enjoyable, good service, and fine dining!
Our food as always was cooked to perfection.
Was a great evening of great food and great service!!
We love the view of the river and Great service and of course the food !
All the things you feel worth the money ! Thanks to all the service and kitchen staff . Excellent for date night .
Food was fantastic. We had the ribeye and filet and they were excellent
Always great food and service. Manager always friendly and accommodating
Greeter was very nice. Evan our server also nice and very efficient. Atmosphere was perfect. Will be dining again for sure.
I always enjoy 18 Steak. The manager, Scott, checked on Us, the bartender checked on Us...That was unexpected !
A unique experience for Baton Rouge, and We Love the Food.
First time eating here.
Food( Steak was delicious) and Service (waiter was very helpful with picking entrees) was excellent.
Worth the price
Wasn't impressed with drinks.
Food was good service was awful, appetizer arrived before drinks.
The service was outstanding. We like to eat seafood and there was not an adequate amount of choices. We ordered the snapper and it would have been better with a sauce so it was on the dry side. I had a Caesar salad and it on the dry side. I had the tirmisu cheesecake and it was very dry. The ambiance was very good. Our waiter was very personable.
3 adults and 2 children. Staff was so friendly! Food was excellent...steak melted in our mouths.
It was great. Our waiter was funny and friendly. Nice to get away from all of the worlds problems in a nice atmosphere
The dry aged steak was of moderate quality. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't top notch compared to other fine dining establishments. The sides are awesome, we had the creamed spinach and potatoes au gratin. We also enjoyed the wine (Son of a Butcher) and the mixed drinks. Overall it was a pleasurable experience post-quarantine. Would recommend if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing dinner experience. Waitstaff was very attentive.
Nice atmosphere and the steaks were perfectly cooked. We asked for an Wedge salad and got a typical house salad instead.
Food was excellent. Drinks where also amazing. Much better than the last time I ate there.
Great location to celebrate a special occasion. It was our 17th wedding anniversary.
The food was good but not excellent. The wagyu was just ok. I’ve had better steak fur half the price. The filet was rather tasty ( better than the wagyu. The Sensation Salad was bitter. Service was good and salads came out right away. We waited 50 minutes for our steaks and they weren’t very busy at all. The manager offered apologies, so there’s that. Overall, it was fine, but I wasn’t impressed enough to want to go back or recommend it to others.
Very pretty restaurant . Was seated quickly with great hostess and waiter was attentive. We ordered the porterhouse for 2 which did not come precut , we also had to ask for an additional plate. The filet was fatty but was cooked Pittsburgh style and correct temperature. Meat itself was tough and not much a flavor. The waiter advised that aides where generous portions which’s was untrue the Mac and cheese lobster was not would not even be enough for one person much less a shareable. Not sure we will come back. But service was top notch! Sadly I had looked forward to ordering their bone marrow app was told they had ran out. We did try their quail and it was delicious was probably the best thing we ate that evening.
I planned a date night out for my wife and made reservations. When we got there I had a cocktail and we ordered a nice bottle of wine along with an appetizer. After ordering dinner and waiting the manager finally came out and said they had overcooked my meal, we told him that was fine we would wait and that it would not be a problem. I stated to the waiter that my only concern was that my wifes food would still be hot and he said the kitchen would make sure it was. When we finally got our food, my wifes dinner was cold, including the potato and my dinner was cold as well. I had the manager actually touch my food and he agreed it was all cold. They wanted to recook the meal and at this point we said no. We ended up eating at the stadium restaurant.
The experience was wonderful!
Prior to this visit I may have.
Service was poor, food quality and presentation was poor.
Several of the sides were room temp. My redfish was over cooked.
Service wasnt at the level of the prices. The cocktail menu wasnt explained and it took over 15 minutes for waiter to come back and ask for our drink order.
When we made the reservation we asked for window seats on the river- we did this twice - first for four people then again when we asked to add another person. In fact were told to change time to Accommodate the seating request. Even though you called to confirm - it wasnt until we arrived with my 89 year old Mom were told only two tops get to sit at the windows. No apologie.
Wont go back. We had much better food and only slightly better Service when we went in December.
We ordered the Valentine meal. It was awful. The steak was undercooked and it ade me sick after we left the restaurant. The lobster was the best thing. The bread was cold and the potatoes were nasty. It was too much sauce on the potatoes. The dessert was evening nasty a cold brownie with a teaspoon of ice cream for two people come on people be more realistic. People want a nice warm dessert when serving ice cream or gelato with it. We had to keep telling the waiter to bring us things. It was a terrible dining experience and could have definitely spent our money somewhere else with a better quality of food and service. Overall it was a terrible experience and woul not recommend anyone spend their valentine there.
Great food and great service!
The food and service was great I will definitely go back again
Our appetizer (lobster) was raw and sent back. Manager apologized but that’s about it, no comp. Their tenderloin was bland and tough, we asked for medium and received well done. No salt and pepper on the tables. Had to chase the waiter down for a cocktail refill. Never going again.
Food was amazing. Service was perfect and dessert was incredible. Couldn’t have asked for a better valentines dinner!
This restaurant never disappoints. Food and service are always exceptional. Want a great waiter, ask for Jake.
