Diner Reviews
  • "I had the steak special which was a bone-in rib eye. I was disappointed in the flavor and it was also tough. I have had better bone-in rib eye steaks at other places that did not cost as much."

  • "We have driven by this restaurant many times in the past twelve years, we stay on the eastern end of 30A. What a big mistake I've made. This is a definite place to stop, worth the drive, and is now on our list of top restaurants on 30A. All though it was a cloudy evening, the view and atmosphere were superb. The restaurant features a large wine list with varied prices along with mixed drinks from the bar. My wife and I chose a beef option. Our meal arrived within a reasonable time and was cooked to the correctness that we had order. We finished with coffee and desert. It was an excellent evening out."

  • "What a great view!! The food was great as well, with some interesting offerings that will encourage us to make another visit the next time we are in the area!"

  • "My husband and I ate dinner there over the weekend. I ordered the pistachio crusted grouper which was good but the risotto was undercooked. My husband had the parrot fish which was covered in so much soy sauce that is all you could taste. Dessert was good but nothing special. Overall the experience was good but not quite worth the money."

  • "Food was fantastic, as always. They are not use to such a big crowd so service was a little slower than usual . Beautiful view of gulf and sunset. Very nice outside deck."

  • "I really enjoyed the entire evening. We went for rhe valentine's special. The interior had a chic modern feel set high overlooking the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, perfect place to enjoy your surroundings and watch the sunset. There was great live music. Dinner was Filet and lobster, outstanding. The lobster was lightly breaded and fried, I was worried it would be tough and chewey. Nope. It was full of flavor and tender. The filet was cooked perfectly and fork tender. It was placed on top of risotto. The strawberry crepe wasn't my favorite. The crepe tasted a little thick and doughy. The main course was the star. Definitely will be back. Highly recommend The Vue on 30a!"

  • "Advertised in the area dining guide and went for view, as well as the food. White tablecloths, quiet atmosphere. Brunch is ordered off menu. We had eggs or omelets with meat and potatoes and grits that were excellent. Bloody Mary's were superb! Mimosas very good and my cousin had the all you can drink option. Our waiter was friendly and informative. Service was very good but little too fast. At end, noted other tables served muffins before the food and we had not been offered any. We asked the server and he apologized and brought us some. Would certainly go back - recommended to fellow RVers to try for dinner. Spent $70.00 plus tip for 3, including 3 Bloody Mary's and unlimited Mimosa option. They may have outdoor seating- couldn't see."

  • "Great as always. Tuesday night fixed price tornadoes(sp?) special was to die for. Sauces were flavorful and really added to the meal. also had the veal wrapped small plate. Terrific flavor with the banana peppers and sauce. Light crowd and good service. Always a treat for foodies!"

  • "I really had hoped that this restaurant would be great, given it's incredible beach side location. Unfortunately this was not the case. We were sent to the bar although we were on time and there were plenty of empty tables- a money grab to get the bar tab going. The decor was a hodgepodge of cheap 1980's light fixtures- felt like I was in a 2nd rate light fixture store. Then we were placed at a table where the door to a very loud band was constantly being opened as waiters moved around, making conversation not much of an option. The waiter was obviously not too interested, as he got our orders confused. Although the food was edible, it was not memorable. There are so many other better options on 30A."

  • "My husband and I celebrated my birthday here. He had the veal and I had the Fruits de Mer. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. We were there at night so we couldn't see the view, but it looks beautiful on the website! We would certainly go back."

  • "I chose Vue on 30A as the place to propose to my girlfriend (she said YES! btw) anyway... I would like to start by saying that the service here was top notch! The waiter was very knowledgable about food being served, how it was prepared, and why the chef was pairing certain items. The wine that was recommended for us went with our meal well and was also a good price! My date went had the Sea Bass with Vegetable Risotto and it was delicious! I had the Bone in Filet with some amazing potatoes.... it was probably one of the best steaks I have ever had! I will be back! I cannot recommend this place enough! They really went the extra mile to make sure that we had a special night! Thank you to the entire staff of Vue on 30A! Adam"

  • "Our server was outstanding. The view was amazing at sunset. Our server showed us a back patio that had a unbelievable view of the sunset and it was private. I got the bone-in-filet and it was delicious. The bartender also made excellent drinks. My wife enjoyed her meal as well. My wife and I have a vacation home in SanDestin so we frequent the area a lot. Vue will definitely be one of our go to spots. I would 100% recommend to anyone."

  • "Expected some things to be off because of off season, the meal just wasn't good. We were the last of 3 parties at 8:00 p.m. We had a window seat but the waterfront view was not visible as there was no lighting on that side of the building. A very impressive restaurant from the outside and the inside is nice but lacks real flair with fake flowers on the table and as decor. Menu descriptions did not live up to the food that was served at all. The "wonderful" bread had a crust so tough it was inedible. I believe the veal with eggplant dish I ordered was frozen and reheated. The Maine lobster appetizer was pitiful. Prices are out of line with the quality of food served. Best part of the evening was the service and the live music."

  • "Took out of town friends to brunch. Was the highlight dining experience of the weekend. Excellent food, service, ambiance. Also helped that we had " textbook " Gulf weather. Great way to start a Sunday. We'll be back. Frank Gluck"

  • "My wife and I had dinner here last Wednesday. We had an absolutely amazing time. For starters, we had a wonderful server named Ricky. Second, the food was fantastic. To top it all off, they had a small band playing outside. My wife and I danced in between each course. We had a truly great time."

  • "The service is always good, but the food is terrific. Probably the best steak I have had in a long time. I consider myself a pretty good cook but this chef knows what he is doing. Just great food!"

  • "The food was outstanding, cocktails were unique and delicious. Service was adequate once we were seated but service at the bar and prior to seating was terrible, extremely slow and unacceptable, we had to go to the bar ourselves to order drinks and it didn't appear to be busy."

  • "Loved the ease getting a reservation on a busy night with "open table""

  • "The wonderful setting but views do little to offset the quality of food being produced. Fried oysters were flavorless and whole Redfish was more about drama than actual skill. Weak wine list as well. There are many better places for quality food along 30-A, but there is a great view of the ocean since this former golf clubhouse was built on top of the dune back before they stopped such things."
