  • "Love the LQ Resort so wanted to try one of their restaurants. Ignored for most of the first 30 minutes while MANY employees buzzed around doing a lot of nothing. Waiter was apathetic, food was really good but I felt way over priced."

  • "We stayed at La Quinta for a conference and ended up eating almost every meal here. Food was good and consistent, and the beer wasn't bad either!"

  • "Loved everything about this experience, especially the Lollipop icecream ending to delicious food!"

  • "No room for us outside on the patio so four of us ate indoors. Not the greatest inside, wished we were on the patio."
    Dined on 3/28/2014
  • "The ambience is outstanding. To be sitting in the middle of history is an awesome adventure. The area is like a classic old European courtyard that is well cared for. The cobbled drive and walkways project an old world feel. Truly worth a visit for families, groups or just a romantic dinner or brunch. The menu is uncluttered but appeals to all pallets. We will go back."

  • "Had a great dinner, enjoyed dining outside on a perfect desert evening! Dinner was great, Caesar salad with shrimp was delish as was the spaghetti the hubs ordered and roasted chicken my auntie ordered. The tots are a must have, garlicky and crunchy and so delicious!! We will be back again soon!"

  • "Very disappointing Very unsophisticated staff, food was less than tolerable. Smash potatoes were gummy, salmon was smothered in a glaze that did not enhance the delicate flavor of the fish but instead, was like eating a jar of jam. Also the pan gravy for the chicken tasted institutional. The pretzel bread was served warm but stale."

  • "Had cocktails, lunch and dinner while staying at the resort for a few days. All the food was very good, service was excellent. Cocktails were great! Had a great time at the bar and Victor the bar tender does a great job! Comfort food after a round of golf hits the spot. Outdoor seating with live music, in La Quinta.. really doesn't get too much better."

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. The food was delicious, service great and love the outdoor seating. After a long day watching tennis at the PNB Paribas, it is always nice to come back to the beautiful La Quinta resort and have dinner just a short walk from the hotel room. We will be back next year."

  • "Sunday evening....everything excellent until asked for decaf coffee...startled to be served hastily concocted santa...expected more from a Waldorf Astoria establishment"

  • "On the Saturday night it was loud and crowded but we came early and left early. The food was good, not outstanding but fine. For a cafe, it was pretty expensive."

  • "Cool find!! Entire menu is on one page, plus a savory nightly special. Buffalo wings at the bar were big, zingy but not too hot. Beautiful patio. Purple pickled cauliflower appetizer with just the right blend of vinegar and sweet, served in a glass measuring cup was a unique surprise. Waitstaff is friendly, pleasant and fast. Salmon was perfectly cooked. I had the spinach artichoke heart fettuccine topped with huge prawns and was blown away because I'm not a fan of creme sauce and this was tasty, light and broth based, not assassinated by cheese. Killer fluffy peanut butter pie, and fresh coffee topped it off. Gorgeous setting, very "Rita Hayworth" with the smell of orange blossoms. Free valet parking. A new fav."

  • "Food was great. However, the servers wanted to take away our food before we were done eating. Not once but twice. Gave us the feeling of being rushed out!"

  • "This has become a favorite Sunday spot, for all the usual reasons (food, ambience, etc.) but the service sets Twenty6 apart more than anything else. I hope I've remembered names correctly from fleeting glimpses of name-tags, but Paulette, Juan (?) and Alejandra are real standouts. They take their jobs seriously and obviously know how to connect with their customers. The manager (Eric?) has assembled quite an amazing team and the service is exemplary from start to finish. It takes a lot to impress me in this area (alas, service standards have slipped many places) but this place sets the bar high. (The food is terrific, too!)"

  • "This is a beautiful outdoor lunch spot with excellent service. We thought the prices for food were excessive. Be prepared to pay $18.00 for a burger & fries...cheapest price for not-very-good wine was $11.00 a glass..."

  • "I've eaten at 26 every time I vacation in La Quinta for both lunch and/or dinner. The food is always delicious and the service is very attentive. I highly recommend their fries as a guilty pleasure! This time I had children with me and they enjoyed being able to sit outside at night, wander around and look at the amazing landscape surrounding the resort and restaurant. I enjoyed the filet for dinner which was prepared perfectly and my daughters ate off the children's menu. One had the spaghetti which was great and my picky eater ordered a grilled cheese which I would not order again. Basically it was just 3 pieces of stacked toast with a tiny bit of cheese. However overall this restaurant is one of my favs and I will continue to come back!"

  • "Had reservations, seated quickly, but waited an hour after ordering for food to be delivered. The menu is boring, all the same food you find everywhere else in the desert. The Waldorf needs to update its menu with more fresh vegetables and creative food choices and presentation. The historical hotel setting deserves better attention to what's being served in its restaurants."

  • "My family enjoys venturing over to La Quinta resort from our home in PGA West, but we rarely dine there. We had the opportunity to do so at TWENTY6 twice recently and were extremely pleased with the experience. The casual bar scene and pub fare was fun and the wait staff was outstanding. Attention was paid to every "customer service" detail. We definitely have a new neighborhood hang out!"

  • "Not what we expected at a Waldorf Astoria resort. Way too casual, noisy....but the food was good. Too casual. More like a golf pub for golfers."
    Dined on 1/9/2014
  • "Service was slow. Food was expensive vs. quality. French onion soup for $10?!?"
    Dined on 1/2/2014
  • "My wife and I had a great time. Food was excellent. My wife was thrilled with the fried chicken. We retired to the bar for after dinner drinks and that made the evening even better. Two managers stopped by our table to check us out. Bryan the bartender is truly entertaining."

  • "This "on campus" restaurant is good enough to visit even if you are NOT staying at La Quinta Resort. The breakfast/brunch is second to none, not only with quantity as any buffet brunch might have, but the quality! It's all cooked to perfection, especially the cinnamon french toast pudding! OMG! I found the service excessively friendly and eager...and efficient The outdoor seating area is so lovely, and well proportioned. . I loved it!"

  • "Twenty6 lives inside a resort and charges resort prices. So the value minded should look elsewhere. However, if you are there, the food is pretty good. They try hard to perk up traditional fair, but go too far in some cases. From too many peppers on the flat bread to a chicken sandwich that was so tall you couldn't take a bit of it, they over do it a bit too much. The garlic tater tots hit the mark, the side salad was better than expected. But the thing to keep in mind is that this is the place you take the kids when staying in the resort."

  • "Had reservations for Christmas Day, the place was busy, but missed out on the Brunch because they close brunch at Noon (usually, 11:30am) - 2 of our family members arrived about 15 too Noon...so... :( Service was great, our server was kind, notified his manager about any of our concerns, but when he went on break, he just disappeared. We were finished by someone else. The food was mediocre, nothing was outstanding, had the Caprese pizza and the French Onion soup. The guys had the BLT, tasted like it should or I would have heard about it. Overall, the ambiance was what held the place together and would love to come back for the benes."

  • "Service seemed well intentioned but overall poor. Entrees arrived while we were 1/2 through appetizers. Prime rib dinner from Christmas menu came rare for one of us. Asked for medium and waiter brought back 'new' piece that came back well done... Actually looked like same piece had been put in microwave oven. We said this is well done not medium and he said try it first... When it's greyish brown you don't need to try it. Vegetables with steaks were luke warm at best and quite a bit if food was left on plates. Very mediocre Christmas meal, especially for the price - won't go back to twenty6, and wouldn't recommend it based on our experience."

  • "It look too long for our food to arrive and when it did, one order was missing because they had burned it and had to remake it. The waiter was just okay."

  • "The Twenty6 Restaurant is part of the La Quinta Resort, which in itself is a beautiful spot, I have been there before and loved it, I would recomment Twenty6 and the La Quinta Resort for locals and visitors to our beautiful valley."

  • "We had a very nice lunch. Service was great. Staff were attentive and friendly. My Cobb salad was greasy and uninteresting. I had to trade out the cheeses due to allergy but there was no nice color or good crunch and very little acid- quite oily. I had to ask for a bread/cracker. My guest loved her burger with melted chees on rye. Her birthday cake and accompanying birthday song by staff was delightful and really tickled her! Few places do that anymore. Keep it up! Over all, it was a good experience - just not a culinary memory."

  • "Our group of eight was seated promptly at our reserved time. Our waitress was very capable. The food was served in a timely manner. It had great eye and taste appeal. Even our request for eight separate tickets was handled with kindness. We enjoyed our dinner experience."

  • "The place looked nice, the service was xlnt, the ambiance about perfect. But, surprisingly, the food was really disappointing. Two ordered French Dips and both said it was one of the blandest/worst FD they've ever had. ANother ordered spaghetti and asked to make sure it was al dente/not mushy. Well, it arrived and was mushy. Server was nice and offered to re-do but was too far into the meal by then. My chicken sandwich was very good and the fries in a tin can were fun and tasty. They gave us very nice and delicious ice cream pops for being Open Table customers, but was hard to overlook the three mediocre meals. Sorry."

  • "The food was very good as we had two different salads, the hamburger, and the tomato soup and grilled cheese. The bacon Bloody Mary was excellent and my wife's favorite. The service was also very good. They were very nice to help us celebrate my wife's birthday by giving her a piece of cake with a candle and the rest of us received chocolates covered ice cream pops. Thank you for making my wife's birthday so nice."
