A word from Triniti
With a nod to the culinary triad of sweet, savory and spirits, Executive Chef Ryan Hildebrand and a stellar lineup of culinary talent have banded together to create Triniti, a progressive American restaurant featuring "California French" cuisine. French techniques, light-handed, focusing on the highest quality ingredients available. Joining Hildebrand in the kitchen are Chef de Cuisine Greg Lowry and Sous Chef, Brandon Soverall and, at the front of the house,Wine Director, Stephanie Perkins and Assistant Manager Sawyer BUnyard.

The restaurant, unlike any other in Houston in both cuisine and design, represents an artistic outlet for all involved. Much attention has been paid to the details – inside and out – from the food, cocktails, open kitchen, commissioned artwork and custom chandeliers, to the tree-lined patio and chef's garden.

  • "Great decor but lacking in quality of service. Food is ok."

  • "Out group of four had a really enjoyable HRW meal. Interesting and delicious options to choose from. We also had great cocktails in the bar area before our meal."

  • "The wife and I tried Triniti for Houston Restaurant Week. The menu was creative and very well done. I had Amber Jack with candied lemons, a culinary addition that was original and paired perfectly. Would definitely return for the regular menu."

  • "Food was nothing to brag about - Pork was tough and fish was bland."

  • "The food was outstanding. The Caesar salad with smoked Romaine lettuce was stunning!"

  • "It has been a awhile since we dined here last but we were extremely happy with our meal. The reservation was somehow messed up and we had to wait too long to be seated. The place was busy & no where to sit while we waited … but after we sat down our server was great & took good care of us. Did not like the restaurant week menu selections so all 4 of us ordered off the menu, happy we everything we got!"

  • "Went during HRW, and were surprised that it was not full. The seabass was excellent, as were the two salads we had: Beet salad and tomato with greens and a delicious soft, white cheese. The lemon dessert was outstanding!!"

  • "The hard wooden chairs and benches are very uncomfortable."

  • "I went there for Houston Restaurant and was so happy this place made my list. I loved our server. The pork chops and salad were fantastic. And I got the best dessert that I can't pronounce (mousse with chocolate orange covered macadamia nuts). My only complaint would be that I hate cilantro and it wasn't in the ingredient list for the pork chop. And I have to deal with that a lot, so please don't take it personally. I highly recommend this place!"

  • "I originally dined at Triniti for Houston Restaurant Weeks two years ago and was immensely impressed. So much do that I returned several times for brunch. I've been away for a while and returned to Triniti on August 10 for brunch to find a revamped menu. My dining partner had the huckleberry pancakes which he said was "ok" while I had the chicken fried biscuit. I'd describe it as a tasteless lump with what might have been someone's very unpracticed version of gravy. The coffee was similar tasteless and full of disappointment. Not a good brunch combination."

  • "We went for brunch on a Sunday and decided that since there were 3 of us we would just order one of each of the 5 plate prix fix brunches and share Brilliant idea-- we all had our favorites but we all enjoyed everything...especially the perfectly prepared grits. Can't wait to go back-- excellent service, beautiful room and terrific food!"

  • "Beautiful restaurant, good food, good wine list. The noise level and intrusive staff limit pleasant conversation, and the staff are often intrusive further hindering the possibility of a pleasant and relaxed conversation."

  • "We dined here to enjoy the Houston Restaurant Weeks fine menu. It was fabulous and the quality of food is so fresh and innovative. The portions are spot on. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and wasn't pushy or in a hurry. I'm not surprised as every time I dine here I have a wonderful experience."

  • "I selected Triniti for a business dinner, and was excited to welcome my colleagues to town with the hopes of a great meal and experience. The main issue of our dinner (Monday 8/4) was the very poor service. The service was slow and inattentive. We had to ask for specials after sitting with our menus for 20 minutes, and we wound up wondering where our server was and when our food was coming with each course. In our case, the poor service cannot be excused by overcrowding or being understaffed. The restaurant was quiet and uncrowded on a Monday night. The overall experience was soured by the poor service, which affected our impression of the food and the restaurant generally. We will not be returning soon."

  • "We had an amazing brunch! Our server, Jase, was great. Stephanie, the Somm, was very helpful - though you could throw a dart at her list and be happy with whatever it lands on. The food was beautiful and delicious. Portions were generous, but appropriate. The space is lovely. We will be back!"

  • "Wonderful 8 course tasting menu. Very cohesive selections across the menu. Plating and flavors were at the gourmet level."

  • "Had both the vegetarian and the dinner tasting menus. Both were very good with a couple of memorable dishes. Pairings were OK, not really worth the cost. Our bill, though was more than $220 per person. There are too many other excellent options in town, to visit Triniti again."

  • "While food looks beautiful it lacks taste in a major way. Seats are very uncomfortable."

  • "Our first dinner at Triniti was awesome. This second trip was a disappointment. The food was heavily salted. Apart from the beet salad, which was lovely, the flavors were lackluster. The meals looked beautiful on the plates, and the ritualistic pouring of the corn chowder suggested special things to come, but the tastes were average. The lamb was tough. The sea bass was uninspired. The pasta was not hot. No one finished his/her meal. The waiter asked if we wanted a to-go bag, and we all declined."

  • "This was our first time to Triniti. The decor is modern and very bright. We Went for brunch on Sunday and my wife is not a fan at all for brunches but this one surprised her. I had the 5 course brunch (really 4 courses with coffee, juices, etc) that includes "bottomless Mimosas". All very good! The best course though was the Simple Grits that was not simple in any way - the creamiest grits ever, melted cheddar and fresh bacon bits! YUM!. My wife had the Foie gras dish and it was outstanding. Our friends ahd the BUtternut Asiago quiche and just loved it. Overall a rgeat meal and choice for brunch. Will definitely go back and try them out fo rdinner."

  • "This restaurant was really great. We had the chef's tasting menu with wine pairings. It was an eight course tasting menu and really every dish was delicious from the cream of espanol, beet salad, foie gras and shrimp! We substituted the pork for the new york strip and WOW it was incredible. The server was awesome. HIGHLY recommended from true foodies."

  • "This restaurant exceeded our expectations. The wait staff was very friendly and knowledgable about all of their dishes and wines. The food was also amazing."

  • "I booked this restaurant for my friend's Bachelorette dinner. They accommodated a table of 12 very easily. The service from the staff was AMAZING. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu. He was very kind and respectful to everyone at the table. I ordered the baby lamb and it was cooked perfectly to my preference. Splitting the check among 12 girls was not a hassle. The restaurant congratulated my friend and brought us a dessert to share. In addition to that, they made individually wrapped scones for us to have for breakfast the next day. They really went out of their way to make this day special for my friend. Complimentary valet service made this place so hassle free. I will definitely be back!"

  • "My now-husband and I went to Triniti for one final "date night" before our wedding last week. It was the best meal I've had in Houston; food was superb, staff was incredibly friendly, and the ambience was vibrant yet romantic. I wouldn't change a thing, and am just sad the budget doesn't allow us to eat here for every meal! We will absolutely be back, and will recommend Triniti to all of our friends."

  • "This was our first trip. We got their early and started with bar bites and drinks, which were a surprsingly good deal and big. We split a 30 oz. bone-in ribeye and it was great. It came with mashed potatoes and collard greens. The potatoes were very good, but the collard greens were out of this world. The best we've had outside of South Louisiana. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. We will be going back."

  • "Food choices were good, but maybe a little more than I wanted to pay for what I got... But the environment and service rocked!"
    Dined on 7/13/2014
  • "Great menu, creative, well executed, excellent presentation! Service is pretty bad. The waiter hurried us for orders even though the restaurant was half-full and we arrived two hoursw before closing); bus persons took our plates several times prior to our finishing a course (with food still on plates!) without asking whether wev were finished; bus persons asked twice more to take our plates with food still on them; waiter brought check before taking a dessert order. The poor service is due to training from restaurant managers. If this service is planned then managers and owners need a refresher course from a hotel/restaurant school in how to serve tables."
