  • "I was able to get last- minute reservations via open table; we were able to walk from our hotel and were seated as soon as we got there (30 min early)! We food was excellent, service was good, and view was incredible. (Access currently limited to escalator-only for top two floors due to construction; kitchen cargo elevator is available for disabled patrons). Too full for dessert, but it sounded yummy too."

  • "Dined on Friday night, everyone was dressed up! Booked via 'Opentable' system on the website. Luckily; as I had phoned the restaurant, left a message for a booking, my phone call was never returned. We arrived on time but had to wait a further 20mins for our table due to diners enjoying their evening. We had the Prix Fixe Tasting Menu - 6 courses. Was delicious! We also had the wine pairing - a definite NO!! They were nothing special, nor are they named wines. I suggest ordering a nice bottle from their great wine list and enjoying that with your meal. The service was very sporadic. Bread came past, but you had to ask of it. Wine and food for each course was very hit and miss with timing! Atmosphere was great, view was great!A definite try!"

  • "I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. I especially enjoyed the Korean Poke, the fish was very fresh. I was entertaining out of town guests and they enjoyed the revolving view of Waikiki-Honolulu. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My son enjoyed the bartender and his creative concoction. The negative side, the place needs a face-lift, especially coming up the escalator. Saw hole in the ceiling."

  • "We are from Los Angeles, CA and picked this restaurant to celebrate daughter's 17th Birthday. When we arrived we were told they were getting our table ready, it took but a couple of minutes but what they were doing was making sure the flowers my husband had sent from LA for our daughter (he stayed behind) were waiting at the table. When we arrived at the table she was pleasantly surprised to find flowers from her Dad at the table. The flowers and fact that everyone who waited on us knew it was her birthday and wished her a happy birthday made her day extra special! The location is excellent, the service is beyond expectations, the food was super delicious (esp. the chocolate cake), and the view spectacular."

  • "Overall our dining experience was ok, not good, not great. Server was short with us, but salads were good, we had the Pear Salad and the Bleu Cheese romaine. For dinner we had 2 Duck plate (found out nothing came with it but the duck and was barely warm and I had Surf n Turf. I wished I had taken a picture as the lobster tail was smaller than a medium shrimp on top of a teaspoon of mashed potatoes, the steak had no flavor and of course nothing came with it. I understand ala carte, but thought server would help the customer and let them know. When we were through, it took 15 minutes to get someone to remove our plates and finally get the bill. You pay high prices for the sights, food and service was nt worth it."

  • "Hostest didn't look up when, we arrived, too busy trying to figure out where to sit people. Isn't that why you have service like Open Table, to help figure out ahead of time. Host Max was dressed like a slob Sorry Max but doesnt look like you give a damn what impression you give customers. Food was marginal, Signature Surf and Turf came with half of a 3inch "lobster tail" , not even whole lobster tail Which provided just 3 small bites of lobster. Restrooms were 3 floors down, with sign on 2nd floor for Mens room but with no restroom there and no sign on the 3rd floor"

  • "The view was wonderful but the food wasn't edible. $16.95 for2 pieces of scallops that were so chewy, you couldn't even manage to swallow them. We gave up on eating it. The waiter took it out of our check but the rest of the food wasn't good either. We used to eat here regularly when we lived in Waikiki and it was pretty good. I don't know what happened."

  • "There is nothing good about this restaurant even the view is not so impressive. The drinks were terrible, the bartender made our White Russians terrible, they were undrinkable. Then we ordered dirty martinis tasted like olive juice. The service was not attentive. No dress code. Simply this place have no quality, the service, food, drinks have no quality. We just went there to enjoy the view but the view was not impressive either. Simply terrible experience."

  • "Each time we go here, we are more and more grateful for the experience. One of the best views in Waikiki (albeit not on the beach) where you can feel like royalty and have creative and reliably delicious meals. The chef's preparation of the mongchong cannot be beat-we're having a hard time moving to other choices each time we go because it's so good! The pear salad is inventive, fun (cracking open the lumpia filled with warm salty cheese) and an explosion of flavors. Our waiters are always top notch."

  • "Brought my fiance here to celebrate our anniversary dinner. We came during the end of happy hour. We ordered 3 rounds of drinks from the happy hour menu. Our appetizer (ewa sweet corn chowder) and that was amazing. The entrees we ordered were delicious. The dessert (toasted hazelnut gelato pie) was just as amazing as everything else we ordered. The service was great and prompt. Our server was very friendly and helpful. We will be coming back again."

  • "We go to Top of Waikiki every time we visit Hawaii and are never disappointed. Appetizers, entrees and desserts are one-of-a-kind, the only problem is that there is not enough choice for vegetarians. Other than that, service is excellent and we will continue to visit Top of Waikiki."

  • "The food was ok. It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad. I had the filet and it was a little undercooked but I honestly didn't mind. My mom had the snapper and she loved it, she doesn't like shrimp though so the risotto wasn't a good for her. My dad had the lamb two ways but he only enjoyed that half that was bone in. The servers were nice though. The view was awesome. I will think about coming back again but I don't know"
