I had a very good experience. I did not feel out of place as a single diner. The food and drinks were delicious. The noise level was higher than I like--I am not sure why restaurants don't use more sound absorbing materials in their spaces.

Decided to take advantage of "Happy Hour" and to sit outside. Great choice for both. Service was great. Water glass always full thanks to the attentive bus boy. Waitress was fun, professional and also very attentive. We ordered drinks and lots of items. Food came out promptly as did our drinks. Perfect prices for Happy Hour food and everything was enjoyed by all. Not my first time here and will continue to come to enjoy delicious food, great ambiance and service that you would expect from a fine restaurant.

Had a great night at the Brickhouse. Thankfully we had no other plans. Very slow. We got offered cocktails immediately but appetizers order was delayed a moderate time, no issue. I was enjoying the time together with my girlfriend. Unfortunately, we weren't offered to order our dinner until 8:15 on a 7:15 reservation. The food was great. When paying our bill, they had to run it 3 seperate times to get it correct. I had a GC and tried to use it with my visa. Total confusion with multiple staff!!! I finally ended up just using all the gc and cash. Why would someone want $7 left on a gc when paying these prices? I just wanted to use it as part of the tip.

We had a wonderful time outside, dining on the sidewalk. The service was excellent. We had a party of 8 but almost everyone was disappointed in the preparation of their meat. Three of us had steak and all were overcooked. We requested medium rare and all were medium. One diner had lamb, which was undercooked. The salads were great and the one dessert we all shared was perfect. I have eaten at this restaurant on many occasions and this was the first time I was disappointed in any way. maybe they have a new chef?

We had a wonderful dining experience on Tuesday night. it was my birthday and they gave me my desert with a candle on it for my little celebration. Waiter was very personable and of course the food was delightful. We always know that the food will be great and the wait staff vary attentive when we dine at the Brick House.

Two things I love most being in a fine restaurant while feeling I'm outside! My husband is not an outdoor diner; flies and other things bother him to no end, but he really enjoyed being on the inside of our table while I was at the open door side. This is a charming old remodeled firehouse so it's got lots of character; our waitress was johnny on the spot; all three of us ordered a completely different meal and we were all very satisfied; I had white prawn scampi, my husband loved the large serving of salmon and our friend, who was in the cattle business, thought the steak was great. And the side order of creamed spinach was fresh and not drowned in sauce. Give it a try!

Service was good but food (for the price) not worth it. Ordered the filet oscar but had a piece of gristle running through it and had to leave most of it on the plate For that kind of money we expected much better. Went to Brickhouse in Redmond a few years back and was very impressed, sad to say we did not have that kind of experience this time.

AS USUAL, THE MEAL WAS GREAT. GOOD VARIETY OF CHOICES ON THE MENU AND COME BACK FREQUENTLY TO THIS SPOT. THE NOISE LEVEL IS NOT AS HIGH AS OTHER RESTAURANTS IN THE AREA SO YOU CAN HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH YOUR GUESTS AS WELL WITHOUT SHOUTING ACROSS THE TABLE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOT SPOT.

this is a place I want to rate high - great decor, friendly folks, but our steak was mediocre and the mushrooms just OK. For a steak place, I expect the steak to be prepared as ordered (medium) and to taste great, but we had to send it back as it was raw the first time it came out. Even our waitress was surprised when she saw the meat cut into. The table next to us had the same problems with steak and lobster being under cooked!

We went on a Sunday, so it may not have been the "A" crew on staff that night. I ordered the steak and lobster and my wife the crusted fish. Hers was not cooked all the way through, and mine was overcooked and somewhat charred (I always order medium rare). The dill mashed potatoes were just not to my liking, but that is a personal thing. The hostess was not friendly or welcoming at all, our waitress appeared to be in a hurry the entire time although very few people were in the restaurant, and we never saw the manager which again, for a high end restaurant on a slow night is not typical in this area. At $59 for my plate, I would have expected a lot better plate and experience.

Our first time at their new location in the firehouse. Service was top notch and their wine list is amazing. We were seated in the back room. There was a group of bachelorettes seated in the middle of the room that made it very noisy. Once they left it got much quieter but you could see where the acoustics in that room would not help that situation. The noise level didn't match the subdued surroundings. Fantastic wine list brought to you on an iPad which made the selection process fun and easy. Which is good because they have an extensive menu. The food menu is a steak lovers dream. Everything was prepared perfectly. My one quibble is that my steak could have been served to me a little hotter. It was more on the luke warm side.

There are a LOT of good restaurants in Bend and we haven't tried them all... yet... but so far the Brickhouse stands out for best food and best service. My wife and I split an 18 ounce ribeye that was one of the best we've ever had... and we had some leftover for lunch. The wine selection is substantial and our waiter recommended their very unique cheesecake for dessert and that was fabulous also. Ambiance was very nice and background noise was not noticable. We highly recommend the Brickhouse for those special occassions.

Had dinner outside during Summer Fest so we were also treated to the music from the stage down the street. The adjacent waterfall is really nice for the outdoor ambiance. Service was a bit off that night, but the manager stepped in to help. The food was delicious, especially the chicken parmesan and ribeye steak. We have been here several times, but this time all our food was undercooked. We ordered steak medium and it was served just shy of raw. We also rdered a pork chop cooked medium and it was served medium rare. We will think twice about coming again especially with so many restaurants to choose from in Bend.

We made reservations quite a bit in advance, and got seated in the big back room. There were 2 tables of about 10 each seated right behind us, and it was so noisy that we could not talk to each other. We had not seen our friends for a couple of years, so this was not fun for them.We asked to be moved, and they tried to accommodate us, but there was no place to seat the 6 of us. I will say that the food was excellent, and the wine list is one of the best in town. Our server was very nice, as was the management. I know they don't have control over who comes in, but would recommend NOT eating in the big back room. That is where they seat the groups, and it would be much quieter in the front near the street.

Warm & friendly environment, food was very good, although a little on the expensive side, the bench/table was perfect for six of us, the noise level was low to moderate most of the time. The bench/table beside/behind us filled up with 7 young adults who were a little loud and made it difficult to hear at our table….fortunately it was the last 1/2 hour so it worked out well.

We had great steaks and a fabulous shrimp/crab Louis! The service was nit good. Our waiter was gabbing with guests at other tables of what seemed to be " regulars " at the restaurant. It's nit that we minded him talking and having fun, but he neglected to: Pour more wine Pour more water We had to ask for bread, and then he didn't bring the butter, so we had to ask for that. He was completely unattentive -but when he was at our table, he was pleasant. The food was very good, so it made it worth going to the restaurant.

Our group has dined at The Brickhouse on numerous occasions and all agree it is one of the best anywhere. The atmosphere in the bar area is vibrant but if you are looking for a more intimate or quite area the dining room certainly provides that as well. The food and drinks are outstanding and consistent and the service is as good as it gets. I usually have a steak which are always wonderful but on our most recent visit I ordered the Alaskan Salmon which was very good. I asked our server to recommend a wine to go with it which turned out to be excellent as well. The service here is like having a conversation with an old friend and they are always providing helpful suggestions. These people know what they are doing.
