   I was so excited to try this place out, I made a reservation a month ahead, just to have to wait 30+ min to be seated in a table in the patio when my reservation was specifically on the main area. When I told the hostess she said no your reservation doesn’t specify that but here I quote the message from the restaurant before I arrived “We seat reservations based on availability upon arrival for the floor that you booked. If your reservation is for standard seating, your reservation will be in our main dining room, which is indoor seating. If your reservation is for outdoor seating, your reservation will be for the patio. “ so she made me feel stupid for even mentioning that. At this point I was so hungry and thirsty that I said whatever. It took another 15min to be noticed by our server. At this point I was kind of done with this place, we ended up having one drink and just appetizers. The drink was good, appetizers were tasty, but nothing that would make me go back. I just don’t recommend it, go spend your money somewhere else where they respect their patrons.

   My group of four dined at Starlite for the first time on the patio. The staff was attentive, familiar with the menu, and had such positive energy. Our water glasses were constantly refilled and our servers checked in with us throughout our meal. The manager Frank is awesome!! We are already looking forward to going back!

   We had a great time! They were very patient with us and our reservations while my friend was stuck in traffic and I had to wait for her. They are super nice and great

   Always love Starlite. A true San Diego classic that has been brought back with a fancy futuristic reinterpretation. The space is very inspiring. The service is excellent, you really get treated well here! The pistachio ice cream sandwich is a must-order.

   It was an overall mediocre experience. It was a bit more crowded than anticipated and even more so since the space was small. I recommend sitting outside to avoid being bumped into while dinning. The place itself was a dream. Beautiful decor and ambience. It was a tad bit too loud for my liking because of the music and the commotion. It seemed to be understaffed. It took an hour to get our order taken after being seated and getting drinks. The prices were high for the portion sized. Dont get me wrong, the food had immense flavor but $35 for a rack of ribs…I expected mores Don’t know if I would come back to dine in but perhaps just to get drinks. Our server was very nice and was even recommended us some of his favorites from the menu. I would love to see this place expand. The space was tight.

   I had a starlight cola, very refreshing and tasty. Ordered the steak sampler. Delicious cuts. The ceasar salad and scalloped potatoes were also very good. Overall a great dining experience. The place is very pretty. Great service.

   It was a good time. Cocktails were delicious and the music was a vibe. Would recommend to anyone going on a date or looking for a cool place to spend time with some friends.
